What can you say about fast food that isn't already obvious. No matter when you go, it's going to be hit and miss and you really can't please everyone. This spot is no different. It's the last stop for food before I'm home and I hit it often. They're done a pretty average job over the past couple of years I've lived in the valley, but they aren't without a goof up here and there. Your typical Taco Bell Location is fairly good, near the Fairgrounds and close to downtown, sometimes traffic can be kind of hard to get in and out of being so close to Meridian. The building/interior is starting to show some age. Floors/tables were pretty clean while we were there. read more

Greeting, I just wanted to let you know that I visited the downtown Puyallup, WA Taco Bell location at 12:55 AM on September 16, 2016. I was promptly greeted in the drive thru and told I was the last customer of the night/morning. In the middle of placing my order the menu board shut off. When I asked them to turn the menu board back on so I could complete my order they replied "No" that they could not do that. Whomever was working and taking orders at the drive-through at this location does not care about being the face of your company and does not care about your customers. This is honestly one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in fast food dining. I am a professional and my money is not broken. Last week I went through the drive through. I took a long long time. I bet it was over 45 min in line. I went again last night and again the line was really long so I went inside. There was only 1 person eating in. I waited at the order counter for 10 minutes. Finally had to ask for help. The order still took quite a while. The place was dirty. There was no ice and I had to ask for some from the back for my drink. There was food and garbage on the floor as I looked over the counter. The counter they put the tacos on when they fill them was full of food and cheese and stuff. I think there were only a few employees there and they were not rushing around. I used to love coming here as they usually got my order right but the last 8 of 10 visits they have messed up my order. My cheese quesadilla with 2 times the cheese and no jalepeno sauce was part of my order. I also had a bean burrito with sour cream and 2 times cheese. Arrived home to eat and found something was crunchy inside of my bean burrito. No clue what it was. The worst part was my quesadilla was glued to the bag it was in and paper thin and hard and i had to peel the bag off . No way is there even a normal cheese in it. I have been to this taco bell multiple times and it has ended up where I have mixed reviews but my review is gonna be based on my last visit only! So everything I go to taco bell I go their for the 3 taco meal with soft tacos and no lettuce because I am allergic. In the past I have had some big problems with them caring about me being allergic or not. This manager though, took it to the whole next level they made sure who ever made it cleaned off the counter changed gloves. And all. So when getting my meal they brought me out my meal telling me they gave me some extra cheese! Who can argue with extra cheese right? The restaurant was very clean and the staff thier was more then energetic and friendly. This night crew is what will make me go again. Usually a 4 or 4.5 but the other night I had to give it a 1 bringing their average down to a 3. Ma_ _ _ literally threw my change at me. I called her on it and told her that wasn't the way to do it. My boyfriend and I stopped in about 10 this morning. Ordered our food and to be honest it was the most confusing ordering process We've ever experienced. The front counter order taker seemed new so we bypassed the hassle of ordering. We paid with cash, and received a dollar in quarters and the rest in ones due to the low amount of ones in the cashiers drawer. So being the nice guy the boyfriend is he offered to exchange some of his ones and the change for bigger bills, to help out with the low amount of ones our cashier had in his drawer. He need a managers help of course, so we said no problem. One of the managers on duty was already aware of the question we had asked from the back in the kitchen. He yells back to us " No we don't do cash back. " my boyfriend repeated his question because clearly the manger wasn't aware of his question. The manger still wasn't understanding and asks him to repeat himself while having an attitude. So we disregard the whole situation because it became too much of a hassle. Other customer comes in orders and pays with cash, so once again my boyfriend try's to help out and exchange his quarters plus his ones for bigger bills. The only difference this time was it was the manger who was giving us the the attitude from before doesn't acknowledge him, doesn't look at him, speak to him, nothing, just hands him to throws the bills in his hands and walks away. read more

In just the past few weeks, they have hired an abundance of new people. While they are (understandably) a little slow, the service not only I, but also my family has received is remarkably better than it ever has been before. Why every time i go here and spend money you mess up my order? I ask for NO tomatos you put tomatos. I ask for a burrito you charge me and dont give it to me. Sometimes you just get that craving. Unfortunately, you don't always get what you want. More often than not, my order has had missing bits or just simply wrong. I also always emphasize I want lots and lots of fire sauce--this is essential. They usually give me at least a few, but too often they have forgotten to give me any at all even when I remind them at the window prior to handing me my food. Sometimes my crunchy tacos are soggy. Half the time there is what appears to be a single tablespoon of meat in the entire taco. This is what you discover when you ask for no lettuce. I have gotten home only to find half the order missing. Great. This is why it is important to check your bag before driving off, kiddos, especially when it comes to fast food... including Taco Bell. As a customer my husband and I had to wait a 1/2 hour for all of the employees to stop bullshiting just to get up to place our order. This is just before shift change. Went here yesterday with my friend from work. We went through the drive thru and upon paying separately my friend received the wrong order and said "okay, have a nice day." We told the girl that she gave us the wrong order and the manager told her to "swap out with me." So she could correct it. My friend finally received her correct order and the manager said "okay here you are, have a good day." So we told her to refund us the difference of the sandwich since it was over $2.50. The manager obviously annoyed refunded her and again tried to shoo us away. We had to tell her that I was still waiting on my food. She apologized for the construction work for the dining area and told us to have a good day. Meridian) about how, if I had enough gasoline in my vehicle, I would have driven back to the faulty bell, but embarrassingly I was stuck downtown with some wack tacos. Fast drive through despite the incredible amount of customers at all times of the day. Orders are always correct. Inconsistent size on the different burritos. Always a pleasant drive through person at the window. Easy to block the sidewalk when exiting drive through. May need to study the product line better. I described the burrito I wanted as having chicken, rice, and special sauce but they couldn't name it. It ended up being the shredded chicken burrito. I really love those. My son was questioned after he ordered and told by the manager that he was racist in the way he spoke while ordering. I was there. And I am not quite sure how you detect "racism" through a drive through speaker..but nice try. Today was the second time in a week that I have gone thru the drive-thru and ordered the exact same thing....both times...the order was lacking the spicy sauce on my spicy tostada. The medium drink was filled with ice, because 3 gulps later there was nothing but ice in the cup. This Taco Bell has always been a little hit-or-miss with their service, but in the last five months (eating here 1-2 times a week), they have been very consistent in getting your order right. Now, they have brought back my old favorite breakfast menu, with a few new additions. Almost ten years ago they had breakfast servings, but it went away; now they are back, with the breakfast burrito leading the way. The bacon and egg burrito is delicious, if a little smaller than their earlier incarnation (so now you need to order two to get filled). There is also a sausage version of the burrito, or a new Johnsonville sausage wrap. I tried the wrap, but found it to taste "musty", like a home that had been closed up while the family goes on vacation. You can order their regular menu items too, so a 7AM urge for a Mexican pizza can also be fulfilled. But the best, most awesome addition to their menu are the Cinnabon bites; round, bite-sized, filled with warm and gooey sweet filling, they melt in your mouth and are gone all too soon.
