I was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant that I hadn't tried before and came across this restaurant. When you walk in, you make your order, pay and sit down... then your food will be brought to you. (Seems like a lot of restaurants are like that these days). I ordered an Al Pastor Torta and Carne Asada Fries and my sister got the Carne Asada Plate. The fries are made in house and not your store bought frozen fries. The carne asada was tender and flavorful. The torta was my favorite... the bread was crispy (some places the bread is soggy), the al pastor was flavorful and all the components of the sandwich were proportioned well. We stopped in on a rainy Saturday before H-Mart. The staff was super friendly. We ordered the chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs and asada, a pastor quesadilla, champurrado, and a Coca Cola. The food came out fast! The chilaquiles were fantastic. Very crispy tortilla chips, excellent salsa verde, onions, cilantro, and sour cream topped with sliced asada and sunny side up eggs. This is some of the best Mexican food in WA state. I went the first time for a burrito and it was pretty good. This next time I asked at the counter what they would recommend and the woman said that the chilaquiles are popular. It was fantastic! My wife ordered the verde enchiladas which were also great. I usually do not enjoy fries covered in random things but, you guys, hear me out... The carne azada fries are magical. All the food was high flavor (the spicy smoky red sauce is the Best), it came out fast and the service is friendly and efficient. Order at the counter and slap your number on the table, easy peasy. If you love tacos like me, this is the place to go ! They have amazing street style tacos here with either asada, pollo or pastor... all the meats are delicious but I typically either go with the pollo or the pastor as I love chicken and as far as the pastor goes it is a nice sweet pork with pineapple. They also make great Tortas which are sandwiches with your choice of any of those same meat choices on a toasted bun with Mayo, avocado, jalapeño, lettuce, onion and tomato. They have carne asada fries, a Hawaiian burger in case you're looking for something other than Mexican food ( LoL) and many other options as well as some bottled drinks and coffee. I mainly stick with the tacos as they are the best option here in my opinion, a lot of the other options are just way too greasy for me or just not as satisfying. The green salsa is very good with them too. The owner is a very nice lady and she is almost always there. Give them a try when you are in the area and have a hankering for Mexican food !! read more
