I had a very disappointing experience at this Taco Bell location. I first went through the drive-thru and asked if they had a Fish Taco. The employee said they didn't, so I asked for a Potato Taco instead. I was then told that I couldn't order it through the drive-thru and that I had to come inside. After I went inside, I noticed other customers were still placing orders through the drive-thru without any problem. I politely asked why I had been told to come inside. The staff confirmed they understood my English, so language was not the issue. A young male employee who had been outside unloading supplies from a truck came over and told me, "If you're going to order, order inside. Otherwise, you can leave." His tone was rude and dismissive, and he never explained why I was treated differently from other customers. I left without ordering because the interaction made me feel unwelcome. I hope management looks into this situation and reminds employees to treat every customer with respect and provide consistent service. read more

We have waited for over 1+ hour for our food ordered on the app and chose the drive-through option. Mind you, it's New Year's Day, but I am sorry, over an hour ++ wait for an order that was ordered from the app prior to arrival is insane! I feel sorry for the workers, but what the even hell???? Yikes!!! But they offered a free soda while we waited for the order. So that was kind and appreciated. I feel more badly for the workers working on a holiday and being so overloaded. To be fair, this is one of the busier locations in South West Portland and a. Major hub for the food delivery services (UberEatss, Grubhub, etc) in the area. I'm sure the team is good at what they do and have more volume than other stores. That said, my experiences (and I'm setting a very low bar for any fast food chain) have been terrible. It's as if they took the theme/team from Dicks last resort and doubled down. I would recommend driving to another location (it might take 20 minutes but would save time/frustration) or using a good delivery app (they prioritize those orders over in-person clients) Buen provecho! read more

Came in to pickup two orders. Got one put it in my car. Came back to grab second order and waited for employee as it was on mobile delivery stand. Employee came to me placed a bag of food in front of me and I said are all three of these items for this order. I pointed to bag, the lux box and the drink and the lady said yes. So I grabbed them and walked out. Manager came out to my car to stop me before I drove away. Apparently that bag was not part of the mobile order. Manager basically pointed out how I was in the wrong for not knowing that mobile orders are supposed to be sealed. I didn't know I thought lady gave it to me that way on purpose because she walked away right after telling yes it's all part of the order. I explained this to manager and he didn't listen and just continued to make me feel bad about. I even told him I pointed and verbally asked if all three (the bag, lux box and drink) were part of order and she said yes. The manager continued to ignore what I was saying and proceeded to his next point which was did I have 3 orders. I told him no I had two. He said why would I grab three orders then. This bag wasn't marked and handed to me for the order that had 4 items listed one being a drink. How was I supposed to know the lux box had three items in it. U think we be able to understand both sides but no we both ended the conversation saying u just don't understand. I was frustrated of course and the manager did not care to see my side of it .So I guess now I know to not listen to employee for mobile orders if they aren't sealed. I don't think I'm supposed to know how much items are in specific box at Taco Bell but... Such a lame experience for my local Taco Bell. I won't be going here anymore. Really weird experience: Ordered at the drive-thru window, was about 3 cars in front of us. Preceded to wait 45 minutes until we got to the window and they asked "did you order something?". "Err, yes 45 minutes ago at the ordering window, we've already been charged". The guy then immediately closed the window and we waited another 15 minutes, now been here over an hour. He opened the window again and again asked "have you ordered?, cause we don't have any food". We could see them through the window preparing orders the whole time we were sat there, when we mentioned that we'd waited over an hour at this point he very aggressively said "We have over 50 orders, plenty of people have been waiting, you are not special". What. We requested a refund and he grabbed the card, possibly refunded us (3 days later the charge still shows so it doesn't look like it) and then threw the card back through the window at us. Place shouldn't even be allowed to operate, I've never seen anything like it. read more

Been multiple times I have waited 10-15 min for someone to take my payment after placing an in store order through the kiosks. I have on a frequent basis have to wait 15-30 min for only 2 or 3 items I get on my lunches. Please pay more attention to your customers in store and don't waste people's time with lack of attention and awareness of the environment around your employees. I have had my order made fresh and hot by other employees even during rushes and have gotten attended to and got my food faster then I do when there's no one in the lobby at all. So I know it's possible to do this in a timely manner. As I'm currently writing this I have waited now 27 min for my food and this is with no one in the lobby but me. read more

I come through the Taco Bell a lot and every time I ask for sour cream there's always just a tiny bit in the very bottom of my burrito I asked the manager, Heather, kindly if 9 response to me was that they make burritos the way they make them and if I don't like it I can stop coming back to this Taco Bell or I can take my food away it's already made. She shut the window so I went inside and asked the rude managers name. The guy said "Heather" and she approached me and said "thank you leave now." I flipped her off and she said "fuck you too ". I ordered taco bell on a late monday afternoon through uber eats with the hopes of receiving my dietary restrictive taco bell order. i basically spent $20 for just tortilla. i am a vegan and requested extra potato's in my cheesy bean and rice burrito and got no extra potato. and for the spicy potato soft taco they added cheese when the request was for no cheese. the wait time was more than i expected and when i called taco bell to tell them that my order was wrong, the guy was very short with me and offered no refund. if you are vegan and enjoy potatoes i don't recommend coming to this taco bell. read more

Seriously.... this Taco Bell is the worst! I understand that it's fast food. So, my expectations have been low, but the results have been much lower than low. The service is slow, unfriendly, and less than accurate. I don't know if this is a franchise that's pinchin' pennies or what, but the amount of filling in some of their items is more than disappointing. I frequently order the shredded chicken burrito (along with many other things) and the burritos I receive have half the filling I get from other Taco Bell locations. The SCB is also supposed to include chicken, rice, cheese, and an avocado-ranch sauce. Well, 2 times in the last month I've received burritos with just shredded chicken in them, and a teeny TINY bit of cheese. Also, if you are looking to be serviced by a friendly face you should look elsewhere. I work in customer service, and being nice to people is the easiest part of my job. How hard is it to smile, or say, "I'll be right with you"?!?! I've walked in to order before and see that the employees are busy with the drive thru, and I get that! I don't need you to help me immediately, but at least acknowledge my presence. This location also has a habit of not placing all items in the bag. So, make sure to check it before you take off! I continue to return to this location because it's about 0.2 miles from my home, but I think I'm going to say f*** it and start driving to the location on Barbur (almost 3 miles away.) My husband and I came to this location, (not out normal one) We were trying to order from the app, because it's the way to earn rewards, and we've gotten used to ordering from most places this way. The app was working fine, until we tried to finish and place the order. We tried a few times to figure it out, then decided just to go in. Colleen came out to the counter to help us. She said the app is a different part of taco bell, and there wasn't anything she could do. However for our inconvenience, she gifted us some tacos. She was very helpful and kind. We were grateful for the attitude, and special attention. Life is harder these days with short staffing, and faceless people who are scared to talk to anyone anymore. I know how hard customer service can be at times. I miss the days of smiles, and kind words of happiness.
