We checked the hours for Five Guys before exiting the highway, and they were supposed to open at 10:30. Approaching the parking lot, we were certain that this was wrong since the parking lot was empty. But, the sign in the window said open so we tried the doors. Open! We found a friendly server and placed our order. We munched on a few peanuts in the shell while waiting. The dining space didn't have a ton of seating, but enough for the patrons that visited while we were there. And there was fair amount of customers in and out before 11. Soon we were enjoying fresh patties, which were cooked fresh in sight. We each had a burger and shared a side of fries, which is generous, for around $24. We also noticed they had a small burger, small fry, and small drink offer for a value price of $13, which is a nice deal.

Come on guys, this is fast food! Pay your workers!!! The total for two cheeseburgers, two small fries and two small drinks with this ridiculous tip was over $51. That is absolutely obscene. It's probably my last visit. Culver's is right next door and about half the price, no tip required and they bring your food to the table. The five guys value proposition in fading away.
