It's a taco bell. Service is pretty quick, and they do a lot of work to keep the place clean. I've only had issues with order accuracy when getting more than a half-dozen items, and while that shouldn't happen at all, people are people. For the price, missing the occasional bean burrito isn't the end of the world. I do wish they'd be a bit more consistent with the sauces -- sometimes it's exactly what you request, 1 for 1. Sometimes it's a hundred more packets than I need. The worst, though, is the rare time you specifically request a sauce and when you open the bag.... nothing. Honestly, this should be a 3-star review, but consistent food quality, extreme value, and long hours go a long way to make up for the occasional missing item. read more

This Taco Bell sucks! Worst one in Salem. Consistently screw up orders, very chintzy, and don't even think about ordering their fiesta potatoes at night, they are old and gross. Whether it's the management trying to save food cost by not changing out the food after the required time limit or lazy employees, there's a noticeable difference between day and night food. Don't go at night! Also, the new chicken burritos are sub par and not enough sauce, so they're very dry. Not a fan! The only reason we continue to go here is their cheap boxes. The most visibly disgusting fast food place I have seen and I didn't even eat there. I was doing doordash and upon walking in, waited 10 minutes for someone to ask if I have been helped. After, I noticed a few silver trays where they keep the meat and topping just laid on the floor. Additionally, had to ask for a bag for the large order I got. I'm not even sure about some of the one-star reviews. Really? I had a great experience at this Taco Bell twice this week. The first time, I ordered on the app and saw that when my order came up on the screen, it wasn't exactly like it was when I ordered on the app. I mentioned this at the window and the polite and friendly employees told me they'd make sure my order was correct - it was. The second time, I ordered at the drive-thru. Both times, employees were fast, polite, and friendly, and my order was correct. Both times, I ordered between 9 pm and 10 pm on a weekday (because only fast food was open and Taco Bell is open later) and my food was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Beans and beef were not dry or hard at all, and veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) were crisp and fresh. Also, this was super cheap at less than $5 per meal - you can't beat that. read more

I had had a very rough, stress-filled day, and was going to get some very late lunch, and apparently not only was my debit card demagnetized, I couldn't find it! I had no cash, so I was ready to just pull through the drive through and out the other end, empty stomached and that much more distressed. No one is in the restaurant and there are 5 people working.... no one even noticed us for about 5 minutes because the drive thru guy and taco assembler were deep in conversation. I cleaned our table off; the restaurant is filthy. Nothing is stocked; no napkins, no sporks and only fire sauce. This week marked the return of the Grilled Stuft Nacho from Taco Bell. It originally hit taco bell stores back in December 2013, and it only lasted for about a month or two. It was one of the Taco Bell items I would eat for lunch and dinner during that time. It's now back for a limited time, so I wanted to make sure to review it before it was gone again to the deep end. Taco Bell describes the Grilled Stuft Nacho as this: "Nacho flavors all wrapped up and grilled to perfection in the shape of a giant nacho chip, with seasoned beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, our new zesty nacho sauce, crunchy red strips, and cool reduced-fat sour cream." I was mainly a big fan of the Grilled Stuft Nacho because of the price. It was $1.29 and it felt like a value, however now they have raised the price to $1.49. I still think that is a super deal, and I'm still in line with the price of their other menu items. In ordering 1 Beef and 1 Chicken, my first reaction is the shape and structure. The triangle shape makes it look really big, however it is somewhat awkward to eat. It also is very limp and soft, without much structure inside. Other Taco Bell items, such as the Crunchwrap, are easy to eat. The Crunchwrap includes a tostada shell on the inside that creates a level of stability. Maybe that is something the Grilled Stuft Nacho should adopt? It might be worth trying. But who knows for sure but this a review! Now about the taste - I am a big nacho cheese fan, and the fact that this has two different types of cheese is a big plus for me. The zesty nacho sauce was somewhat spicy, and seemed to complement the regular nacho cheese. However, the cheese did saturate the rest of the ingredients. The beef flavor wasn't very discernable under all of the cheese, and the red strips weren't as crunchy as they could have been, but all in all, it is a nice mixture of flavors with a lot of cheese and sour cream, and some nice textures. I would have preferred a bit more crunch. With this type of food delivery system, just like the Crunchwraps, Chickstar, or Crunchwrap Sliders, the way you eat it definitely impacts the different flavors you encounter for each bite. With the Grilled Stuft Nacho, it is almost impossible not to eat it vertically, which means most of the cheese sauce and sour cream moves to the bottom. It creates an uneven flavor combination. When you eat this, make sure you even out the ingredients and try to eat it as horizontal as possible. All in all, it maybe 1 of Taco Bell's best item's, but I think for the price point and what you get, it is right on the mark. Definitely, I will be returning day after day and night after night to get this Grilled Stuft Nacho my self and friends. read more

Horrendously slow!!! The drive thru was backed up 10-12 cars. Surely thought ordering two tacos would be so much faster by going in. NO! This was around 12:30 pm on a Sunday. My wait had to have been 20-25 minutes. Heard another customer express a little empathy for them, stating they were probably a little short handed. Tried to be patient with this same attitude until I finally got my food, walked out and saw two employees slowly saunter in from a break. Just insane. If it's that busy and backed up, how or why would two employees be on break at the same time? Wow, just wow. The manager at Taco Bell in WEST Salem was beyond rude. My children like their cheesy roll ups them. I let him know we have had them grilled many times before. He said it's up to the location and they don't grill them. I then let him know nicely that we have had them grilled THERe many times before. He said "well it's up to the cook, I'm the manager and the cook today and I'm not grilling them." I then began asking my daughter if she would like them ungrilled and he says "I need your order." I eat at Taco Bell in West Salem 2-3 times per week since COVID-19 restrictions began. Before that I ate there a couple times per month. I noticed a HUGE improvement in the quality of service. I spend an average of $10 per visit... and they have gotten the order right every time. It's like they have become this perfect team, working in unison to deliver the order correctly and efficiently. Honestly, where do I even start about the nightmare of an experience I had at Taco Bell tonight. I placed an order on the mobile app at 9:28 PM (3 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant). I opted to pick the order up inside since the drive-thru line was long. I go inside and wait for them to call my name. I wait for 10 minutes before I finally ask the cashier if he knows what's going on with my order. He tells me that it the cooks said it went off the bottom of the screen and they missed it. Okay, so I wait longer, all the while I am watching people who are just walking in take no more than 5 minutes to get their orders (and these people didn't even order ahead on the app). I wait 15 minutes longer, and by this point I look at my phone and realize I've been waiting for 30 MINUTES since I placed my order!!! I ask the cashier again if he can see what's going on, and I hear one of the cooks say, "I'm just getting to it now". Seriously? Are you kidding me? If I'd already waited 15 minutes, shouldn't that make me your first priority? Not one single person offered me anything for my inconvenience, not one single manager ever talked to me or said a single word to me, and the ONLY person who was of any help at all was the younger kid who is the cashier. As far as I am concerned he should replace the idiot managers you must have working at this place. So, I get my food, go home, and open it up. Guess what!? They screwed up my damn order completely! I wait over 30 minutes for my food, I'm treated with complete disrespect, and then on top of that they screw up my order? I honestly don't know how I can just 'let this go'. I'm going to share this story with every friend, family member and social media outlet I can unless I speak to someone. This is ridiculous... Today I ordered and paid for a chips and cheese nacho and got home to find that I have a bag of chips, but they failed to give me any nacho cheese sauce. This is not the first time this I've had this exact issue at this location and I frequently experience some sort of order inaccuracy here.
