TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE! This location prioritizes drive through orders versus foot traffic orders. I was waiting over 20 minutes for my order and other people who were before me and after me waited as the drive-thru traffic was moving and moving, one after another. When I asked if I can get an ETA on my order I was told that we were up next. That was a lie because I waited 21 minutes to get my order. I did ask when I was handed my food as to why is it that the drive-thru orders are prioritize over the walk-in orders and the response that I got was "I don't know Im just getting back from my break." There's a reason that your location has an overall score of two out of five stars. I was just in here and it's appalling how much you guys charge for a product you literally don't even deliver on. And When I say literally, you guys charged me for stuff that you never even gave me. After the past several disappointing visits I had at the Taco Bell up near where I live in Daly City, I finally decided to hit this Taco Bell as I remember it being here forever. While the original "mission-style" restaurant has long since been razed, the newer design seems to sit oddly in this neighborhood. Alas, the neighborhood's fallen into quite a decline in the past few decades, as evidenced by the homeless guy passed out in the corner of the parking lot as I drove in. Anyway, the restaurant interior doesn't look too bad. The only thing is that there are two restrooms that anyone can come in off the street and use (some guy did just that as I was waiting for my order). I took a seat at a table that overlooked the parking lot so I could keep an eye on my car. I ordered through the app on my phone as it's the easiest thing to do when visiting any Taco Bell nowadays. But here's an interesting twist: In the app, there's a "Member Exclusives" section in the menu which has items they don't have on their normal menu. However, these exclusives vary by restaurant! At the Daly City Taco Bell, I can order Double-Decker Tacos, while this one in South City has a completely different selection of items. No worries, though. I got myself a 7-Layer Burrito from there as well as redeemed a Chalupa Supreme from my Rewards list, and a Diet Pepsi to wash it all down. Now, here's why I give this place 4 stars: The food here is the best I've ever had at ANY Taco Bell since I can remember! I mean, both items were prepared like they were straight out of the menu pics, and they tasted even better! Dunno who's in the back making the food, but they must be protected at all costs! :-) Given the sketchiness of the neighborhood, I'm a little wary to come back here, but I will again because the food was just so dang DELICIOUS here! read more

The employee threw the food into the bag carelessly like it was garbage, and the food ended up spilled all over the inside of the bag. Super frustrating and a complete waste of time. (!) - the drivethru employee was patient during me changing my order hella, asked if i wanted any sauces (which im grateful for bc i would've forgotten to ask for it) , There's some rare good taco bells , but recently it seems most location's portions are minimal or things are loosely thrown together and barely wrapped. THIS time, both of my items were made neatly and covered /placed into the takeout bag securely, with napkins and sauce packets. fillings were portioned generously and tortillas werent dry or stiff at all. big shoutout to whoever made my crunchwrap + bean burrito,they really put thought/consideration into it! very well-balanced ratios of beans, meat, sour cream,etc. especially noticed there was enough tomatoes & lettuce for my crunchwrap to feel lighter in my stomach than other times .. rare to see this level of consideration at any fast food place, but its very noticed & appreciated If you've had the munchies for Taco Bell but been disappointed by dry wraps that are falling apart, or stingy portioning .. You have a drive thru timer to clock your efficiency and making me pull up to cover your @$$ because you're not able to do your job in time says two things. 1. You need to prioritize better for food prep. 2. I spot this clean looking Taco Bell on El Camino Real, and it seems to only have a few cars in the drive-thru (DT). Hmm, I feel a need to order some Crunchy Taco Supremes. Service / Drive-Thru, Grade (1/5): I spent 10 mins in DT. It seems like they deliberately run slow. When I got up to order, I had to wait for 2-3 mins. By this time, the car ahead of me had paid and got their food. When I finally get to the 2nd window, there's 2 people but only one person is doing all the work. Okay, I used to be a fast food Shift Mgr, what's going on here? It could be they're training a new person, and the trainer is taking orders, handling cash, and checking orders. That would require a delay between cars. A drive-thru line should be in continuous motion.....order, pay, and get served. It should be quick, while maintaining quality. Also, they didn't ask or offer sauces. Crunchy Taco Supreme, Grade (5/5): I got my crunch on! Slow drive-thru, but the tacos were hellya crunchy, crispy and fresh. The taco shells were intact! Alright, I'm not ashamed to say it, I freaking love Taco Bell. After a night out or a long day, sometimes cheesy gordita crunch just hits the spot. However, with taco-flation being a real thing, Taco Bell has become a pretty pricey meal for fast food standards. No more $5 boxes, which was always a go-to when ballin on a budget :/ A cheesy gordita crunch combo which comes with two regular hard tacos and a soda is nearly $10 after tax. Add on my chipotle grilled chicken burrito, I'm spending close to $13 for a meal here. Do I keep paying it, yes, but damn after the past couple times, I should've just went to the taqueria down the street or next door for the same price. The last three times, they've gotten orders through the drive-thru mad quick, the result of the lightning quick speed - hard taco shells cracked, leaving me with a deconstructed taco that's just sad to eat. There's nothing more disappointing than unwrapping a taco and having to pick up all the pieces. Taco Bell, I love you, but damn please slow it down lol I do like the fact they ask what sauces you want at the drive-thru, makes it more efficient. The only problem is I'll ask for diablo and fire, and somehow end up with mild and hot. My suggestion, just ask at the window like the good ol times, please! But the food from Friday 10/11/24 made both of us pretty sick. No barfing (thank goodness) but lots of digestive track issues (gas, discomfort, loose poops). I don't really like doing food delivery since the food is never as good as eating at the restaurant. We ordered 2 crunchwrap supremes. I really love crunchwrap supremes, they are so tasty and I love how it is both soft and crunchy. They also have a new spicy sauce now, or maybe it is not new I just haven't had it before, the diablo sauce! It is pretty spicy, spicier and tastier than tapatio and cholula. Over all the food came hot, and it was done right. The tables felt a bit sticky, the kitchen area looked clean. The fountain soda area could be cleaned better. There is not much to write home about when it comes to fast food chains like Taco Bell. My experiences have been decent, but not great. This location is already sold out of Mexican Pizza's after they came back. I've ordered on the app every time and sometimes they will still mess up your orders or tell you potatoes are not available, but at least they offered chicken or beef tacos as a substitute. Sometimes the potatoes can be hard and difficult to eat because they'd sit for hours so they are hit or miss. Never really had an issue with the staff despite the constant turnover when it comes to employees. Some don't really say a word to you when you pick up your food, but can't really expect too much from a minimum wage job. I've been in that position before myself. This is still the most convenient Taco Bell location so I'll keep going, but just have to make sure my order is correct before leaving every time. read more

My favorite thing to get from Taco Bell is their #8 - Mexican pizza all the way. Unfortunately, the company had recently discontinued the Mexican pizza, but they had not updated their menu here. So after waiting and line and placing my order for the #8, I was then informed it wasn't available. It would be nice if they could update their menu options before pulling items off the list.
