Ordered bean and rice burritos without spicy sauce, they tasted spicy so we went back through and mentioned that we think there was sauce on them. She said "Pull around... I know it don't because I fuckin made 'em". The next ones weren't spicy... what a coincidence. When we first arrived we parked and began to walk in. An employee said "we closed at 10!" Around 10:07. I started to leave but then mentioned that online says they close at 1am and he said "yeah the drive thru"... why would the employee not tell us that we can use the drive thru without asking. We are from across the bay and do not know the way this location works. Another item I got was thrown in the bag with th contents half out of the tortilla... some girl hopped on the mic and was seriously disrespectful and straight up rude bc i misunderstood that i needed to come inside. The woman didn't want to give her name nor show her face, same as the manager. i walked inside and waited for 15 minutes bc I just wanted to explain that I didn't know. Also to apologize for the misunderstanding, stated that i DID NOT want to write this review. Yet no one would step aside for 30 second. I don't even mind the wait, but rude service is hard, b/c i've been on her side, in fast food and i don't respect how they handled the situation. One girl, Memory, gave the absolutely best service and was working her butt off to serve the drive through and everyone inside while also dealing with me and trying to accommodate for everyone. I have been here a few times, it isn't terrible as a fast food place but I'll caution to not use the Taco Bell app or place any online order. Apparently when you place an online order you HAVE TO use either the drive thru or walk inside, it's one or the other but can't switch. I placed drive thru but it was very backed up so I walked inside, waited for 35 minutes after already asking about my order, realized it wasn't being made and she then specified the second time about the app needing to check in the drive thru. i ordered food for my daughter saturday for delivery. the food never left this location and i was charged for it and my daughter was left hungry! no one answered the phone number that was on their site i tried repeatedly from 1030 pm till 1 am ,as well as contacting grubhub whom this tacobell uses to deliver their orders done through their app or website. i was charged and left to find numbers to call. i will contact the other number i found for this location till i receive my money back and see how they handle this entire incident. i am beyond disgusted at this point in time it is theft, my daughter food never arrived and was shown left at the store by the grubhub driver and i was charged for food that never left the store!! theft!! i will not stop until my money is returned and i will never order food from taco bell again!! read more

On Friday, October 6, 2023 I placed a food order using my Taco Bell App and the Taco Pass that I had purchased earlier. The order was set to be picked up INSIDE of the Taco Bell located at 30500 AL-181 Spanish Fort, AL 36527. When I arrived, I parked as usual, and attempted to go inside the building to pick up my order, but the doors were locked. I then returned to my car and entered the drive thru line in an attempt to retrieve the order I had placed and paid for. When the young lady asked for my order, I explained that I had placed an App order to be picked up inside, but the dining room doors were all locked. Before she could answer me, another lady's voice (whom I now know was the Store Manager "K*******") broke in and yelled at me "Because we're short staffed!" Before I could say anything, she yelled at me again saying "Drive around!" So I proceeded to wait my turn in line. When I arrived at the drive thru pickup window, the young lady working the window said "the store manager is refusing to make your order". I asked why and she closed the window. A few minutes later the Store Manager "K" appeared at the window and said "You'll have to cancel your order!" I showed her that the App said my order was already completed and I could see no way of canceling it. She slammed the window shut and disappeared. A few minutes later she reappeared and yelled "You'll have to pull around and wait!" I told her that I was going on shift, as I am a RN and I did not have time to wait any longer since I had already been delayed more than 20 minutes. I requested that she give me the order that I had already placed and paid for or cancel it, so that I would not be charged for something I did not receive or she could refund me my money. She refused and then yelled "I'm calling the :Police!" and slammed the window again. A few minutes later, Officer J Foxe of the Spanish Fort Police Department responded and asked me what was going on. I relayed the previous account to him and he responded "Sir, this is not the first time we have had this same problem at this location. He then met with "K" and attempted to reason with her, but to no avail. During this time THREE other Police Officers also responded in two additional Police vehicles. After trying to reason with "K" a second time, Officer Foxe suggested that I contact Taco Bell Corporate Headquarters and let them know what had occurred. If this young lady "K" is in fact a Store Manger, she is ill equipped with the temperament required to act in a managerial capacity. Because of her inability to control her anger, demeanor and speech when dealing with the Public, she places Taco Bell in a very vulnerable position with each shift she is on duty. I now have a Taco Bell Taco Pass that I purchased in good faith that is unusable, for fear that if I returned to this location, my food would be altered or contaminated in some way as retaliation. I believe this employee needs to be disciplined for her actions and retrained into a role that requires little if any contact with the general public. I ask that Taco Bell Corp HQ look into this matter immediately and take the appropriate actions. I want my money refunded for the Taco Pass that is no longer usable as well as the order I placed and paid for on that day but did not receive. Taco Bell Corp HQ may contact the Spanish Fort Police Dept. to verify claims at any time. Officer J. Foxe relayed to me that any requests for information should reference CAD # 2023-013050. This young lady "K" diverted badly needed resources of the Spanish Fort Police Dept. away from real needs and emergencies in their jurisdiction in a juvenile temper tantrum and an effort to "punish" me for asking a simple question regarding the dining room doors being locked during normal business hours. It is childish behavior such as this that turns loyal customers away from your business. It costs the taxpayers hundreds of dollars to waste their time, effort and resources responding to frivolous complaints such as this. I have tried in good faith to reach out to Taco Bell for more than two weeks now on their Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram platform as well as their complaint form page on the Taco Bell website, but have had ZERO response. read more

PROS: Cashier was nice and helpful. Ordered the $5.99 Grande Nachos and Grand they were. Too much for one person. Everything you could want was packed on there. Very good. Much improvement on their ice tea. New menu is so much better. They have pared it down and it is much easier to read. Not so busy. CONS: As usual, the place is just so messy. Owner needs to pay a little attention to this store. Most of the tables needed wiping off. Had to clean off our own table and seat, there was only one other couple in there. Drink counter was wet from end to end. Had to take the top off the napkin holder to get napkins out, had to ask for a straw. But everybody in the back was having a good time judging by all the laughter. No one came out and checked the lobby the entire time we were there.
