My husband and I have encountered many Taco Bell experiences throughout the United States, and this store does NOT get enough credit!! Every time we pass through Tallahassee, Florida, we stop here. This store is clean, the staff is always helpful and fast, and lastly the food quality is the best! Whomever is managing this store is doing a fantastic job developing this team of workers to represent Taco Bell as it should be represented. It is also not a hit and miss as this same representation hits year by year. Hey, it's Taco Bell not your friendly neighborhood taco truck, but before there were taco trucks on every corner they were here doing their thing. And every once in awhile I have to feed my craving for their crunchy tacos. This location does a good job even if their parking lot is IN only and cramped. Only the drive thru goes around the building. If you are parking you go back out the way you came in. And if you are headed back into town, do yourself a safety favor and cut through the motel site to Wal-Mart's traffic light. I've seen too many accidents not to do the safe thing. read more

Check your order BEFORE you leave the window. Left off several items. Was staying across the street at the hotel. Walked over to see if I could get the forgotten items. I was told to bring my entire bag back for them to look at and there was absolutely no way they would have left items out of my order. Because I love to go the extra mile for free Taco Bell. At that point, I just offered to pay for the items they left out of my first order. I was told I would have to get back in my car and drive through the drive through to do that. This was a disappointing visit. I asked for no spicy sauce on the tostada I ordered...it came out drenched in sauce. They remade it and this one had no lettuce. Just watered down brand, a few sickly shreds of cheese and a few pieces of tomato slipped on a tostado. We asked for some lettuce and they then informed us that they were out of lettuce. Stopped in for breakfast today and as I walked to the restaurant I couldn't see anyone in it so I thought they might not offer breakfast at this location. As I approached the door I saw an employee in the parking lot smoking a cigarette and chatting with a friend that was sitting in a vehicle. The door displayed the hours and showed that they open at 6:30 AM; it was a little after 7 AM. I walked in and went to the counter and still saw no one in the store. I stood there a few minutes walked around the far side of the counter and no one was to be seen, so I walked out. Crazy how some of these places are so poorly managed. read more

I came through the drive-thru on a late Saturday night and was impressed by the speed and accuracy of my experience. I had stopped at a couple of competitor late nite drive thru restaurants and each one had a long line of cars so I kept moving North on Monroe until I came to this Taco Bell. Came here for the first time in almost a year, the lady on the speaker could not understand us and just yelled. told us the wrong price, so when we pulled up to the window and she told us it again, we told her there must've been a mistake because we ordered the $10 craving box. she just said okay and closed the window. after waiting about 5 minutes, a lady and man came up saying we ordered a "chalupa box", but I didn't see how. The craving box has 4 tacos & 4 burritos, we had specific instructions for them. The lady argued with us saying she knew we said chalupa box, so she shut the door again. Got a manager, the manager just said,"can you come inside and us sort it out? it does say you ordered the chalupa box, and my coworker swears she repeated the order back to you". If she would have read it back to us... then we would've told her it was wrong at the speaker because we have never even heard of the "chalupa box". We just said sorry and said we would go somewhere else. Then they proceeded to slam the window when we were polite even after rude customer service. Probably the worst encounter I've had a fast food restaurant. Waited 20 minutes in line, and had to wait another 15 minutes for our food. Had to go back through the drive through and explained that I asked for soft tacos instead of hard, the lady went back (with out asking my order) and came back with 2 soft tacos (my order was for 3 soft tacos) when I had to call her back to the window she seemed annoyed that she had to do her job. I've never been compelled to write a review on a business, but I've been sitting in line at this Taco Bell for almost 45 minutes now for 4 tacos & still have 2 cars in front of me. I also watched at least 4 different cars behind me back out and leave because of the wait. I would've left myself, but I was stuck between multiple cars in the drive-thru at that point & could'nt get out. Not sure if they're understaffed or just slow & lazy, but ill never come back to this location again either way. I've never sat in a fast food line this long, and its a Tuesday night in a dead college town after exams. I just left the Walmart right next door before coming here & now my milk is warm in my car.
