Went in for a quick lunch yesterday. Staff stood around talking and making jokes while we stood there. No concern that we were waiting. While are sandwiches sat with no one even bothering to finish, the guy took a wash cloth and dusted off meat cutter all over our subs. Gross. We are huge fans of Jersey Mike's restaurants. And we have frequented many across the southeast US. But this is the first time I was so impressed that I felt I needed to drop a review in Yelp. Everyone was welcoming the moment we stepped inside. They took our order, filled the order and presented our food with a smile on their face and very pleasant attitude. Plus, the sandwiches were made perfectly! I never had to repeat any part of my order. The place was spotless, and the crew presented themselves very clean and very efficient. To prove this was not a one off great experience... The next day I placed a mobile order for food I was bringing to a school picnic. The mobile order was 100% correct and everything in the bag was packed with care. I've stopped at other Jersey Mike's in the Tallahassee area just because it was a bit closer and I have always been disappointed. From now on, I don't care how far out my way i need to drive. 3.75 On our road trip we decided to order Jersey Mike's online and pick it up when in the area. When we went into the restaurant our order was on a cart. My husband checked the name and it was ours. One of the men at the counter asked for the name on the order to confirm before we took our food. While in the restaurant I decided to use the bathroom. I was a little disappointed. It was clean but they had only a little bit of toilet paper and their paper towel dispenser was empty or not working. It needed to be restocked. This time I ordered the Turkey and Provolone sandwich on wheat bread with mustard. It was decent. I would have preferred more turkey in the sandwich but there was plenty of lettuce, tomato and onions. The vinegar and olive oil made the sandwich more soggy than what I am used to. I think they put too much on my sandwich. The wheat bread was decent but soggy. I've never tried the turkey and provolone but I'd order it again. Do not go to this location, take the extra 15 min drive to the next closest Jersey mikes. I have been to this location three times in a row they have got my order wrong. Twice I asked for no peppers and onions on my cheesesteak, but I get home to find peppers and onions and the other time they completely forgot the chipotle mayonnaise. Stopped by during a road trip for an early dinner. The workers were polite and friendly, and were super understanding with a picky member of our party. Everything was clean, and the bathrooms were well kept, though the floors were a bit sticky. Our food came out very fast, and was still quite hot when we received it. Went last night for dinner 2 hours before closing, when we got inside the person that made my husbands sandwich and mine was pretty short with us and seemed pretty annoyed we were even there. We also thought it was a little weird that all the meats were already out of the front fridge so far ahead of closing. This is for delivery, I ordered up a few subs and some drink for delivery. They came within the time period which is a little longer then most but was clearly listed. I got a #20 Grilled Pastrami Reuben (Regular) ,#15 Meatball and Cheese (Regular) #13 The Original Italian (Giant). Everything was good and you could taste the freshnes of the bread, vegetables and meat. Doesn't taste presliced like some if the other sandwich places like subway. You can really taste the difference if the fresh slicing no real slimy coating. I like to have mine topped "Make it Mike's Way" where as my kid just likes it plain with nothing but either way you can go wrong. Quality meats on fresh bread made to order. read more

This review is not about the food but about the general tenor of the staff. Came in before lunch rush, water (condensation) was dripping from an A/C vent on ceiling onto the floor in front of chips rack where customers stand in line. Mentioned to staff that water was dripping and was slippery. They said yes they knew. Mentioned that it was quite wet by this point and someone could slip, but they went about their business, didn't clean up or put a yellow floor sign out, etc. Went to fill my drink at the soda dispenser and found that the Pepsi was out, ie, only was dispensing carbonated water. Told staff, they said it needed to be changed. Ate my whole meal and they never changed it, offered no refund for a drink I never consumed. Will not return to this location. read more

Love love love the Chipotle Chicken Philly. It honestly may be my favorite sub in Tally. Jersey Mike's makes awesome subs every time I go. As with many chains, you can expect your food to be consistent. Jersey Mike's does both hot and cold subs. For the cold subs, you've got all the basics. I have only ever ordered a cold sub once when I was sick. For the most part I always get one of the hot subs, because that's just my preference. My all time favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Philly, if you didn't guess by the start of the review. I also frequent the Chipotle Steak Philly. Both are great, depending on if you're feeling chicken or steak. The meat is flavorful and covered with melted cheese, peppers, and onions oozing out of it. Mmmm. All subs are highly customizable. You can choose your toppings and they will happily change anything that comes pre set on the menu if you want to. If I haven't already stressed it enough, try the Chipotle Chicken Philly! read more

Just love the Italian sub's here! How can a sub be wrong when they put a salad on top of it with red wine vinegar and olive oil!!?? From the PERFECT bread to the fresh sliced deli meat and fresh veggies with their Mike's Way (minus the onions)...everything is perfect here, just perfect. I don't live in Tally anymore but every time I go there (which is quite often), I visit this specific location. It's cleaner than the one on Tennessee Street, the staff knows me and my boyfriend already, lol, and it's a lot less packed than the other one). What do I recommend you ask? The Club Sub. Ham, Turkey, Bacon, Cheese, Mike's Way (ditch the onion, unless you like them.) = PERFECT SUB. Jersey Mikes has all the basic subs you would expect at any sub shop with some extra flavor! If you want a consistently good sub everytime, this is the place to go. I have tried a variety of their subs and they never disappoint. Their chipotle Philly sandwhiches, both chicken and steak, are by far my favorite choices. The chipotle sauce adds an extra boost to the already good sandwich with meat covered in cheese peppers and onions. If you're looking for a cold sub, I suggest the turkey breast and provolone. As far as the toppings go that's all up to you! They have two sizes, regular or gaint. The gaint really is gaint because the regular is pretty big at about 8 inches! The regular always fills me up. The good thing about Jersey Mike's is they have consistent food no matter where you go. This particular location has the best customer service compared to the other locations in Tallahassee. The staff are always friendly and super efficient. Summer, the manager, is likely responsible for this. She's always cheery and very helpful. I've had my points stolen on two separate occasions. She printed out all my tickets and changed my phone number for me. She even called the store in California where the points were illegally used in hopes of catching the perpetrator. If you're a regular like me, you can take advantage of all the specials they run. Sign up for their newsletter for discounts. Go on Monday's for double points, and go on Tuesday's for 2 dollars off. Tallahassee has about a million fast food sandwich places and they are really all about the same...I like Jersey Mikes the best cause they still cut the meat and cheese to order and they have that tasty Hot Cherry Pepper Relish..I usually get the Italian or The Cheesesteak..family member recently got the tuna and said it was pretty tasteless....even though I like that they cut the meat and cheese to order it does create massive back-ups at the point of order and then the whole telling them what you want on your sub and payment area becomes a mass of confused people...that's why I recommend coming when it is not crowded for a better experience..though this is still my favorite fast food sandwich place I have gotten pretty stale bread the last 2 visits so it could drop shortly..would be 4 stars but gets a automatic one star deduction for not having Coke on fountain....ya just can't serve Pepsi in the South read more

Just came into this Sub shop in Tallahassee after spending 8 days with no electricity and getting ready for night 9. I asked the crew for their fav sub. They suggested the Philly cheesesteak for me to have a hot meal. The grill man and sandwich guy extraordinaire, Matt, a/k/a MT, cooked up a doozy. Meat, cheese, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños and their specialty house cherry pepper (relish?). He made 1/2 a sub with the relish mixed in cooked & the other 1/2 with the relish on top fresh. Throw in some oatmeal raisin cookies and call it a meal. Ok, I've gotten home and eaten the subs. Awesome is overused, but applies to Jersey Mike's Subs and to the whole crew tonight.
