No one at counter to take orders apparently these businesses are not into "real" customer service. The person who did come to counter to take cash did not change gloves when returning to prepare food. Long lines - long wait. Friday 2/13/2026 I thought ordering online and going in to pick up would be faster because drive thru line was around the building, I was totally wrong. My order wasn't being made and I sat there 30 minutes while customers were trying to get into the lobby to pick up door dash orders , they locked the doors at 10pm. I ALWAYS LOOK over my order before leaving because this has happened A HANDFUL of times. NEVER tell your customer that the food that's missing in the bag is in there especially when the customer took every item out to make sure it was all in the bag in the store before we left. I was missing two of the four soft tacos I ordered, he stood there at the front counter smiling at me telling me they were in the bag, he asked to Take the order back to the food line to look in the bag, came back and smiled/laughing at me saying " ma'am the other two soft tacos are in there I just looked in the bag". Yeah by that time I was pissed because nothing makes me more mad than somebody lying to my face basically he might as well called me a liar , so I opened the bag and pulled the entire order out to prove to him the other two soft tacos weren't in fact in the bag, I asked so where are they ????? At this point I was very rude because it pissed me off and he standing acting like I'm the problem because I'm mad that he's basically calling me a liar when he lied and took the food order back to the to say he looked and saw the tacos in there. This isn't how customers should be treated . The store looks disgusting food tables in the lobby were dirty along with the floors, the back kitchen is disgusting . I'll NEVER give my service there again after how I was treated . That Taco Bell needs to be shut down nobody knows how to run it , the place is disgusting . I don't know how half of the fast food restaurants in Troy are still open . Why are we paying $15 an hour to these people who don't want to work anyway. Nobody can keep the fast restaurants clean or the bathrooms clean. It's really disturbing when you see them eating while prepping customers food also and not washing their hands . Waited 50 minutes for 1 soft shell taco and one hard shell taco for dining in. Man waiting on a door dash order got frustrated and left. Dining room was filthy. 5-6 people waiting on orders and a man working there yelled the order of orders being done. Oddly ,the drive through appeared to be running smoothly. I restated assuming they misunderstood that they were from an online order. She sassily told me "yeah so you'll have to go through the drive through again to get it." Just order at the counter and not the kiosk or online if you dont want to hang around and remind them to give you a drink cup. I have experienced and observed this time after time. As long as I can remember the price gouge here is the drink. But the diet mtn dew does not dissapoint. Through multiple visits the lowlights were finding a hair and chomping down on a bone fragment. The slow service is not because they are always busy. It seems like that because they are so slow all of the customers start stacking up in the drive through line. I even tried going inside so speed up the process and it was just as long. 90% of the people working here are cracked out on god know what and have a total of 5 teeth. We pulled into the drive thru at 2:12 on a Sunday afternoon (5/15/22). We were five cars back from where you order. It is now 3:03 and we just ordered. Three cars between us and the window. The Tacobell in Troy, Missouri is stealing from its customers so take the time to look at the amount of ingredients they are putting in your tacos and Chalupas. I have posted at least 2 photos of what I was given and this is after the second time of going back. I was told by the employees and management that I could pay for an additional meal if I wanted more. When I told management I was going to call their corporate office I was told to go ahead that they are not corporate and not answerable to them. And they said if I did not leave with what they had given me and what I had paid for that they were going to call the police. I brought this meal home to my 11 year old daughter after paying almost $8.00 for it. Let me start by saying since late Nov. '21 I have tried going to this Taco Bell every other Friday to see if they've improved and tried getting a damn Bacon Crunchwrap (because if done right they're INCREDIBLE) I have left with disappointment approximately 85% of the time. Whoever orders their inventory really needs better numbers or some elementary math assistance. The food is usually subpar at best. Employees sometimes don't show up at the opening time of 9am (which is no good that they open so late to begin with but that's a corp. issue there.) I have been disappointed with this certain Taco Bell since I moved to this little desolate town and seeing improvement would make me tremendously happy. But there have been many times where I have been flat out frustrated with this place.
