What are you doing for lunch and why aren't you at Bricklayer Bakery??? What started as a booth at the Lake St. Louis Farmer's Market has evolved into a charming space featuring Chef Matt's creations inspired by and featuring local bounty. The menu constantly evolves per season, with a few favorites kept year round. There's locally produced ice cream, fresh flowers from the farm, baked goods, coffee, and breakfast and lunch specialties. I can't name a favorite because it just evolves, like the menu. This is one of those places you just know you'll find something delicious. Service is smiling and sweet, always happy to make a recommendation. Grab a friend, hang out and enjoy the best fresh f

Fresh healthy food. Great tasting coffee and espresso. Harvest salad has fresh goat cheese and fruit.

I'll be looking forward to telling my friends about stopping at Birdie's bake shop. I went to the bake shop an hour yesterday before it closed and was disappointed that I was not able to purchase some bread. I was looking forward to tasting. Heidi at the bake shop after I called her returned my text quickly and I did appreciate her getting back to me in a timely fashion.
