I can't decide if the food quality or the service is worse at this Taco Bell location. While they've never messed up my order, the customer service is non-existent at the drive thru. Employees are not friendly at all and look miserable all the time. The food is very bland and any product that contains any meat, usually has half the amount that other locations use in their items. My biggest complaint: The employees at this location say they can't make Enchiritos anymore, but if you believe the Taco Bell "company line", they want you to use their app to customize your order any way you want...Except they don't know how to make an Enchrito? I literally just parked after that weird drive thru experience! For someone who only lived a few years in America , I can still say that I get stressed when I have to order stuff at the drive thru. But , I do because I love the potatoe soft taco. So without understanding all that stuff in the Menü and constantly getting something different , this time was extremely hard . I said :" hi, i would like to have that spicy potatoe thing , but not the burrito" (NOT the burrito because that would be with meat , which I don't like ) so as result I got something totally different Lol some cups without any silverware or napkins , just two container in the paperbag. I went right back in there and said , hey - I think I got the wrong order ? That answer was really rude ! She got louder and said "no you said spicy potatoe and we can't take the food back ! If you want to order something else you have to pay that !" first of ; I never said anything about money back or made a Szene , so I said really chilled :" no problem! I would like to have that spicy potatoe wrap with the lettuce you have - but not the burrito " and she said "are you sure? Are you sure that is what you want?" I was so mad, I couldn't even say anything else then:"yes ma'am" Jepp - never going there if I hear that voice again. Never had a problem with costumer service because I ALWAYS say : I'm sorry if you don't understand me , I am from Germany . Never had anyone being rude to me or just try to get me out of there. I feel like I'm a reasonable and patient person. I've tried to give this Taco Bell an opportunity to change my opinion before I would rush to judge them. I've been going to this location since July 2016 and have been there about half a dozen times. I have checked the accuracy of my order almost every time I've gone through the drive through. Only twice, has my order been correct. Today, I had my son check the order and everything seemed to be fine. Turns out, they forgot to put the Mexican pizza in the bag! That's right, the main combo item, generally placed first in the bag was not there. I got in my car and drove back. I went inside to get what was missing from my order. As I'm standing in the restaurant waiting for my item, another man appears who says he's missing 2 cheesy potato burritos and another person is on the phone complaining about an inaccurate order. There were plenty of employees, so I don't think understaffing is the issue here. My recommendation would be to go eat inside. If you're missing food, you could go back up to the counter rather than having to drive back to the store and come back home to cold food. Maybe they think they're saving some money by not giving you your food in the hopes you will just give up and not return to get what you paid for. Kind of makes you wonder how many people don't return to get their missing food because it's too much trouble. read more

This is a brand new Taco Bell built in our neighborhood and I'm thrilled that it's here ~ because when we are craving something like tacos & my all time favorite from Taco Bell: the nachos bell grande and we don't feel like spending a fortune or sitting down for a long time ~ Taco Bell is the place to go....even at 1100 at night and the kids are hungry. I enjoy this Taco Bell immensely and have gone here quite a few times already. They always get our order correct every time. It almost seems like the ingredients at this location are very fresh as opposed to other Taco Bell location. So I know the food is going to be good. The staff here is always friendly and they suggest great options when we cannot make up our minds. This place is great, thank you! read more

This is the third chance i've gave this specific taco bell location. The first time, me and my husband waited 45 minutes for our food. We waited a long while before giving it another shot. The second time, we received a completely different order. This last and final time, we ordered two large kickstarts, nacho fries $5 meal box, reg side of nacho fries, and mini chicken quesadilla. We asked for no spicy ranch on the taco in my husbands box, which they ignored. I also had maybe two TEASPOONS of cheese for my nacho fries in BOTH cheese containers. On top of that, the fries were soggy and cold. Went to go take a drink, and both of our drinks were pure carbonation. No flavor. Very upset, will not some again. read more

Checked out the website last nite to see when this location opens. It's supposed to be 7 am. My son wanted to try the breakfast Crunchwrap for his birthday today. We arrived at 6:57 in the drive thru. Waited until 7:07 to knock on the locked doors to get in. (Where the posted hours of operation on the door state an opening time of 7:00 am). There was an employee there who pretended not to see us. We went back through the drive thru, and finally left around 7:15 and went to McDonald's instead. I would rank this 0 stars if I could. I have tried coming to this location on four separate occasions. The first time took 20 minutes to get my food after ordering in drive-through. The second time my food was made incorrectly. My third time the lines were not moving for 10 minutes at the drive-through so I left. Now my fourth time they are out of four beverages including the Baja blast which is their signature item. In my personal opinion if a business is consistently getting low ratings on social media and other rating sites, and they cared about their business, they would try to make changes. This has been a review that I've been waiting to do for quite some time in hopes that things would change. This Taco Bell is probably one of the worst ones in Virginia Beach, in my opinion. If you can avoid this one and go to the one that is on general booth, you will be much better off. read more

Couldn't even get the order input to the computer without over charging me. All I wanted was a grilled breakfast burrito substituting steak for bacon. The drivethru person added steak instead of subbing. This is a $1.50 charge where most Taco Bell's its .75 at most. Drive thru lady said there wasn't a button for steak. Maybe I found a hole in the menu button matrix but I am not paying 3.00$ for a $1.50 item just bc this person doesn't know the buttons to press. I went to the Taco Bell on Elson Green and Upton. I went in to order a Pepsi. The majority of the employees were wearing masks around their neck or exposing their nose, not covering their nose and mouth. They were handling peoples food this way. When I asked them to pull their mask up before getting my drink I got scathing looks. I do not recommend going to this restaurant if they have no regard for other people's safety. read more

They were burnt, and the cheese layer in between the 2 tortillas was so minuscule it was hard to even find. There's supposed to be enough cheese to balance out 2 tortillas but no, it's like I basically ordered 2 tortillas for dinner. The pictures show the amount of cheese in one half of the quesarito. Brand New Taco Bell here. Just opened today, June 22, 2016. This location use to be the Handel's Homemade Ice Cream place. I didn't know Taco Bell has a $5 box special. That's what I ordered. It was pretty good. This store is new so everything should be pretty awesome for a few years. The quality of my food was great and everything tasted fresh. Being a new store, they are giving away free taco cards with every purchase to be used on a future purchase. The new staff is good. They are polite and got my order correct. This location is the new go-to location. The Taco Bell in general booth BLVD has slacked up and isn't as good anymore. read more

My store manager ordered food from here for a pick up order for his lunch and wanted me to pick it up. So around 12:30 I pull into the drive thru and notice that the line is packed. As I'm waiting maybe not even 5 minutes have passed and a woman drives in the parking lot and parks her truck and walks in Taco Bell. I thought to myself, it would be quicker for me to do the same but to pick up the food and leave. Nope that didn't happen at all. I park my car and walk inside and walked straight to the counter. I can see the manager and she takes a good glance at me while I'm trying to get her attention saying "excuse me" so she can notice that I'm waiting to be assisted. One of the employees gives a person their order and I tried to get their attention. She never comes to me and resumes working. Then a woman from Brinks comes in and asks for help with the register for the money she's handling for her job and the cook comes over and helps her. I look at him and say "excuse me" and he goes back to his job. After that I'm getting impatient while being ignored three times because I have to go back to work and also I was suppose to clock out of work by 1pm. I'm still waiting in front of the counter and one of the employees approaches the soda fountain and then I say "excuse me" again and still no response. Now I'm pissed off because no one came up to me to ask if I need help or anything. I then waited maybe another 10 minutes and still no one comes up to me. After waiting for this long I thought to myself again and just walked out to my car and waited in the drive thru line again for another 10-15 minutes. As soon as I got to the window I ask the employee working g at the window if they do PICK UP ORDERS I SIDE THE RESTAURANT??? He look dumbfounded..... It took me a little more than 30 minutes to get out of there just for a PICK UP ORDER!! This made me late to clock out of work so I can get off of work. Live close by and tried to give this place multiple chances. I have never experienced a slower Taco Bell in the entire country. 45 minutes one time, over 30 minutes another time, a different customer waited an hour. Something is def. wrong with the management or process with this restaurant and the time it takes to get the orders out. From the look of the other reviews, I am not the only one. read more
