This Taco Bell is one of the better locations in Durham. The service is always pretty fast and accurate.

After visiting Hollywood Cone, I meandered through the connecting parking lot to figure out what stores were around. I had also thought about getting a bite to eat. I noticed that this Taco Bell had a long lineup. I decided give it a try. I ordered the soft taco combo, which gives you two beef tacos. I upgraded to nachos supreme, and indicated that I didn't want any sour cream on it as well as in my tacos. Done! I also got a Diet Pepsi. This Taco Bell has been around for a while. Pulling up to the drive-thru made me think that this place has been there for decades, with a feel of being back in the early 1990's or something. The car in front of me was clearing out a ton of garbage and stuffing everything in one of the conveniently placed garbage bins. As for me, I only had an empty Starbucks cup to dispose of. The front counter staff were nice. It wasn't my intention to even go inside the restaurant. I don't recommend the app. Using g the app was bad experience. It charged my credit card then popped up an error code and didn't complete my order. Use the web browser for online purchases. There was a coupon on the app I was trying to use. The staff went to the manager to try and give me to same deal in store and I was denied. I reluctantly ordered the rest of my order. Full my drinks at the self serve fountain drink machine. I didn't taste test my self poured drinks. My bad. Got them home and I got a cups of soda water. Called to complain about the drinks. The person on the phone asked the manager if they could provide and kind of compensation. Allegedly the best they could do was to have me return to the store to get new drinks. OMG!!!! No,no,no!!! Me order stuff they mess up. We order again they mess up. decided to go in and order my self. I ordered 2 bean SOFT toco supreme and a small fry and a iced tea. They charge me for soft toco hard, another hard, Pepsi, large fry. I corrected them. They changed it to another wrong thing!!! That happened at least 20 more times like bruh- then a customer screamed our orders at the top of their lungs and yet dem toco peeps still messed up. Like bruh you work here- then I walked away because I can't handle this. Like make me starving is like what the toco worker we're doing. So disappointed in those kids. They can't even get my order! The food is what you expect, but that's why you're there! Love the Fries Supreme regardless its nutritional content. Meximelts or Gordita Crunch are my go-to when I get a craving. There aren't many locations around, so I can't compare, but this has THE slowest drive thru. I stop here a few times a year and each time, I've put my car in Park. Taco Bell is what it is. And this location is pretty decent. The service is prompt, they do a good job with the food. I find that Taco Bell is one of those fast food chains where they're incredibly consistent with their food. From one location to the next, you order the same meal, it comes out looking exactly the same. I have had a few instances of being slightly overcharged at the drive thru window but they've always rectified it (extra cheese instead of my dollar back? yes please). I will say that the drive thru window is slower than going in to get your food, and you do spend an inordinate amount of time waiting (or at least it feels that way) but it always ends up good. The drive thru itself is oddly located in this plaza.. you have to circle the restaurant just to get to the ordering speaker and window. Other than that, no complaints here! read more

Came in today. I ordered the build your own box. It's a pretty good deal, and was ready rather quickly. I ordered 2 soft tacos with no lettuce, nachos instead of fries, passed on the dessert, and another order of nachos (their cheese is just so good). Anyway, I get my order, and I got two tacos, both with no lettuce but one is a hard shell, and one is soft. Also, my second order of nachos is missing. I bring it to the girl who is working in the back's attention. Instead of saying something like sorry I'll fix it for you, she blames the girl on the counter and tells her that she rang it in wrong (I don't care who made the mistake, just as long as it's fixed). The next part bothered me. I was asking about my missing nachos and the woman who took my order, said I didn't order them, and I only ordered extra cheese. I said no, I ordered an extra nachos and cheese. She continues to argue with me and says no I didn't I only ordered extra cheese. I understand that the customer is not always right, but I know what I ordered and shouldn't have the woman behind the counter argue about it with me. read more

There's this girl who works here. She has the prettiest brown eyes, warmest smile and beautiful Hershey's Kisses skin. I don't usually eat Taco Bell because it upsets my stomach but I would eat it everytime if that meant I could see her. I love when she asks me "hi there, what can I get for you" because I can tell she put on her white voice for me. And also "mild, hot or fire sauce?" is just my favourite line from her. I think she's the spicest sauce of them all - and I like spicy. She's so bad, they need to take her off of drive-thru and put her on the damn menu. Mm mm. I wanna tell her she's Hot with a capital Holy Moly, but I'm afraid I'm not her type. All I can aim for right now is being her favourite customer. Best Taco Bell in the area, though the dining room needs some renovations. Staff is typically friendly. Speed of service can be slow, especially during dinner rush, they usually don't have enough people working per shift to keep everything up to par. If you're in the mood for tacos, and you're not in a rush, this is your best choice. Best times to go are mid-afternoon (between 2-4) and late evening (between 8-10). read more
