Surprisingly good! Pattie had nice crispy bits around the edges and bun was nice and soft. The special sauce brought a nice tangy balance. I am not gonna lie, I didn't expect much when I randomly walked in on a Tuesday night. Ventilation was so bad I was in there for about 5 minutes and came out smelling like the grill. Burger was solid tho! Proved me wrong.

Simple yet tasty burgers with a sublime secret sauce. Got a Rude Dude and a Rudy, and the burgers were juicy, grilled to perfection, with a springy bun. This location also has good sitting capacity, is clean and spacious, and has a washroom. Service is quick. Prices are good value. Rudy is definitely a great quick treat!

I have been spending more time along the Danforth as of late, mainly doing curbside pickup and takeout. As I was driving away with good lunch eats from Our Spot a couple of weeks ago, I looked over and saw Rudy. I have had Rudy on my bookmark list for a while. I had no idea that there was a location on the Danforth. I made a note of it and dropped by two Saturday afternoons ago. I ordered through Ritual. I got the following items: - Rudy cheeseburger - Poutine - Strawberry milkshake I ended up running a bit later than the expected pickup time. I couldn't find a parking spot on the Danforth. I ended up parking a street north and parallel to it. I then spent a few moments looking at Greenwood subway station, which is convenient if you are hoping on and off with your takeout. I love the green RUDY lettering on the store. I have been told that each Rudy location has a different colour scheme. This one is green. I walked in. There was one woman waiting for her food. I walked up to the counter after having snapped a few photos inside like the tourist that I am in my own hometown. The woman at the counter was so friendly. I mentioned my name and that I had a Ritual order. She had a bag ready for me. She was looking for my milkshake next. She fetched it from the fridge. I love that she made sure that it was cold while waiting for me to drop by. It was such a nice touch! I thanked her. She wished me a great day. I reciprocated and walked out with my food. I ate in my car. Parking on this side street is for an hour. I still don't know the name of this street. Google Maps does not want to reveal what the street name is for some reason. Weird. I may need to pull it up on my old Garmin GPS at this rate. A man living in his house across from where I had parked was getting some exercise. He must have been in his eighties and didn't mind seeing me devour my lunch. I accidentally knocked over my strawberry milkshake onto the passenger seat. I am klutzy, but am not consistent! Only two drops trickled onto it. Luckily, the upholstery has been treated, so any liquid just wipes off. I was relieved. It also shows how thick and cold the milkshake was. My strawberry milkshake was awesome. It was creamy and tasted fresh. It only came in one size. I wish that it had a larger version. I'd inhale that, too. The Rudy cheeseburger was awesome! There were crispy edges around the patty. Yet, it was flavourful and juicy. I loved the curly lettuce. The cheese was melty. The tomato slice was so fresh, too. I got my cheeseburger tattooed, which means that I asked for bacon. It's extra. So am I. Delicious! It was a pure delight having it in this burger because pork fat always rules. The bun was soft. I was so glad that it came in a paper pouch. Otherwise, this burger would have landed on my lap as I enjoyed eating it. I wasn't sure how large the Rudy cheeseburger or the poutine would be. Now that I know, I would order the Rude Dude (double Rudy cheeseburger) next time. It's important to set goals in life. The poutine. I have heard rave reviews about it. Montrealers feel at home eating it. They can't be wrong. They aren't. The poutine is excellent. It's the perfect combination of creamy, crispy fries, flavourful gravy, and huge cheese curds. I tend to like more gravy than what was given to me. However, there was enough to coat most of my fries. It came in a small aluminum container, which is perfect as a side. If you want more, there's a large size. I was so happy to have finally crossed Rudy off my list of burger joints to visit. I love a good burger. I have found it here, along with a yummy milkshake and poutine. It would be great if there were one closer to Markham, but I'm perfectly fine coming down here for my burger fix and more. (37)

Support them. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are great and they have a great little take out window. Very smart and safe!

The chicken burger is truly disappointing the size is as a slice burger, the chicken was cold and was more crusts bread than chicken. The burger was . It's one start because. Can not make 0 stars. Not recommended at all. I usually order in Rudy in college, this time I ordered through Ritual. The pick up was ok but the burger a totally disasters

This place is fantastic! We had heard about it from our neighbor, out first foray was some take out poutine it was good enough to encourage a closer look. The menu is small but everything we tried was excellent. When we went back we shared a rudy burger with bacon (patty was on the small side but very fresh and tasty, super fresh bun, slightly sweet like challah) chicken sandwich which was so tender and juicy can not possibly be frozen or mass produced, served with hot sauce and ranch on the side. Poutine was even better when we dined in an also tried the fried pickled which were really fun!

This was my second time at a Rudy's location, this one happened to be in the neighborhood I grew up. I got the double cheese burger with fries. The burger was grilled really nicely, the famous Rudy sauce complimented it so well, along with the tomato, lettuce & cheese of course. The fries were okay, definitely better when hot & fresh. Would I be a regular here? No but I would eat here once in a while. Still a great experience overall.

This review is based on one cheeseburger. It is a step above McDonald's and certainly not in the gourmet Burger class. Flat thin burger with nothing special that would bring me back. Also the ketchup packets need to be opend with scissors.

Love having Rudy in the neighborhood! Best burgers in the city - we go at least once a week! Poutine is really good too.

This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

It blends a traditional Italian deli style with a modern downtown vibe and is known for fresh panini made with quality meats and ingredients, many imported from Italy. The combination of fresh bread, curated deli meats, and flavorful sauces gives each sandwich a really nice touch. I was intrigued when I heard that another Italian cafe/sandwich shop opened near the Annex/Harbord Village. They have a variety of panini style sandwiches with a fridge/freezer of imported items such as frozen meals, meats, dried and spreads, sauces, cake slices and gelato! All the sandwiches sound delicious! Hard to choose! I went with the Alla Romana $16 (Prosciutto from Abruzzo Italy, Semi-dried cherry tomatoes, Balsamic glaze, Fior di Latte). The bread was crusty & warm - all quality ingredients!! The prosciutto & other topping were plentiful. Great flavours. Fresh! You can tell it was made with care. I was surprised at how big the sandwich was. It was cut in two & placed in a take away container which travelled well. The sandwich was still intact and perfect when I got home. The bread has a good crust but was soft inside to be a good compliment for the filling! I did get a piece of tiramisu & a small single serve cup of gelato from the fridge/freezer to be tried later!! I am a big fan of sandwiches with quality great & quality filling and this checks off the boxes. Staff was friendly and the sandwich is a good value given the top quality ingredients.
