Clearly experienced waitress was apologetic about the long wait when finally serving my lunch, but having waitressed for many of my earlier years, I would've liked to have heard that there was going to be a long wait when I sat down (she said unexpected busy Labor Day weekend); I would've liked the option to have opted out, as I was traveling and was looking for a quick meal break (just my opinion, but it's far better to lay out timing expectations from the onset so people can decide if they have the time to wait [then to apologize for them after the fact, when people are already frustrated and wondering why the wait felt unreasonable]). The beans were good, and had a sweeter flavor like I like. The rice was cooked well and did not have any undercooked crunchy bits. I would surely return again when I'm in the area.

I've personally tried the regular flour, whole wheat flour, yellow corn, cilantro/jalapeno corn, avocado corn, blueberry/cinnamon flour and banana/pineapple flour tortillas. I'll say this about La Tortilla Factory tortillas - we cannot keep enough of them in the house. Mass-produced grocery story tortillas are a thing of the past for us, now. Customer service has always been friendly (especially the liberal sample tortillas). If you driving through Winnemucca - this is a must stop.
