Adobada [Spicy Pork] Tacos.
Shanel B.

My husband orders tacos from here pretty regularly. It is his favorite tacos in town. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try their tacos. They are delicious. I look forward to trying more their menu has in store. I ordered 20 tacos to go, and my order was out quick. The ladies working were kind, patient, and helpful. There is a lot more space inside than I expected. I am sure they get busy and they can accommodate big crowds.

The food here is awesome. I'm not sure how they get such tasty and fresh fish and shrimp to this part of the country miles away from the coast or any big city! The shrimp aguachile, ceviche tostadas, and fish tacos are all fresh and tasty. Super authentic!! It could've been 5 stars for me but I knocked a star off because they were not up front at all about the price changes. There is a small printout on each table that's easily missed that says that the prices in the menu may not be correct and have rose due to inflation. It's understandable but there was no warning for any of the items and when we asked for a small cup of salsa for the chips, we found out that that cost $3 per cup. The shrimp aguachile says $14.95 on the menu for a small but we were charged $19.95 (the price of the large) and some other items increased as well. It would help if they were just a little more up front about the price changes so that it avoids an awkwardness when the bill comes.

When the owner is not there, the servers are incredibly rude. All done, so tired of crappy service!

We regularly drive between the Bay Area and Utah and Winnemucca is halfway between them…read more Chihuahua's has become a little home away from home for us. We can always count on its friendly service, reliable Mexican-American food and warm atmosphere. Today I had to make the drive solo for a family emergency and it was a very comforting place to be eating by myself in a somewhat sombre moment. As far as food goes, I often order the chicken flautas or the ground beef chimichanga, which is a filling portion size without making you feel like overeating. Today I tried the shredded beef enchiladas, which were recommended by the server. Both the red and green enchilada sauce were great and the beef was very flavorful. Thank you, Chihuahua's, for always making out of towners feel welcome!

Well dang. We had another Granddaughter's wedding to go to in Eagle, ID so as usual we stopped here…read morefor lunch as our half way there spot. This time it was not as good as the last time. The waitress didn't bring chips and salsa until we asked for it. Ehhh. The chips were stale. Must be bulk Costco chips. Nope! My daughter ordered a Michelada. She asked if they had Chamoy and Tajin? They did. The waitress must of misunderstood her as she wanted the rim with Chamoy and Tajin. She had it put in the actual drink. My grandson ordered chicken nuggets and fries off the child's menu. He must not of liked it as he didn't eat very much. He is super picky though. I had the same thing as last time. Surf and Turf. I enjoyed my meal. My daughter's mom got enchiladas again and she liked it too. They both did NOT like the rice which was unfortunate as they ordered double rice with their meal. I will still stop here on any future trips to Idaho. 3*
