It wasn't hot. It was lukewarm. The flavors were okay. How in the world does this place have any positive ratings. Driving through Nevada and made the mistake of judging this book by its deceiving cover. Sat down so excited. So innocent. So clueless. I ordered quite possibly the safest thing to order anywhere of all time, a pepperoni pizza. 20 minutes later I'm face to face with a steaming silver platter of Walmart backstock frozen pizza. I gulped audibly. Then went on with consumption. Monumental mistake. The nanosecond this stiff molten triangle of ass made contact with the roof of my mouth I was met with ringing ears and blurry vision. This "perfect pepperoni" pizza was heated to 200 kelvin and served to me without warning. The waitress even smiled at me knowing the anguish I was moments away from enduring. Needless to say I still finished the pizza more on that at the end. My friend ordered a salad. Sit now and imagine messing up a salad. After 25 minutes adam is served a brick of untossed, uncut lettuce. With a fork and knife folks. What are we doing? He politely asked for no blue cheese as well. Fair play. Draped generously atop this lettuce football is blue cheese. To make matters worse a full big ass cup of blue cheese was placed on the side like my friend adam here is some kind of joke. Since you're asking, the pizza was ass 1/10. I think there is a lesson to be learned here, good things come to those who wait unless you come to winnemucca pizzeria off exit 178. If one day the ghost of hungers past wakes you in your sleep and convinces to set foot inside of this "restaurant", you may be delighted to see the roof of my mouth burned into the tile floor in the back left corner. The pizzeria is adorable. It is also extremely noisy. I love the outdoor area when weather permits. And if you have a pup, they are okay on patio Service is prompt and friendly. Kitchen can be brutally slow but has been better on last few visits. I like their pizza crust, thin and crispy. Toppings are sometime pretty scarce given the upscale prices. I like the salad served on a pizza crust, one of my favorites. I also like the garlic knots but think they would be improved with a little salt. Color me picky. I've yet to have a calzone that was cooked through here, so unless you like raw dough, avoid them. I'm also not a fan of the spaghetti or manicotti, just blah. But, if you want a pretty good selection of suds (I say pretty good because even after asking multiple times they haven't added Guinness) and good, hot fresh pizza. This place is right off the main strip! It has outdoor seating with heat lamps as well as a cute inside with a bar. We ordered to go the combo pizza, the cheese pizza and a pepperoni pineapple pizza. We ordered a small of the combo which ended up making the pizza a little too well done but the medium pizza was cooked perfectly. They also let you do half and half pizza as long as it's the same sauce. The crust in crispy/crunchy which isn't my favorite kind but is for some people and was still good. They offer, Parmesan, red peppers, jalapeño, marinara and ranch for free with your pizza too so that was great. read more

Pizza was pretty good have ordered more than once can sometimes be a hit or miss with the flop on the crust... make sure they read your order back if you ever place over the phone. Service was okay looks like they only care to speak to or carry conversation with regulars. Which is kind of sad cause this is not a bar and grill it's a "Pizzerria" the ambiance was that of a speakeasy versus a restaurant. If you're looking for a pie and don't wanna nationwide chain this is the spot. The garlic infused jalopeños were the bees knees, tho. Totally makes up for the crusts hit or miss! read more

Their website clearly states they are open until 9:00 PM. We arrived at 8:00 PM and were told they were already closed. I even showed the staff the hours posted on their own website, and they didn't seem to care. If hours have changed, they need to be updated everywhere, especially on the business's actual website. A classy hometown place to get pizza. We came here in 2022 during Run-A-Mucca weekend, and it was hopping with a live band and a packed house. The most recent time we visited, it was a chill Friday night. The staff treated us well even though we arrived at 8:35 pm when they were closing at 9 pm and didn't rush us. The pizza is delicious, and there are lots of pizza-adjacent options like calzones and other Italian entrees like cannelloni. Full bar, and they advertise themselves as a wine bar, which is why I think the vibe feels classy to me. Plentiful parking. Four stars because when we came in 2022, it took a long time for our pizza to arrive. Our most recent visit in 2023, it also took a long time, but that's because the cook put our pizza in a to-go box from the start, and our server didn't register that it was OUR pizza (because we were dining in, but very close to closing time). read more

Details: This was the strangest and worst customer service I have ever had at any restaurant, anywhere (and I'm 43 years old). We're from California, and we were in Winnemucca on Saturday 10/14/23 for the solar eclipse. Despite the extra tourists in town, this pizzeria was not busy at all. We arrived at 12:39 PM, and there were only two (later four) other small groups dining there, in a restaurant that could seat at least 100. Three waitresses were on staff at the time. So we were optimistic that we would get our hungry kids fed and then get to our next destination. We sat outside. Our waitress, a 20-something woman with a light complexion and dark hair, had to take our food order three times because she kept forgetting it. That was a little odd. She said she was not having a good day. At 1:23, 45 minutes after we arrived, not even our appetizers (garlic knots and bruschetta) had shown up. I went to find our waitress and politely asked when we might expect our food to be coming out. She replied, rather curtly, that it was normal for orders to take "20-30 minutes." "It has been a little longer than that," I said. "No it hasn't," she said. OK, geez. In the meantime, our waitress brought us refills of all our huge sodas without asking us. I assume she was trying to be generous, but I didn't actually *want* my kids each drinking TWO giant lemonades and TWO cokes and so on. So I said "Oh, no thank you, we don't need refills." "But you asked for them," she said. "I don't believe so; it must have been a misunderstanding," I said. "Yes you did," she said, and left. A little later, another member of our party overheard one of the staff saying something about a problem with the oven that was slowing things down. However, the staff didn't proactively tell us that, or even admit it. We just overheard it when we were on the way to the restroom. Finally, after over an hour, we got our food. The waitress plonked it down without saying anything (not even "Here you go,") and left as quickly as possible. She then avoided us, not stopping by to ask how it was or if we needed anything. Once again, the restaurant was NOT busy - only four other tables were occupied, and there were two other servers. The food was fine, nothing special. (Don't order the bruschetta; it is pretty much just a giant pile of raw onions on top of a pizza crust.) The garlic knots were nice but very small, about golf-ball sized. The pizza toppings were unevenly distributed, and everything was too salty. Oh well, whatever! It was good enough, I guess. 2.5/5 stars for the food. My kids were very excited to order the "Cookie Monster" ice cream sandwich, so when I FINALLY glimpsed our waitress again (who had been avoiding us like the plague), I called out "Oh hello, excuse me! Could we order dessert?" Instead of responding, she started walking away faster. "Excuse me," I called one more time, hoping to catch her before she disappeared. She spun on her heel, walked up to our table, and said "I'm going to have to ask you all to leave. You have been very rude. I'll comp your meals, but you just need to go. Now." Then she left without further explanation. My brother and I were flabbergasted. Nothing like this had ever happened to us before. The kids were just being regular kids, not overly loud or messy. My only crimes seemed to be asking when our food was going to be ready (after 45 minutes) and asking to order dessert (after 90 minutes). At a loss for what to do, I asked one of the other waitresses if I could have a second opinion. She (a young teenager) wasn't sure what to say, so she got the third and final waitress, a blond 30-ish woman. This waitress explained that the three of them were running the restaurant alone today, with the manager out of town, so there was no one else to talk to. "I feel really bad about leaving without paying," I said. "I truly don't understand why your colleague asked us to leave. Can I at least leave a tip or something?" Waitress 3 was just as baffled as I was, so I left all the cash that I had (a couple of $20s) as a "tip," and we departed without paying our actual bill. Well, it was a... memorable experience. But this is not a well-run restaurant, and I will never ever be going back here again (at least not until I hear it is under new management). read more

We didn't make a big deal and asked our waitress if we could switch out lemonade for something different and her response was so rude. Other than that was an ok place. I ordered 17 pizzas and said we will be there at 630pm. As we got there at 630 the pizza was ready and my players were completely happy with the pizza.
