Every thing the food, the service, the cleanliness, all could use some vast amounts of improvement.just one example a lady didn't know that they removed the trash can to empty it, dropped her and her husband's trash down the hole. I'd say this place is pretty similar to a Taco Bell. Some decent quick tacos/burrito/quesadilla. However, taco bueno has some good salsa that has a bit of a kick! I also like that taco bueno has fresh made guac. The service was good and the staff was friendly! read more

Yes please! Best crispy beef tacos in town! For a fast food chain, Bueno is really good! Service is usually terrible. Dining area isn't always the cleanest, but their pico de gallo crushes any that even the fanciest Mexican restaurants have to offer! Great prices. Great menu options. Went to our local location after church. Went to the drive through. The employee repeated my order back to me at least 3 times. It was perfect. I normally check to make sure before I drive off but I thought it should be good. Get home, nope, missing an item. No salsa or dressing for the taco salad. This place should be closed down. Like yuck. The wait was long for me to even place an order and the folks around me were frustrated about waiting to get their food. You can see the staff cooking or shall I say "preparing" the orders and it doesn't look appetizing. I was starving and I pretty much only ate the taco shell. There were tons of people there and the drive thru was off the richter/ filled with cars. Clearly some people love this stuff, just not I. Two stars is pretty generous considering the state of this locations customer service. Open kitchen, 5 employees in it, but only one person doing ANYTHING at all. Waiting twenty five minutes for two platters and an order of nachos. While here, ten minutes into the wait a couple actually got a refund and abandoned ship. Voted best fast food Tex Mex in America. Over the years Muskogee's has been great, and at times dirty and slow, and now just average. Like most places if management does not hire great shift leaders and GM does not lead from the top and by example then service and food quality suffer. Wish previous good managers and crew were back. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I'm not one to write a bad review or restaurants, but this is a must. I walk in with two other people and get asked if it was for here or to go. We said for here, he rolled his eyes and sighed. He then yells back to the kitchen that he has to clean another tray, make that two trays with another eye roll. He then threw a tray on the floor and kicked it behind the line. He came back up to take our order. He took mine first, I received my food and took it to the table. I finished my food, then went u and asked the two people I was with what they ordered because it was taking a long time. They said that they haven't even ordered yet. The cashier stood there folding boxes looking at them. He finally asked if they had their order taken yet? He was the only cashier and they were with me when we received the eye roll. When he took their order, my friend had looked at her dad and asked if he wanted beef or chicken. The cashier with a rude tone said that he already put him down for beef. She told him that he could change it. After they finally got their food half of her rice was raw. We sat at the back of the restaurant and an elderly man went up to the cashier, all of a sudden we here him yell beef or chicken in a hateful voice. That's about the service. Now about the place, it was absolutely disgusting. The line where the food is was trashed. The drink and sauce station had mold in the drains. The white lever that you pull to get water had mold on it also. We got the only clean table. There was only two other tables in there. I wondered if there was a manager there. My friend went up and asked to talk to the manager. He was the guy on the line making the food. He could see and hear everything. We told him only about the service and not the mold. He said that he will take care of it that he doesn't tolerate that. My question is, why did he tolerate it then? I decided to try calling corporate. I called every number I could possibly find with them. They all led me to the same two extensions where it was to just leave a message. I thought that was BS. I did get sick the next day, I'm not saying that it was food poisoning but it wasn't the flu. Cleanliness is a huge priority for restaurants. There's always time to clean. read more

ordered the new 'ultimate chipotle crispy beef taco' an hour ago. what i got wouldn't have passed for the regular crispy beef taco. when i asked about it, the girl on the line told me it had indeed been made correctly. i didnt have my phone so i couldnt take a pic of it, but believe me when i say 'i wuz robbed'. and she didnt seemed to care. i could barely find the cheese sauce ferfukksake. it looked NOTHING like the photo on the menu board. so the take away is, at least for the taco bueno in muskogee, during the lunch shift, don't order ANY of the 'ultimate tacos'. they're being made wrong and nobody seems to care. and one more thing while i'm at it. if you see a stack of 'wholelottaboxes' sitting on the counter, turn around and find someplace else to eat. the muskogee taco bueno seems to value 'box' customers to dining room customers. you'll wait behind those customers for your eat-in order, and the wait can be excessive. indeed, they already think the drive-in customers are the most important anyway. read more
