Well today was an absolute first. My family and I generally love eating here, but today we was highly disappointed. We arrived there was a total of 14 people in there when we arrived, it took about 10 min to be seated, we sat there for 35 min was acknowledged by the waitress 30 min into the 35 total we was there, never got menus, or drinks a couple walked in 2 min before we decided to just leave and was seated had menus and drinks, I never do this but I am highly disappointed in tonight's experience! The chicken puffy tacos are the bomb. The chicken was shredded so finely. The puffy taco was perfection and not greasy tasting.

My mom and I went here the other night. I decided to try something new the shrimp enchiladas and they were OK but not great. I did not love the sour cream sauce they put on top. The rice had no flavor at all. I love Mexican rice but this had no taste no vegetables it was not good. The chips and salsa was OK but the salsa had no seasoning. It was just tomato. I wanted to order a drink, but they were severely overpriced and had no happy hour or specials. I don't think I will be returning here. read more

Had to send my dinner back, it was making me sick. Oil for days. Leaked into my rice and taco. I tried soaking it up with a napkin. That didn't work. Ground beef was dry and over cooked. Manager came over and it honestly felt "aggressive" about her questioning me on returning my meal. She started it off with " What is the problem, I heard you had a problem". 3.5 stars - The queso (white) and Tijuana's fajitas (grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, peppers, load with cheese on top) are AMAZING! The chips are delicious, and the staff works hard to refill drinks and chips immediately. The salsa was lacking serious flavor. I've been once when the salsa was good and the second time I could not eat it. They use margarita mix for all ritas which is a big negative. Using mix is so old school and killer on the stomach; need at least one agave/simple syrup option or something! Parking is ample, and we will be back for some good food and queso when we do not want drinks! read more

Very disappointed again. A few years ago was our go to place. But the last two trips we've been very dissatisfied. The favorites were the pork chili verde and the chili Colorado. Both of our dishes seemed different, like a recipe was changed. Flavor was changed to the point we might not come back. Service was good. Salsa not up to par. Beans had very little flavor. It has been quite a while since our first visit to Tijuana's Grill & Cantina. It appears that they have undergone some remodeling. Looks great! Clean and fresh. On this visit we had the Guiso Tapatio and the Enchilada Dinner. The Guiso Tapatio comes with either beef and chorizo, or chicken and chorizo, covered in their savory chile rojo sauce and cheese. It served with beans rice and guacamole. Chorizo is not a lean meat, and you really don't want to know what is in it, but add it to grilled chicken and Tijuana's chile rojo sauce and it makes for a wonderful meal. The chile rojo sauce is what I have been looking for. Excellent taste, and the flavors of the peppers they use is not hidden with other added spices. The two beef enchiladas my wife ordered were loaded with ground beef and topped off with a different chili sauce. Also, another great meal. Service very good. read more

My husband and I just moved from Dallas. We know wonderful Mexican food. This food is absolutely AMAZING!! It's so good! We order out take out from here all the time because they give you tons of chips and salsa included with your take out and the portions are really big. They give the best service. I was just at this restaurant the other night and while the food was pretty good I couldn't help but notice how rude and disrespectful the manager was to her server. She was constantly nagging at him and being an overall nuisance even though from my point of view it looked like he was doing a good job. We went with a friend to her and her husband's favorite Mexican and let me tell you, it may be our new favorite! Tijuana's is fun and the smells that hit you when you open the door...delicious! We had queso and guacamole. The queso is a white queso was good. Very mild. The guacamole was great! I ordered the create your own lunch with 2 enchiladas and a crispy beef taco. BEST TACO EVER! Enchiladas were yummy but the tacos I could eat my weight in! Rice and beans were quite good as well. My mom got the puffy tacos and they were so good! Right around the corner from the baseball tournament complex I was looking for a margarita and some delicious Mexican food! This place has it! We were seated promptly and chips and salsa kept flowing. Our beverages were topped off if they got low and overall everything was fast! The portion was huge and the food was delicious!. The chicken quesadilla was loaded with grilled onions and it was served with an avocado ranch that was decadent! I had the server special make my margarita...1/2 frozen half rocks...the best!!! We went after church today. It's a smaller floor plan but not overly loud. I wish that queso came with the salsa and chips (especially for the prices of the other items). The food and service at Tijuana's Grill & Cantina in Bixby is an outstanding restaurant. Their food was sensational (my doctor friend loved his shrimp dish) and I had a superb chicken and shrimp entree. Their white queso was excellent as an appetizer and supplemented the entrees well. The service was magnificently attentive by Pablo, and the owner Francisco hovered throughout his restaurant better than the King of Spain. Francisco has done a beautiful job with his interior, especially the furniture. The beautiful wooden chairs are extremely comfortable and the restaurant has televisions for sports minded clientele. On the recommendation of another reviewer I tried the Guiso Tapatio. Wow is all I can say, what a marvelous dish!!! I could only eat 1/2 of the large portion.
