Came here with my niece on a raining day, they had wet floor signs out, because the tiles were like a ice skating ring. Folks were slipping all over the dinner. they suck. I got nachos with everything on the side got home, which was 10 minutes away and there was no chips and no cheese.. I called them and they said oh sorry. Come back up here and you can get your stuff. I go back up there got my stuff and try to get a side of lettuce and they said it was 80 something cents and I tried paying with my card and they're like oh we don't accept a card for anything under a dollar. And I told him that they should just give me the lettuce for free since they messed up and I had to go back up there anyways and he's like I'm sorry we can't you have to pay OK I'll pay take my card but he wouldn't take my card. Put it this way, if you quiere taco bell, you will LOVE Taco Casa. I'll take it!! However, if you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant (menudo, etc), I'd prepare for a let down. Their tacos have more meat and seem to be better quality than Taco Bell. The burrito I didn't enjoy as much but it's pretty standard. This is a typical fast food joint with GIGANTIC soda cups and people looking for a cheap meal. I probably won't come here regularly as the regulars look to be about 19 and on the verge of a heart, diabetes, and more imminently, stretching out their mesh tops and making larger holes than the existing ones as they request soda refills in their gallon cups. So, we are pretty much a Taco Casa aficionados. Any town we visit that has a TC we will stop. This particular TC has been a let down. Unless al TC's have changed their serving spoons this place has small spoons - meaning they are not as generous with the ground beef as other TC's we have been to. We had the Super Nachos and there was nothing super about it. Not enough ground beef nor cheese to make this $7.29 a decent meal. Went through the drive through at 10 PM, pulled up to the speaker and the employee did not say anything. So I say "hello?" And am still not acknowledged. After a while the employees says "I said give me one second" so I sit there and after a few moments he lets me order. I order 2 simple items and as I'm saying my second item he interrupts me and asks me if I want cheese. Okay, not a big deal, but It's not that hard to wait to ask. I pull up to the window and wait for 5+ minutes before the cashier "Ernest" (says on receipt), finally opens the drive thru window and takes my payment. I wait another 5 minutes for my food to be ready. (2 items). Taco Casa doesn't even have a survey code or website on their receipts, so that they can address their customer service issues internally. My son and I eat there a few times a month. The bean burritos are delicious. The tacos are amazing! I get the Super salad on occasion and it's very, very good. The employees are always wonderful, and of course I have my favorites that work up there. The owners are some of the nicest folks I have ever met. Hands down better than Taco Bell and Taco Mayo. On Monday evening after all my labor day company left and I got a nap, I wanted some food from Taco Casa. It as 8:30pm. I checked their website and found that it shows to close at 10pm. I arrived in drive thru at 8:55pm. There was one car in front of me. I'm not sure if they were able to order from the speaker or not as I did not hear anything. After a few minutes, the car pulled up to the window and got their order. I pulled up to the menu board/speaker. No one answered. I pulled to the window and the manager on duty stated they were closed and that they closed at 9pm. I stated the website says 10pm. Then she turned to be rude, raised her voice and said that hadn't been updated and that they have to close because "we have kids that need to go to school". Well then why does all other locations and other fast food restaurants not do the same? Guess what - this is a service industry that is expected to follow posted hours and give excellent service to everyone. Not to make their own rules and be rude to customers no matter what the issue is. This is not how to run a business. I filed a complaint on the Taco Casa website. The next morning, the area supervisor called. She agreed with me that stores should not have special privileges to close early because they hire kids that go to school. Every fast food restaurant does this and they follow the hours that they need to be open given to them by their corporate offices. The supervisor asked me to stop in an pick up some coupons. I did so. When I arrived I noticed that the posted hours for being opened had been altered on the door to reflect the closing at 9pm instead of 10pm. I picked up my coupons and asked what the actual hours of this location was. She stated they close at 9pm due to low volume. Well - changing of the stories now. In my opinion, she doesn't want to cause conflict as she is younger than the mangers she supervises. Again, I am not happy with this situation nor am I happy about the resolution (or lack thereof). Today (the next day), I noticed that the website now no longer shows when the store is open except that they are open. Their Facebook page still shows open until 10pm. As you can tell, I'm not happy about what transpired, how management was rude to me, how the supervisor won't fix the issue except to hand me a stack of $1 "Taco Buck" that I assume I can only use 1 at a time. Granted this is a small town and we have limited places to get prepared food, but please be open when you should be open. Not following this causes loss of trust and loss of business. read more

While visiting family for Thanksgiving, I was introduced to Taco Casa. Oh my! Naturally, I had to make a return trip. The tacos are a crispy shell with cheese, lettuce, and meat (that is a little greasy, but totally worth it). Burritos are huge. I opted for the super burrito today which was stuffed with fillings, but a little mushy overall. Now, the most important thing you cannot forget is their Taco Casa hot sauce.
