Great food and the service we got was outstanding; they're more than happy to cater to allergies (Gluten/dairy) and all dishes are made to order so you really taste the freshness. We got the fresh fish taco, steak taco and pork taco and they were all outstanding! Steak was cooked perfectly, as was the fish and the pork didn't have day old pork taste, it was great! I went to Taco Dive on a Monday evening for dinner. They were really busy and seemed to be understaffed a little. I wait 10 minutes before being asked what I want d to order and 30 mins for the couple of tacos I order, but let's be honest we do go to places for the service we go for the food. The food was amazing! I had chips and salsa and you can tell the salsa is made in house and the tacos were great to. All this food was very affordable which was a plus. Taco Dive is a GEM in Vero Beach. This is our Friday night dinner spot! The food and service is amazing. Danielle is usually our server and is just as amazing as the location and food. She provides you with excellent service as if you were family. Since this location was closed for the major part of the shut down due to COVID we drove to the Ft Pierce location on night, same...did not disappoint and much to our surprise Danielle was our server. After catching up and hearing about the Vero location remodel while enjoying a great meal we were excited to hear they would be reopening. We went that Friday night they were open and when we asked for Danielle we were told she was still in the Ft. Pierce location. We still enjoyed our amazing food, pork bowl, shrimp taco and loaded tots were on the menu for us. Times are hard right now and having a server that is great at their job and willing to follow all the COVID measures is hard to come by. So in looking for some normalcy again, please send Danielle back to the VERO location, permanently. Finding a restaurant with a staff member that loves her job is hard to find and you have one. It was my First time EVER going to a Taco spot. I really didn't know what to expect but let me tell you something, DELICIOUS is an understatement. I ordered and still order to this day the chicken taco, Cajun shrimp taco and the steak taco. They are all seasoned beautifully and are fully loaded in the soft shell. The smell baths the atmosphere when it's being made which gets your taste buds GOIN'. Dining- in is nice with the option of the outdoor seating area. Servers there are very welcoming and kind. Stumbled upon this place while waiting for a family member to finish shopping. Ordered the beef tenderloin taco with some apprehension because 9 out of 10 taco places cut corners on the meat. Not Taco Dive! The meat was as soft and buttery as if it had come from a five-star steakhouse. It was also perfectly spiced. The cilantro "dive" sauce added a nice kick and I found myself mopping up slaw with the tortilla after the beef was gone. That's how great it was. We were craving tacos and this just didn't do it for us. We started with queso, which we thought was ok but the salsa was super large chunks and had way too much onion in it. The beef taco was far too over cooked, as was the pork taco. We believe and live that "low and slow" pork style. They said this pork was cooked 7hrs. It tasted as if it had been cooked for 2 days. Additionally, the pineapple didn't taste or look fresh...something I always look forward to on tacos. Then... there is the kids hotdog taco ‍ My kiddo has had a hotdog taco before. This was just blah. The tortilla was hard, the hotdog itself was tasty but then it just had sprinkle cheese that was half cold and half melted. There's nothing gourmet about that. The one he had in Orlando had some queso under the hotdog and some fresco crumbles on top. He thought it was amazing. He at the hotdog at Taco Dive and left the tortilla and rice, as he thought both tasted bad. Sadly, he was right. The place itself is cute and quaint. The server was nice and prompt. WARM BEER. I ate at the Vero Beach Taco Dive on March 6, 2020. I ordered 2 tacos (one shrimp and one beef)and a bottle of beer. The tacos were 4**** but the beer was warm.. I brought the issue of warm beer to the attention of the waitress and she replied an unresponsive "OK". My point is that beer and tacos go together and the owner of the Taco Dives' lack of attention to having cold beer to be served with his product and not having a responsive staff detracts from jts product. I was hesitant because everyone was saying how pricey it was, but I regularly get 2 tacos, and a side of chips and queso, at a reasonable 14 dollars..I think that's pretty average. The tacos are made with fun ingredients that are fresh, so I don't mind paying the money. Everyone is always really nice when I come here, and I'm always extremely pleased with my food!
