Great food, Great drinks, Large portions, Good atmosphere! Food and drinks are consistently very good!

On the treasure coast there are not a lot of Mexican food restaurants, at least not big ones with lots of dining plus cocktails. Enter Casa Amigos! They have 3 that I am aware of, I have eaten at 2, and they are very consistent for sure. They have a proprietary cheese sauce they use on many items, I'm not a fan however many people are! I have it put in the side or not at all. They have a shrimp chimichanga that is fire! Being from the southwest where MexiAmerican restaurants are abundant, Casa Amigos will do here in Florida. We went here for the first time the other night. I like the location and the ambiance in the restaurant. It was Friday, there was no wait and we sat in yhe bar. Our server was there very quickly, and immediately brought water which I very much appreciate. Throughout our meal he checked on us regularly. The food was good. I had salmon with a pineapple salsa it was very good, and my husband liked his as well. I'd rather have Mexican rice but they only offer white and yellow. I had a really good experience here. The portions are massive -- like I literally ate off my plate for three days. Great for leftovers, but honestly I would've preferred the option for a smaller, cheaper serving. Outside of that everything was solid. The food tasted fresh, the flavors were good, and the elote was one of my favorites. The tacos were super loaded and flavorful, and my drink was cute and tasty. Service was friendly and the vibe inside was nice for a casual dinner. Overall, good spot with huge portions and good food. I'd love to come back and try them out during happy hour as well, great little spot for right outside of the mall. This location was the TGI Fridays my whole life when i was growing up so it's nice that it was replaced by something fun. read more

We went to casamigos for tacos and margaritas because they offer happy hour on Sundays. When we got there, we were told that they were not going to honor happy hour due to Father's Day. This seemed strange because what father would not enjoy a half-price margarita? Well we indicated to them that the sign on their door clearly advertised happy hour on Sunday. They refuse to give us happy hour prices so we left. I don't know if we'll ever go back. read more

When this restaurant opened, I was really hoping it would be the best Mexican food in Vero Beach however, for me, it turned out to be the worst. There was absolutely nothing good about the food and I was really upset all the way home for wasting my money. I didn't eat the food so the waitress asked me if I wanted to go box and I didn't want to complain to her about how awful the food was so I said sure so as soon as I got home with it, I threw it in the trash. I should've known when I was there at the peak of lunchtime, and there were only two other customers in the entire restaurant. read more

The hostess was rude and not well organized. But, we waited patiently and eventually got seated within 30 minutes. Once seated we were very impressed by the staff, they were quick to bring us chips and salsa, the waitress took our order for appetizers and food and both were delivered fairly quick. We love this place, inside you can expect a vibrant atmosphere with a mariachi band for birthday celebrations. The service is always fast and friendly staff. We've tried many different dishes but these are by far our favorite. The Chile Colorado and Birria Tacos. The Chile Colorado is such a unique dish with juicy meat and very close to authentic flavors. The Birra Tacos are excellent with that dip broth and the goat meat is so tender. And can't forget to mention those watermelon margaritas, they're so refreshing and a nice cocktail treat! Definitely would recommend Casa Amigos for good food and decent portion sizes. read more

Our bartender was Jordie and it was amazing service! It was only 3:30pm on a weekday so the bar was not busy. My friend ordered a Cuervo margarita and I got a mezcal margarita. Ours was decorated with a real orchid. Hers was pink and mine was an electric cobalt blue color. My dad who recently passed away loved that blue color and so do I, so we felt it was a homage to him. We ordered tres tamales appetizers and queso dip which was plenty of food. The complimentary salsa is a bit spicy and so good. The queso was amazing. I ate a cheese tamale and it was very filling. It is a huge and impressive menu. Very artistic and colorful decor. Loved this place and will be back. read more

Had a very good lunch at Casa Amigos. The menu is huge - hard to decide what to get. We sat in a booth closer to the bar are and it was hot so if you need it to be cooler I suggest you sit on the other side. We enjoyed the table side guacamole being made. They make it to order so it was great. I like that the food is made fresh so if there is something you don't want in your burrito or enchilada you can let them know. Everyone enjoyed their meals as they were all wiped clean! We had an great waitress who was attentive. Maybe a bit too much with the compliments but I get it so it was cool. So it was our third trip to Casa Amigos. We'd just left Ruby Tuesday after having a terrible dining experience there. We'd canceled our order and left that smell hole (see my review of that place and do yourself a favor--NEVER GO TO RUBY TUESDAY IN VERO). As always, as soon as we walked in we were greeted enthusiastically by a smiling host. He lead us to a table where a lady brought chips and salsa right away. The place was busy, and CLEAN. It's always been clean. The chips and salsa, by the way, are great. The salsa must be made there. It's really good. Within 1 minute here comes our server, Julio. He gave a pleasant introduction, asking what we would like to drink. Two Diet Cokes, please. Those came quickly, and we ordered. Our orders came out quickly, on hot plates. Everything was hot and delicious. Julio checked on us a couple times (not too many), and brought us two more Diet Cokes in a timely fashion. This place pays attention to all the details. Hands down they have the best menu (appearance and selections) I've ever seen. And the menus are CLEAN. The place is always decorated according to the season and holidays. It's always clean. Three visits and no odor of old water and rags (many places clean their tables with that smelly water that has too much soap and leaves tables sticky, but not this place). Our server (all of them in fact) looked clean and presentable. He was well spoken and timely. Everything was so great we left a 50% tip. So it was a $25 tip. Not like at Ruby Tuesday (again, see my review and never go there!) where the "None" button is probably the most used option. If you're looking for a fun, easy feeling, clean, quick, delicious dining experience then this is your place. It costs more than McDonald's but it's also better food and a much better experience. March 20th, 2024 party of 3 early dinner $90+ Private parking lot, no wait, seated immediately. This place is always packed. We find that a lot of people don't have positive things to say about this venue however they are always packed and our visit was fantastic. We ordered 3 entrees, 2 sodas and street corn to share. A bit pricey between $18-$25 pp (early dinner pricing; maybe lunch specials are better) however you get a lot of food for both your dinner and left overs for later. The staff seemed slammed and possibly understaffed however pleasant, friendly, efficient but overall whatever the circumstances they were on top of their game. We found we had to wait a bit for beverage refills but nothing too crazy and we always have water at the table in case of instances such as these because we understand how the restaurant industry works with all the moving parts. Bravo to the chef, crew, wait and server staff, management and last but not least the hostess. We'll be back to try lunch. read more

Been to Casa Amigos 4 times let's start with the chips and salsa which is on a whole different level than any salsa I experienced in my 60 years. Leo has been the bartender 2 out of the 4 times we visited does a great job of making Manhattan's and getting our order in before it gets to busy at the bar. After a long stressful day at the hospital, a Margarita was just what we needed. There are about 15 different margaritas to choose from. We tried the Sangria, blueberry and berry berry margaritas. My favorite was the Berry Berry margarita- not to sweet. Our meal consisted of enchiladas verde. They hit the spot! My only feedback was that I wished there was a little more guacamole and more sauce on the enchiladas. We stopped again the next day at lunch and shared the chimichanga. It was also very good. This restaurant is located next to the theatre on the backside of the Indian River Mall in Vero Beach. I saw their menu online and thought this isn't your usual chain like menu. They have paella, altho i did not try that. The margaritas are so good. Some reviews noted made with a mix. The margarita menu is extensive. When made from mix, it is stated on menu. I had fajitas and it was generous, nicely spiced, large enough to bring some home for yet another meal. My son had a huge burrito which he enjoyed. My grandson cheese quesadilla and French fries. The server was readily available but not obtrusive. Food came quickly, even though inside the mall, across from theatre, it was not loud. Able to talk in normal tones and hear each other. 12/11/25 Had dinner last night at Casa Amigos & it was horrible. There were 6 of us & nobody's food was good, It was like the food was premade, pulled out of frig & barely heated. Enchiladas had red paste on them and cheese was solid hard. Adults ordered burritos but served kids burritos. They threw some lettuce on top of a burrito & charged us for it when the lettuce was included. We were also charged for a side of rice that was also included. The refried beans were orange,looked like pumpkin with no cheese. on them. I was so embarrassed for my guest. I will never go back. read more

This is the best restaurant in town and I'm a very critical person lol. Great quality food, service and I can't stress enough the food. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I just moved to vero beach and this was my first time there at this restaurant and one particular staff member I believe His name is -Jaime- made it a not so good experience for me. So first all the time I had was for a beer stop because the Mall was closing and I had an arcade to catch. When he found out that's the only thing I was getting his demeanor changed he started to be rough with his movement. Then a nice waitress comes to give me chips every customer gets it. She didn't speak English so another lady had to translate it I wanted it in a to go box the translator says yes okay but I NEVER received my to go chips. Then when it was time for the check Jaime threw the check down to me the pen went rolling on the bar. The customer nexts me looks at me like what the heck we were both in shock. I sign and no tip which I usually always tip I have 5+ years experience in customer service so bad service doesn't fly with me. Being the bigger person I am I let it go don't say anything and just slides it back in his direction on bar and leave the guy nexts to me says I don't blame you that was rude of him. So I'm not sure what was the motive behind jamie's anger but he should have stayed home that day if he didn't want to do his job correctly. In two words VERY GOOD! Me and my lady went here for lunch. The anticipation for this place has built for along time. It's difficult finding good non chain related restaurants in west Vero. Casa amigos fills a small void for good food out here. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. Since this review I've been there at least 6 times. Casa Amigos meets every desire as far as Mexican food goes. Portion size- outstanding and enough for another meal Price- comparable to el Rey and other enhanced Mexican restaurants in town. By enhanced I mean better quality, better presentation and better ambiance and cleanliness.Many Mexican restaurant in this town lack almost all these qualities. Overall I'm very impressed at the service and quality of this restaurant. I'll be glad to recommend casa amigos to anytime. read more

The treasure coast isn't exactly the most dense part of Florida, so when there's something / somewhere new in town, word gets around quick....and eastern Indian River County has definitely been buzzing about Casa Amigos. Part of me thinks that their location on the front patio retail space at Indian River Co mall is prime, especially since it's right next to the AMC Theatre. But the current state of malls and movie theaters also makes me wonder... In any case, there were more cars in the parking lot than I have ever seen there, even going back to when Fridays was still leasing the space; a perfect reference for my earlier point about the location, and the overall decline of malls and theatres. After one pleasant sunday afternoon visit though, I can enthusiastically say that I'm rooting for this place! - Festive decor and ambiance. If they don't already have some sort of live music for busy nights, I can see it as a future development - Massive, and I do mean massive menu, that simultaneously expresses the boldness, creativity, and authenticity of the ownership and chef. There must have been at least 75 food items ranging from full Mexican entrees, to Mexican Street, Mexican Seafood, burgerd, and just to be safe...vegetarian! There was of course a full bar and Margarita menu to match! - Good prices, perhaps one dollar sign more than most Mexican restaurants, but more than generous portions to make up for it, from what I saw. (They have to pay that lease afterall) - Friendly and knowledgeable staff...I dare say our bartender had a real Mexican accent when we spoke in Spanish. I'll have to ask next time.
