Recommended to us by another couple at Disney's Vero Beach, this location is down near the airport. We arrived around 6PM on a Friday and the place was already packed. The hostess saw us enter and told us she had seating at the bar by the chefs, out back, or on the wait-list. We chose to be seated by the chefs. They serve Coke products for their non-alcoholic drinks. The gentleman were having a great time singing and telling one another jokes while cooking. They talked to us too. They were down to their last two specials of the day and encouraged us to order them so they'd sell out. Fried chicken strips marinated in dill with taco fixing on a flour shell, as an appetizer it was amazing. Next, my husband ordered The Under Dog and the BLT Dive Style. He was already telling me we could return tomorrow for the next meal of the day, and both were finished before I could reply. I chose the Arugula Salad with blackened fish. Of their in-house made sauces, I chose the Chipotle Line sauce instead of the recommended Lemon Cilantro Aioli. I think next time I'll try the original sauce, but the salad was full of fresh ingredients and the fish was perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and kept our drinks refilled and kept checking to see if we wanted more. Great place! We'll definitely come back when we are down here. read more

I was here twice the food wasn't that special, you didn't get much for the price. The service was ok, not a whole lot going on. For the bulk of the visit it's basically a gimmick taco restaurant. You pay for the " local vibe " if you will. read more

First time guests based on recommendation from teammates. Our waiter, Tony, told us he would take good care of us and he wasn't wrong! Started with their trio: chips with queso, fresh guacamole, and fresh salsa. Delicious! Our party of four had drunken burritos (one chicken, one pork), and bowls (one chicken, one chicken and shrimp). He tempted us with churros, and turning it down was challenging, because wow was the food delicious! Fresh, fast, and despite being slammed with customers and under staffed, the service was flawless! Taco Dive ended up being really tasty. We ordered the Trio with fresh salsa, queso and guacamole. The guacamole was some of the best I've had, super fresh. Waiter let us know they only had two pieces of fish left so we both ordered the fish tacos. My dad and I also ordered the steak tacos. Personally liked the steak much better but I'm also obsessed with anything steak. Great flavor. They didn't have margaritas which was weird but I got sangria instead. The sangria was really good too. My son got the hot dog plain and it was not your average plain hot dog, it was split in half and grilled. He scarfed it down no complaints. Will definitely be back. read more

What a cute chill hangout vibe this place gave me. The service was knowledgeable about their non traditional tacos and gave great advice on the items on the menu. Ended up going with shrimp and steak tacos which were really flavorful. Also tried a pork burrito which was good but I think I prefer the tacos. Flavor was decent but just a bit greasy. Great place to people watch, filled with gluten free option. Basically any of the tacos and such can be made gluten free with the substitution of a corn tortilla instead of flour. That being said, I myself had a steak rice bowl which came with lettuce, tomato, cilantro sauce of some sort and of course steak. I added guac on the side, and it was delicious. Ah-maz-ing! I absolutely loved this fun little spot. The ambiance is great. I love the box spring parts that were turned into a chandelier. We started out with the trio appetizer. The hot salsa was amazing, the guacamole and queso got rave reviews from my kids. The homemade chips were also great! The tacos were so delicious. The flavor was amazing on both the steak and pork tacos that I ordered. My husband loved the fish taco the most that he ordered and my son loved the BLT taco. Our server was friendly and great. My dad and I stopped in because I wanted to try it. I had a fish taco, Dad had something like Pork or Beef. I had a draft beer (some stout) and Dad had a Heineken. $35. Gasp. TD's $8 or 9 fish taco was comparable with the $3 ones I get at Rubios, here in SoCal. It was good, but not $9 good, and just one taco. Presentation was snazzy. Albeit it in a styro tray. See photo. This is the place for excellent tacos although not authentic Mexican, but great variety and flavors. I get one taco on corn tortillas (the give you 2 corn tortillas) so I get 2! Great sauces too. The loaded tater tots are great too. Service is usually excellent. read more

Omg I am forever apologizing for not taking pictures and this is another pictures less review but had to write it. Came in with my son and aunt. We wanted to try a new place and so we helped read some reviews and decided to give it a go. It's a tiny place super cute and super busy everyone so charming and inviting. Our original server was Fawn who was great but got a little cold outside and so we decided to come inside not knowing we would lose her a bit of a bummer not to say our new server wasn't great Mari had recommendations and made sure we were well taken cared for, very pleasant. I ordered the shrimp taco a must order item. Shrimp was fresh and nothing short of amazing. I also ordered a ground beef drunken burrito it was just ok. My aunt ordered the same but with pork instead and she really liked it. My son ordered the steak and pork taco which was just ok. Our dinner was very nice and would definitely come again. read more

Best Tex-Mex in Vero! I'm vegetarian and taco dive has options for everyone! I got the taco bella as a rice and bean bowl ($4 additional charge to the original taco price). It's plenty of food! I even had enough to take home and have my left overs for lunch the following day. The waiter, Tony is always great when I come here and makes coming here such an awesome experience. You would think at 3pm in the afternoon this place would be at a lull but NO! It's not a large place. I'm guessing the inside seats about 30 at the tables and there's room for about 10 more at the bar areas. There are a few outside tables too. People were constantly coming in to eat or take out. All of the servers are friendly. We sat at the bar and the menu was explained to us. The tacos come on a 6 inch flour tortilla which you can swap out for a corn tortilla or a lettuce bibb. Or you can make it a bean and rice bowl. We started with the trio which is tortilla chips and small sides of queso guacamole, and salsa. You can choose mild, medium, and hot salsa. We went with medium. I decided to go away from the normal taco and ordered the fish special of the day which was grouper cheeks and a BLT taco that comes with a fried egg. They both were delicious. My boyfriend got the beef burrito which he devoured. I highly recommend this place and we are trying to figure it when we can go again this weekend. read more

The place is as it says, a hole in the wall (meaning small) but service and food were great. Had guacamole, beef and chicken tacos and all were flavorful and not skimpy on portions. We will be going back. read more
