They have pretty much everything you can imagine here to eat, from breakfast to dinner, including smoothies. The woman behind the register with the hijab was incredibly sweet and kind, and seems to be a friendly face to so many. She was striking convos with people that seem to be regulars. She made smoothies and even walked over and gave my bf and I the leftovers while we waited. What a kind gesture. It seems like a homey mom & pop ran type business, with an older gentleman on the grill. It was cozy in there and I love it. I would give them my money any day. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and you get to support their small business definitely coming back here when I'm in the area again!

You get two tender thighs and a drumstick, all seasoned and spiced perfectly. The long grain rice is delicious, and the portions are genuinely massive for the price. The side salad and vegetables balance everything out nicely so the meal doesn't feel heavy. They include three sauces on the side, but honestly the chicken is flavorful enough on its own that I haven't really needed them. When I went in person to pick up my order, the place was really clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. I also noticed they have desserts, so I'll definitely be trying those next time. I'd recommend ordering in person if you can -- you'll skip the extra Uber Eats fees and get the same great food for less. Hidden gem on Northern Blvd.

It is located on the first floor of a 3 family apt building with indoor patio dining. The interior is small with several tables. It has quite an extensive menu with so much to choose from. We ordered boneless chicken thighs and Korean pancake for appetizers which was very good. We each ordered entrees, some ramen, some rice bowls, and rice cake dishes. Again all very good. Portions were decent. They serve an assortment of drinks like bubble tea as well. There is only street parking. Service is friendly and efficient. Their Muslim clientele can enjoy Korean food since they are halal which is nice. Recommend!

While Modoo has been around for some time, I've never been able to make the trek... till now! And boy am I glad I did, because it lived up to the hype. The food was fresh and flavorful. My favorite was definitely the beef bulgogi ddukbukki, which was nicely balanced with meat, veggies, rice cake, and sauce. The udon was also very hearty on a cold day. The wings were fine, crispy but nothing special otherwise. I loved the yuzu sparkler I got with small bits of yuzu in the drink. Service and ambience were not the best: there was only one gal working the front, and it was quite packed in the restaurant, and the set up in the restaurant itself isn't anything fancy (think small, cozy space, with disposable utensils). Buuuut the food made up for it :)

We started with two appetizers, the calamari and dumplings, which were both delicious. My cousins ordered Pho, while I had the curry chicken, and everything was served promptly and tasted excellent. The menu isn't very extensive, but their signature dishes are well done. There are only a few tables available, and street meter parking is located outside. Take out was bustling. The owner provided outstanding customer servicr, attentive, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations. Plug also for shared dessert we had, black tea and Vietnamese coffee. All good. Will go again We enjoyed our meal so much that we ordered extra food to take home for our families. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out.

It's a small place with around six tables and three staff members (two in the kitchen and one taking orders, serving, bussing, and cleaning). Not the most glamorous vision of a restaurant, right? But the food is tasty! We had the summer rolls, peppered calamari, the signature pho, and the beef short-rib pho. The summer rolls and calamari were good, you could taste the freshness of the veggies and shrimp. I wish the calamari had been a bit crispier and seasoned with a touch more salt and pepper, but it was still very good. The real reason I'll be coming back is the pho broth. Some people might describe it as slightly sweet, but to me, it had a rich, balanced flavor. I'm not sure if the short rib is available all the time (it does have a lot of fat, as beef short rib often does), but it was flavorful. Definitely coming back to try more.

The space inside is pretty simple and minimalistic -- clean, modern, nothing overly fancy. It feels like the kind of place you pop into when you're craving a good burger without making a whole production out of dinner. They focus on smash burgers, so you get those crispy edges with a juicy center, which is always a win. Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. Nothing overcomplicated -- just a well-made burger, good flavor, and fresh ingredients. The kind of meal that feels satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it's a great casual stop in Bayside if you're near the train or just looking for a quick halal burger. Perfect for a laid-back weekday meal.

Actually checking out the inside it turns out it is a smashburger place that is reminiscent of the burgeoning 7th Street chain that is popping up everywhere. What I appreciate about this place is the menu has more options than 7th Street. Listening to my buddy Billy C who capitalized GARLIC MUSHROOM burger in his review made me intrigued, He was totally on the mark with this - I loved the pile of garlicky mushroom sitting on this burger. We paired this with the loaded fries which made a good shareable meal since we were not too hungry. Like 7th Street, Mexican coke is available if that is your thing. Other burger options include kimchi, jalapenos and fried egg in various configurations. Again like 7th Street, decor is unremarkable, but at least they have seating unlike most of the stand up tables in most 7th Streets Overall, this is a solid Bell Blvd option that should continue to thrive despite the dwindling bar/drinking culture that used to dominate this area.

You can add feta for a dollar and chili flakes for 25¢. $1 for extra white sauce or spicy sauce. I ordered the beef wrap $12.50. The wrap was a decent size not huge, the meat was dry and salty. We've visited a few times for their döner sandwiches. The pita pocket is not too bready, each sandwich has generous portions of meats and veggies. While the sandwich is tasty, we find the meats to be slightly over-salted. $12.99 ($14.14 with tax) for a sandwich of this size in this era of price inflation is a great value. We tried the honey baklava once, and found it skippable. While some counter-style seating is available, the restaurant is mainly geared towards take-out orders.
