This taco spot is definitely in my TOP 3! The portions are generous- plenty of meat, plenty of juicy lemons! Tortillas cooked just right and the meat is always delicious and well-seasoned. Great Tacos! . . . they better be because they take FOREVER to make them for you. I have timed them and yes 10 minutes. and when you are hungry its a long time to wait, and once you have tried them the wait seems longer and longer each time you order. My favorite part of the experience is the semi crunch to the slightly fried tortilla. They could be on the oily side but dang once you try one you will most likely try, try again and see you were right in coming. . this is the best roach coach in Merced. read more

They aren't as good as they used to be. I have been coming here for years, and I still like it, but it is not the same. They put too much rice in the burrito and it does not have enough flavor. They are constantly messing up my order. I order a veggie burrito every single time, and the price is never consistent. I don't know what they are doing differently, but I wish they went back to the way they used to be. read more

One star only because I have to give at least one to leave a review. I ordered 4 PLAIN carne Asada tacos and 2 carnitas. I waited about 20 mins for my order only for the 4 tacos to not be plain. I told them I wanted them plain and I waited about 40 MINUTES for them! They even gave 2 people that came AFTER me they're orders! I think the girl put my order on the bottom so that it would take long on purpose I don't know. I do not recommend it at all unless you have time to waste. Those women shouldn't even be owning a business. One hour for 6 tacos. read more

This is my Favorite taco truck in Merced! Recommend everyone to try it at least once. It's good on any day rain or shine.

I really liked the tacos here and it's a short walk away from my work place so it was perfect....but I recently went and they had the rudest customer service ever!!! I was on the phone telling my boyfriend how bad I felt because I was sick and right when I hung up the call to order, the lady taking my order skipped right over me and said she wasnt going to take my order because I was on my phone!!! I was so upset because I spent 15 minutes of my half hour lunch there. She literally yelled it to me and I had to go across the street and had only 5 minutes to eat my lunch. Right outside Smart and Final, there's a great truck which serves superb tacos Al Pastor. To be Frank that's all I'll eat on a hot summer day, because anything raw., ( Chicken...carne asada) can present pathogens...big time, so I tend to avoid those entries this time of year. Stick to carnitas and pastor or any other meat that's been braised or slow cooked for hours. I digress. Their Al pastor is excellent. Over a years time I've experienced so much inconsistencie as far as quality goes. Today i ordered my usual (carnita tacos)and this experience took the cake. I should have captured a photo of the amount of grease/oil I received with my order. After my first bite i was too disgusted to finish. Burritos do need more flavor. I got 2 carne asada burritos supreme ($7.50 each) and it was not good at all. The meat had no flavor and tasted like charr from the grill. My burrito was also overpowered by the onions. The rice was soggy and tasted like high school Spanish rice. I've had taco truck burritos before and they never had cheese in them, the ones I got from here did though. read more
