No line, so super fast service for fresh delicious tacos! Parked in the gravel lot across the street. Great prices, easy to read menu. Picnic tables in a clean area to sit and eat. Only two tables had umbrellas and it did sprinkle a little bit, but no problem since I was the only one there. It's a great place for a food truck. I've ordered from this food truck more than once and can't say I've ever been disappointed. The quality is consistent, the portions are good, and if you order a burrito, more than good. Check out the al pastor, it does not disappoint. The service is excellent and I'd say the only downfall is that all menu options are not always available. We were stopping at another food truck and saw this one so we decided to grab some goodies. Got a couple of Tamales the hubs favorite they did not disappoint flavorful moist and filling throughout! We also got a couple of horchatas sooo good love when I can really taste the cinnamon I am very picky about horchata and they definitely know their stuff. Service was quick and friendly. read more

The mild sauce is mild as advertised and the hot sauce is flavorful and spicy. Yum. The lady serving us was helpful, polite and accommodating, just some old school service. I have no idea how or why this place is rated so highly. I have been here a few times now because it's the only food option next to Beerwerks that has been open late when I've been there. This past time was my third visit and will most certainly be my last. First time I went simple and tried a pastor burrito. Inside the burrito was like 75% refried beans and it tasted like dog food. Second time I tried the shrimp taco. Got about four of them. Wish I got zero of them. You know when your dad or college roommate or anyone else who doesn't really know how to cook tries to make tacos? That's what these tasted like. Raw flour tortilla, unwarmed and straight out of the Mission Tortillas bag. Raw bell peppers and some other veg. Shrimp were the only thing I think warmed on the tacos. Unseasoned and rubbery. Again, it tasted like someone who doesn't know how to make real Mexican food trying to make Mexican food quickly in their dorm at 1am. This third and last time I tried the tamales and while they were the best of the three things I've tried here, still half of each of them was completely dried out and inedible. Like "you go to eat it and you have to spit it out because it has the consistency of a rubber chicken" inedible. When you have customers who are paying for this food this is completely unacceptable. Service has been tepidly friendly but not enough to salvage the WORST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. Why people continue to go here boggles me, they must all be in the same situation I have been in where you're at the bar, hungry, and nothing else is around. If you want good Mexican food I recommend the restaurant in the Ramirez Grocery in Tumwater (#2 Mexican in Olympia area) or El Taco Amigo (#1 Mexican in Olympia area) just up Martin Way. Both are about 10 minutes from this truck and well worth the drive. Again, I can understand if a place has a bad day or if the food doesn't come out great one time. Even two times there is a little piece of me that forgives them and would give them one more chance. But on your third visit, if the food is still terrible, there is a problem with the establishment. This spot is better than most taco trucks in Seattle where the competition is HIGH. I got the Beef Lengua and it was not hard rubber- a tell tale sign that these taco chefs know what they are doing. Not only that but they actually serve their tacos Mexican Style, WITHOUT Cheese! The Barbacoa is really good and not many trucks will trouble themselves with the task of making it. Well, tried this food with Uber delivery. Meh... not so great. I had carne asada street tacos. The carne wasn't seasoned enough. By the time it got to my house it was cool and Meh flavor. Pretty disappointed considering it's relatively easy to get to the apartment. Radishes are usual with street tacos but mixed in with the meat not so much. Asked for mild sauce arms got tomatillo instead of mole common red. Beans are tasty but it's pretty hard to mess up refried beans. Not an experience I'll do again. Meh read more

Carne asada on point, good prices, good hours, super polite and friendly. The tortillas are seasoned perfectly and the sautéed onions were a delicious addition. These are larger than your average street tacos, but definitely similar in style and presentation. Their menu is fairly large and I haven't tried everything yet, but I recommend the barbacoa or pastor tacos and a side of their house made hot salsa. read more

If you're craving tacos this is the place to go. Phenomenal tacos that are a little bigger than your usual street taco fare. Pastor and Barbacoa tacos were on point served traditionally with lime wedge, onions and radishes. Grilled onions also served on the side and were a delicious addition. The tortillas are perfectly seasoned and the chips were warm and fresh. Mild salsa is a delicious tomatillo based salsa with a slight hint of sweet and the spicy salsa isn't knock your socks off hot but rather a very pleasant little kick of heat. Dipping a chip in each of the salsas was really good. Ordered the chicken quesadilla for my little and was impressed by how tender and moist the shredded chicken was. Tried this taco truck for the first time and was disappointed especially after reading so many good reviews. I really wanted a burrito but they didn't have any left. I ended up ordering the carne asada taco and chicken sopes. The lady showed me the screen with what I ordered twice. When I got home to eat it they gave me two sopes and not the taco. I'm always looking for my next favorite taco truck. This one was parked in front of the beer works and there seemed to be some lunch deal for food and beer which was cool. The food was average for the area. About the same as the "California Taco" trucks. Chicken was a little bland and watery the best was the al pastor. Tacos were good size. Still not that good compared to my favorite, Taco Amigo on Martin way past Carpenter. There is a BIG difference in places that cook most of their meats when you order. The seared flavor doesn't last long in a holding tray which gives you the sort of bland flavor at most trucks. Even El Taco Amigo has been cooking their chicken and asada in batches now so maybe it's too hard to not pre cook once a place gets busy. read more

Their tacos are my favorite -- usually carne asada-- but I got a post-run burrito once and it was equally delicious. The food here was scrumptious! I ordered a spinach quezadilla and it was amazing. Typically I don't enjoy spinach, but the food here made me have a new appreciation for it! I came in a large group and was expecting the wait time to be awfully long, like it is with most places. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised when the wait time was relatively short! Best burrito I've ever had from a taco truck. It's definitely a knife-and-fork burrito that comes in a clamshell, with lettuce, tomato, and cotija on top, and cups of red salsa, green salsa, and sour cream on the side. The filling has the perfect mix of meat, beans, and rice, and the seasoning is terrific without being too spicy. Definitely ordering from this place again! read more
