This spot has been open for almost 3 years, and let me say I'll be here at least once a month now. Victoria, our server, was awesome; she definitely knew exactly what to recommend. Started with the knockout nachos with chicken, great favor with the fresh jalapeño peppers. I ordered the Hollywood chicken sandwich that had grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions, and was incredibly tender. The Caesar salad needed more green lettuce, but it was still a very good salad. I would get the wet lemon pepper wings, not a Hugh fan of the dry wings. I really liked the cleanliness of the facility. Everyone was so friendly and nice. I cannot wait for my next visit. The open space seating is perfect for a party. I cannot wait for my next visit.

SIDE GARDEN SALAD with ranch 7/10 (way too many cucumbers, not enough lettuce)

We came in as a group of 5, were seated quickly, and immediately greeted. Our server was very sweet and patient. The food was very good, I think everyone cleared their plate and we even got dessert Togo! This place gives off sports bar but a little nicer and better prices! We will definitely be back during football season to watch some games on the big TVs!!

Shrimp tacos were good. Fortunately our party of 9 was seated immediately because we went 3 hours before the Bulls Hockey game. They wouldn't take a reservation which was frustrating. The digital payment for us was confusing since there weren't names attached to tickets. Waitress did a good job but she could have been a bit more upbeat.

Service was fast but server didn't seem too happy to be here. The shrimp tacos were delicious but the salsa a little too spicy for me. A little loud at the moment with the hockey crowd here. Will be back though!!

Everything was fantastic during our visit except I am trying to figure out why there was a 20 minute wait when honestly more than half the restaurant had empty tables. Otherwise the waitress was fantastic and attentive, drinks were never empty. Food was great and the 400 (hyperbole) had football on them so no matter where you sat you could see the games.

Had a craving for some chicken wings and Taco Mac was definitely worth the trek across town. It's located in the newer Canopy Trail area in Pelham across from the former amphitheater. There are lots of menu choices, including some burgers and a plethora of beers on tap, but the wings are clearly the specialty. We ordered the oven roasted wings, half with Parmesan garlic and chose buttermilk ranch seasoning for the rest. These are undoubtedly some of the best wings in the area! They are cooked just right, juicy and not dried out or hard like some you might get at their competitors. We also had an order of perfectly fried tots. I might ask for them to be a little less heavy handed on the salt, but otherwise these are pretty tasty. Overall, this was a very good dining experience that was only made better by our attentive, friendly and jovial server, Mia. The restaurant is spacious and bright with lots of large mounted televisions and a huge bar. I'm guessing it's a very popular spot during college football season. Our visit was on an early weekday evening so it wasn't too busy. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick casual meal. We will definitely be back!

Triple Play Menu (June 2025)

We've been a couple times, and Taco Mac seems to be a pretty solid choice. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but if you are, there is a wall-o-beers on tap. There are also hard ciders, and mixed drinks which are more my speed if I'm in the mood. My absolute go-to meal , though, is the Green Chile burger. It is as satisfying as you'd think it should be. I've gotten it with both regular fries and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are crinkle cut, so they seem to get maybe a little more cooked than the regular fries, but still pretty good. If you go when they're offering the Triple play, it saves a couple and includes a drink. The only downside to this location is the parking. There just isn't a lot of parking, so you may end up having to park up the hill in front of the apartments (which may not always be available when the finally open them all?) or across the street at the civic center lot.

Two words, "salty tacos!" This is a typical spot for us after a home game because it's literally in our backyard. The children are super excited because it's Tuesday and of course tacos on Tuesdays are always the best choice. The excitement when arriving in the door and explaining that you have a large group that can be seated quickly is a plus. The kids are able to color which makes the environment that much better. The waitress was super kind and nice however we had a one issue that was not major and it was very minor. My tacos were super salty. After a failed attempt to negotiate with an alternative option, I was left with no options in the end. The waitress told us that the shrimp was preseason, and even if I ordered another type of entrée that has shrimp it would taste the same. So I decided to do the best choice which was to eat salsa and chips. Because of the removal of one entree, this also meant the removal of the kids eating free on Tuesday. The manager indicated the system is the system and there can not be any changes. In conclusion, while I was speaking with the manager, I overheard another guest, mention that her food was salty as well, but she bared it and ate it anyway. This is a great spot so without giving this a one star I would rather for this to be fixed and allow the community to continue to enjoy the atmosphere with having such a great local spot on Tuesdays. Stephanie was the manager on duty.

SMOKED BRISKET TACOS

Was given a gift card for Taco Mac. Had never tried it before so when we were in the area we stopped for dinner. Was seated immediately by the hostess. Server was initially prompt and helped us with the menu. He advised us to stick to the wings, tacos or burgers and we shouldn't be disappointed. I ordered the brisket tacos, and my wife got the Brisket BBQ burger. Tacos were served on a flour tortilla with pico, cilantro and citrus lime crema. Tacos were most and crema was excellent. Brisket was chopped, not sliced and slightly under seasoned. Chips and salsa were bland. Needed salt and salsa was below mild. My wife's burger was hot and juicy. Brisket was same as tacos. Bun was buttery and toasted. We chose Brussels sprouts as our side. They were flash fried and drizzled with honey. They were excellent. Staff were nice, but a little slow to check on us and bring the bill. The manager did stop by and found out it was our first time. He dropped off a discount card for our next visit within 30 days. Restaurant was clean and had a sports bar feel. Lots of TVs and high top tables. Pretty good for a fast food/bar type restaurant. Not bad food but didn't knock my socks off. Would probably try again if in the area.

I have waited until I have eaten at this place multiple times to write this review. I chalked my first time up to "maybe it's a bad server". To start, the service is absolutely horrible. Every time I've gone, if you order anything from the bar at the table, it's been at least 20 to 30 minutes until it arrives. Service was so bad this evening, that my wife actually went up to the bar to grab the table's pitcher of beer that had been sitting at the server's pick-up spot for 10 minutes... Also, they somehow pride themselves on their "ranch" sauce, which is disgusting. It looks like Elmer's glue that someone shaked basil leaves in. Knowing this, we ordered the "dressing ranch" instead. Unbeknownst to us, this is a $.69 upcharge for each sauce, which makes absolutely no sense, but even though it's Kraft ranch (or whatever), it's %1000 better than their "house ranch". I had a manager stating she'll make sure our daughter's wing's were free due to the lack of service.. which didn't happen. This has happened twice now. We've asked for traditional wings and have been brought boneless wings, we've asked for the "beer of the month" Sweetwater Day Trip IPA, and have been brought Sweetwater peach IPA. I even tried to explain the issues to the manager this evening about how bad it is every time we come here to eat, and was completely blown off. She started telling me how much the ranch upcharges were, that her waitress was overwhelmed (she had 2 tables), that that she won't apologize or can't do anything for past experiences. I'm uploading our actual receipt from tonight. As you can see, you will be charged for decent ranch (at best). You'll see our kid's wings were not taken off. You'll see that they will upcharge you for everything. You want your kids to have tomato on their burger? Upcharge. Lettuce? Upcharge. Cheese? Upcharge. As a business owner, and someone that would appreciate any feedback.. she wasn't having it and tried to justify how bad everything was. All I was trying to do was give her some constructive criticism and it didn't go well... so here I am writing this seemingly long review. I could go into detail on each time we visited this Taco Mac, but I'll spare everyone the agony of that. Here's the run down. 1. Service is awful. 2. Elmer's Glue Ranch is horrible... HORRIBLE 3. You wont get several things you ask for the first time 4. They'll upcharge you for everything 5. Parking sucks if they are semi-busy 6. This is a glorified Applebee's this does deserve one star, which is for: 1. Beer selection 2. Food isn't bad if you get what you actually ordered We live 2.2 miles from this place and wanted it to be something awesome. For us, for the community, for our kids... it's an absolute HARD PASS from us and all of our neighbors after giving it 5 or 6 chances. %1000 would avoid at ALL COSTS.

Great Friday night eats. Bae and I are on date night and he wants Taco Mac. Such a great choice. They are steady. Our server is Deion. He is Amazing, quiet but thorough. Thanks for my treat, tea glass filled all night. Bae had the Philly cheese egg rolls and a smashed burger with fries . I had the mango wings with tots. Yummy! The manager came over to greet us, this place was great. Y'all already know when I'm full and happy, I'll be back.

I was originally seated at a high top, but then realized that one of my friends had back issues so I had to move to a different table. Our servers name was Alexander. He was a very nice gentleman and was also very attentive to our table. I started off with a Margarita on the rocks. This is their signature. Margarita and I usually get it when I come here. It is delicious. I highly recommend it. I was undecided on what I wanted to get to eat, but our server recommended the garlic Parmesan chicken. I got that with a side of loaded baked potatoes and a side salad with blue cheese dressing. The only issue was that the chicken was a little on the dry side, possibly overcooked, but still delicious I visited the restroom several times because I was drinking a lot of water and the bathroom facilities were quite clean. The lighting was perfect for an evening dinner. It is definitely a sports bar vibe. Definitely a great place to come watch some college football. Since this is pretty close to my home, I probably will come here more often.

Despite there being open seating it took quite some time to be acknowledged. The food took so long to come out that we had to ask the bartender to check in it. Unfortunately, it came out COLD AND BURNT!! This was such a disappointing experience. I don't plan on returning.

We were quickly greeted by the hostess and was seated in the bar area. If you'd like to watch sports, this is definitely the place for you because they probably have about 50 TVs in there. It seemed like. Lily Grace was our server and she was very attentive. We started off with the top shelf, Margarita, which was very delicious. I got the cheeseburger sliders with a side of french fries and my dinner date. Got the Louisiana platter. This is his go to dish when we come here. The cheeseburger sliders were very delicious and they were a perfect size. The restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms. This is my second time at this location and both times have been very good. I didn't have it this time around, but their Krispy Kreme bread pudding is delicious.

The way things worked out, this trip was supposed to be a quick-short stop. So we got the bar and couple cocktails to finish up our day. Seeing a couple appetizers being passed near...and after a couple Good People Snake Handlers, they were looking really good. The Back 40 Brewery Man was onsite giving samples. So one of my group broke with leaving quickly and ordered what I think is some of the best fried alligator I have ever eaten. So after a couple of fingers of good Scotch, we all sampled a cup of Red-Beans and Rice. Delicious I had to leave and got a couple of these signature burgers to go. I got the double bacon cheeseburger & Hangover Burger all the way this. These were both delicious

The cook's name is Joseph and he knows how to season. My only complaint was that it's a bar at night so still smoke filled during the day. I noticed a LOT of outgoing orders. The first time we waited around 15 minutes at a table before anyone acknowledged us, and the second time was basically the same experience sitting at the bar. Friendly service definitely wasn't the strong point here either. That said, the food honestly saved this review from being much lower. The wings had a fantastic sauce with great flavor, the fried pickles were crispy and addictive, and the fried green tomatoes were genuinely delicious with a really solid batter. Even the beers were ice cold and crisp, which fit the vibe perfectly. The biggest issue is that the pricing feels a little high for the overall experience and environment. If you're charging those kinds of prices, the cleanliness and service really need to match it better. If you're coming strictly for fried bar food and cold beer, you'll probably enjoy it. Just don't expect attentive service or a polished atmosphere.
