In the mood for a good burger, so I decided to place a to go order here. It had been probably a few years since I had been here. The parking can be challenging, but they will be moving closer to the Walmart supercenter in Hoover on 150 sometime in the summer My son ordered the buccaneer burger and I ordered the classic. Both were just 1 patty. I did ask for ranches on the side with my tater tots, but did not receive them. The burgers definitely have a homemade taste to them. They definitely give you a generous amount of tater tots. Once I place the order, it was ready in about 15 minutes. The cashier brought it around to me which I thought was sweet. We've found the best fries in bham! Whisky Foxtrot has perfectly thin, crispy fries on the outside with just enough pillowy potato texture on the inside. Think McDonald's fries but homemade and all around better. I absolutely loved the "Elvis" burger which has cheddar cheese, peanut butter and grape jelly. This sounds insane but all the flavors worked so well together. I opted for one patty instead of two but definitely could've gotten two because they're so thin - just how I like them! David got the Foxtrot burger which has two patties, cheese caramelized onions, pickle and Foxtrot sauce and he deemed it our new go to burger place. Made our first visit here tonight with friends and we were very pleased with the food and hospitality. The prices are reasonable. My wife had the Classic burger and I went with a Chili Ray Cyrus hotdog. We shared a basket of fries. The burger got high reviews and my hotdog was really good. I had to eat it with a fork. I came here for lunch on a Saturday, after getting a pedicure. The service was a little slow at the order counter. Myself and others waited roughly 5 min or so before anyone came from the back to assist. I had the Gotti hotdog and tots. This was my first time having a hotdog here. It's a beef hotdog , pastrami, caramelized onions , spicy mustard on a sweet roll type bun. Kinda messy to eat and way tooo much spicy mustard. Overall, I enjoyed and would order this hotdog again. This is my teenage son's favorite burger spot in the city. He gets the Foxtrot Burger with extra caramelized onions every time! He says the meat is seasoned well. As a non-beef eater, I always opt for a side of tots, which is definitely shareable. The tater tots are always hot and fresh and they have a touch of seasoning on them too. The staff is always friendly during our visits for takeout or dine-in. There's never a big crowd when we're there, but I don't know if people don't know about this spot, but it's definitely hidden gym for burger lovers. It's a smaller place inside a strip mall that is easy to miss, but you'll want to find this one. Cool decor and a fun burger menu. We each had a different burger and they were all delicious. If I had to pick one food to eat every meal my entire life it would be a burger so I know my burgers. Went yesterday with a group for my birthday and I have to say they nailed it in every way. This is a nice little burger spot. Braxton took our order. He is the sweetest and friendliest person. He helped us make our burger selections and shared his favorite with us ( it has PB&J on it). We chose the classics with bacon. I got fries and my friend got tots. Great seasoning. The fries are hand cut there and cooked just right. The portion of fires and tots was huge! TV screens are up for catching the latest in sports, and there's a small bar in the back. This place is cool for catching a meal while watching the game or if you need a little casual date night. If you or have a party of 3 you really only need one order of fries, they are very generous with them, and they are good!!!! Went to use restroom and hand written not saying out of order. Food was good and service was ok. The attitude was apparent to not come in and expect service at 8:25 as they were ready to go home. So this is one of the neater places we've eaten at. It's about 25-30 minutes away from Montevallo, but on the way home for us, so we decided to take the drive to this "dive." The decor is cool. Has an old school pinball machine and video game, movie posters and antique signs. It's just a neat place to sit and eat. Ok, this is a new spot to me in this area. I found it on the Birmingham's Own app. We were seated immediately and greeted as well. The selections of burgers and hotdogs were amazing! They use wagyu beef for the burger and the hotdogs are all beef also. Once you make your order, it doesn't take long to get your food. I had the foxtrot which had caramelized onions, pickles, cheese, foxtrot sauce and two nice size burger patties. The burger came out sizzling and oh, the hand cut fries were just as hot. The entire meal was outstanding!! The foxtrot sauce is a great compliment to the meal. If you want a really good burger and some great hand cut fries then you need to make your way here.
