Everything is made fresh and served quickly. We enjoy ending the week (Thursday, Friday or on both days) at Taco Mama's. We order a large serving of queso and chips and then add our Margarita's to the order. Then we sit down and snack and sip and "people watch". It is a fun and relaxing time that doesn't cost much. They forgot the avocados but gave us a massive cup of them when reminded. The tacos are over stuffed (a good thing) which made them difficult to eat. Ended up making it into a salad. The burrito wasn't over stuffed (or under). Good fillings ratio. The salsa was good. Spouse liked it. There is very limited seating and the place is hot as heck. What a great little restaurant! We only had to wait in line a few minutes, while we were waiting in line an employee came up and asked if we need a menu, she gave us one which gave us enough time to look the menu over before we got to the register. We ordered our food and it came out quick, and it was delicious, I should also mention the chips and salsa were really REALLY good. The service was fantastic! One small detail, while the employee was clearing the table next to us he setup the garbage can right next to me and that was gross. We had two entrees--Q Burrito & Steak Nachos, one softdrink, and two waters = about $25. The atmosphere was open and outdoorsy; the food was average to be so expensive. I got the nachos. They were kinda soggy and they should've separated the chips and the nacho ingredients. The service is always great and their salsa used to be good but now they're going downhill. It is always fast if you're in a hurry and if you order takeout it's done in less than seven minutes if you call them early enough. Everyone is very nice and overall honestly there's nothing special about the food... But just if they maybe worked on the flavor of the food and also the consistency. The food and margaritas are sooooo amazing. I got the fish tacos on soft tortillas. The watermelon margaritas were so tasty I drank 3. I just wish the cup sizes were larger. I did see I group of ladies have a pitcher of what looked like watermelon margarita drink. But not 100% sure if they offer that. Definitely will ask on my next trip. I've eaten here 4-times, three times with friends, family or coworkers, the forth time To validate my decision that this place isn't all that. Lower the prices and I'd go back. The seating is very limited even with indoor and outdoor seating. Im leaving this review because I do not understand what else to do. The issue is, my Wife and I used to order from here once a week. We live right down the road from this location, and it is very convenient for me to stop here on the way home and pick up dinner. I order the EXACT SAME THING every time. What keeps happening is my order keeps getting messed up somehow, despite very clear instructions, despite patiently bringing this up to them at the counter (mind you, I am talking about dozens of occasions). I order a steak quesadilla with Black Olives and Avocado INSIDE the quesadilla, as in cooked WITH the meat and cheese. What happens is I receive a plain steak quesadilla with black olives and Avocado in small plastic containers separate from the actual cooked quesadillas. Who wants to eat cold ingredients on a cooked quesadilla?! I have to put it all together myself which sounds very entitled, I know. But you have to understand I have tried every method of communication I can think of to get them to cook it with the meat and cheese. I just got home with the wrong order... again!! We took a long break from eating here because they kept messing it up- and they did it again! Im so frustrated because I want to eat here. I want to support the staff, I always tip 10$ and love the ambiance. But man- so frustrating! Just cook the food right!!! read more

Friendly staff in a trendy garage bar restaurant style. The food was good. The queso could have been a little thicker to stay on the chips without dripping so much. I had the cheesy beef tacos and tried one of each in soft and crunchy shells. Both were good. Juicy so grab some extra napkins. The chips were really thin but good.
