I am so happy to have found a Taco Maya in West Chester. I used to live in Coatesville and would go to their original location all of the time. Now I live in Delaware but I work in West Chester - so having this location in between home and work makes me very happy. This restaurant is big and beautiful and clean, inside. The two staff members that helped build my burrito were kind, helpful & friendly. The burrito was exactly how I remembered my taco maya burritos from the past. And I made an Arnold Palmer like I always do and that delivered also. Love that it comes with those yummy chips too. Can't wait to return again soon! read more

Great addition to the neighborhood!! The food is select your own style meats and toppings and delicious! There are a lot of meat options to choose from. The inside and ambience is decorated very nicely and the staff is super friendly. We ordered burritos with the carnitas and also spicy carnitas and my children got chicken quesadillas. My kids really like this place. And I like that the menu emphasize the vegetarian dishes. We had some good burritos, kid burrito, and some nachos and queso dip, all of which was really good. Really glad this place opened. I hope they can partner with the planet fitness across the street, and be able to sell more to people who are finishing their workout. Taco Maya is a welcome addition to our community and we are so glad that they are here . The food is fresh and well prepared and there is a good variety to choose from. The owners get to know you and they are always very friendly and welcoming. They had a fun parking lot party to celebrate their anniversary that was well attended. I want to give a huge recommendation for this place. The food here is fresh, fast, and very reasonably priced. We went twice in two days because we couldn't decide what to eat yesterday. Today, I lost my keys in the restaurant. I was sure it was in the bathroom but it's only so big. Without me asking, they emptied and picked through every trashcan in the restaurant. I was a huge pain in the butt I'm sure, but they thanked me like three times for coming in when I left. The people here are so nice and I really hope that this restaurant does well. read more

We had a carne asada burrito and chicken tacos. The beef in the burrito was inedible. After chewing on this gummy substance and not get anywhere I spit out. The burrito was under filled and mostly the tortilla as I tried to salvage the non meat part. The chicken on the tacos was super dry. I love the one in the Exton area but it can be a bit of a drive from where I live, so I was very excited to see the new west chester location open up recently. The food is always good, fresh, consistent, fast, and affordable. And as a fellow culinary professional I love to see how clean both locations are! The ambiance is nice -- fun, colorful and festive. The food was just ok and expensive. $2.99 for Dasani water $2.97 for 4 ounces of pico de gallo The menu was on the wall so maybe we just didn't know how order. It's almost 3 am and my tummy is hungry! We were there at 8 pm and spent $33 for 2 people. We ordered soft tacos. They were messy. The meat was flavorful but a bit skimpy. Topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour scream squeezed from a bottle. We had guac which was very good but $5.97 for a scoop or two in a plastic cup. It was disappointing to me that they didn't have a place to recycle Jarritos glass bottles or our plastic ware. Also, be forewarned if you order a tamale. The menu says tamale with green sauce. The tamale is frozen. They microwave it so it will be served after you get the other food and the green sauce is supposedly already in the tamale.....???? Maybe tonight was an "off" night. We'll go back just to try their quesadillas but I miss Mas, the place in Painters Crossing (El Gran Rodeo) or the restaurant further South in Wilmington. read more

chipotle style restaurant but more authentic. i guess they know their area but $40 for tacos, a burrito, and some chips for lunch was a bit pricey. i live closer to phoenixville where this meal would have cost 18$ at another restaurant with table service and free margaritas. best of luck to this place though because the food was definitely good! read more
