I usually LOVE Taco Time. Not this time. The store was filthy, first off. Secondly the food was awful. The lettuce was old, soggy and browning. The chicken wasn't the way it should be, texture was iffy. My crispy stick thing was disgusting, when did it come full of sour cream?? My beans were cold and hard, the cheese didn't even come close to melting. Even the chips were stale. The ketchup pump was empty. The water was down to just the ice. Lastly, the bathroom was in desperate need of a cleansing. On a good note, the people were extremely friendly. I will not, however, be returning to this location. read more

Once again horrible rude service. After arrival in the drive thru was immediately told by a dull uninterested employee they would be closing soon but was told that I was still allowed to order. Once at the window had to ask twice for the hot sauce and sour creme. Once home found out the food ordered was incorrect. It appears they really where closing soon and simply made whatever was available rather then the order I asked and paid for. This is the worst Taco Time I have ever visited in my life. This poor service is not unusual at this location. I always avoid this location but due to snow did not want to drive further. Taco Time corporate should consider shutting this location down. read more

Best Fast Food EVER. Taco Time NW is Locally family owned. They own most of the stores in WA (approx 70) They are VERY different than the dumpy Taco Times in Oregon and Idaho. They use super fresh ingredients, incredibly friendly staff and made to order yet fast! The stores are all impeccably clean. They have my all time favorite Hot Sauce! read more

I stopped by after 8pm thru the drive thru. I waited much longer than reasonable. Got my order drove off realized it was wrong. Came back thru advised wrong order and also ordered a soda. My friends and I arrived and walked into the lobby. We were told they be right with us. Then told us we had to leave because the lobby was closed. There were people still in the lobby. I have worked in retail for several years. When a customer is already in the the store it is rude to kick them out. Then we we went through the drive through which was a complete nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this location due the disrespectful and rude service that we experienced. read more

I have been here for lunch several times. The Tater Tot things taste great. Not greasy. The food is fresh and tastes great. It isn't cheap, or all that fast. I like that the food prep place is wide open and you can see people working on your meal. read more

I'd say that it's a small step down from Taco Bell. It's cheep, it's fast, and it's cheep. So, in proportion, it's as good as Taco Bell. Stopped by the drive through for lunch on the go for a friend with food allergies. Fast food and allergies don't generally mesh well, but the folks at this particular Taco Time raised the bar. The specifics of our order were read back to us over the intercom (soft burrito with beans, lettuce, and tomato only). We were asked if it was OK to warm the tortilla in the warmer or if we'd prefer to have it warmed separately. When our order was brought to us (quickly), we were informed that the counter the food was prepared on was cleaned first and the employee that made it used fresh prep gloves. All this was done without any hint of irritation or apathy, and we even got an "Anything else I can do for you?" before we pulled away from the window. This Taco Time gets props for being more conscientious and polite about working around food allergies than any fast food restaurant I've ever been to and most dine-in places, too. read more

first taco time experience...went with two other peeps. ordered the veggie burrito with all the fixins. a little too much ranch dressing made it a friggin mess, but i ate it anyway. one other person ordered the same as me, and hers came with ranch too. so they had to re-make hers (uh-oh, losing stars here taco time). but that freed up an extra veggie burrito so i had an extra half which i really didnt need but ate anyway. the other party got a two taco meal. he didnt say anything good or bad and ate the other half of the leftover veggie burrito. not much to go on here. the food was decent. the service was decent. it was a burrito. you get a big tortilla and fill it with a bunch of shit and fold it up - not rocket surgery. id probably go back again if i needed a quick fix and nothing else was around, but i might try somewhere else first read more

The service is always super friendly and fast. The food is always fresh and delicious. The company sources ingredients locally, supports sustainability and runs a foundation which promotes access to healthy food - plus, they are a local Washington company, not some giant multinational conglomerate. This place is AWESOME!! I've never had better customer service at any other fast food place, and it's still some of the best service I've ever had. The people who work at the Tumwater Taco Time rock bigtime. I went 40 min before closing with my fiance and they had a big line in the drive through- while waiting for our food they served us warm tortillas and some delicious fresh salsa (free of charge- to say sorry for the wait), we got our food and they checked up on us and gave us free Cinnamon Crustos also! I've never had such great service- my fiance and I are now absolutely dedicated Tumwater Taco Time customers, we'll drive out of our way to go there over any other fast food place (including other Taco Times). read more

Worst place ever. first off i asked for no dairy on my food, not hard to do but tgey took the vegis off as well and i had to remind them that vegis are not dairy second their soda machine was not draining and the drain had liguid almost over flowing not cool but whats worse is that there was somthing gurggling from said drain like a monster getting ready to eat your face. The women's bathroom was so gross, and this is coming from a professional house cleaner of 6 years. There was stuff all over the floor, the sink was pretty gross and I think the main thing was the bathroom doors and walls. They're stainless steel and they obviously wipe it with some random dirty towel because its the grossest thing I've ever seen. They should probably use stainless steel cleaner to help their case. If you don't know what I'm talking about just use their bathroom. Lol read more

normally I tend to go through the drive thru. I went inside and was surprised to see such a clean friendly atmosphere. table were clean (no sticky) floor mopped. staff was smiling and looked like they enjoyed doing their job .Great pop machine... you can pick whatever you want. I have always been a fan of taco time's food. This location though takes the "fast" out of fast food. I have waited 10-20 minutes in the drive thru on numerous occasions. They also water down their soft drinks, in what I'm sure is the management's way to try save money. Also the burritos are soupy and soggy. read more

This was the biggest disappointment in food I've ever experienced. I ordered the chicken toco salad and did not receive what was on the menu. I got lettuce with three slices of tomato, cheese, and small chunks of chicken. They left out the salsa that should be on it and did not put it in a tortilla shell bowl. The service was terrible despite the fact there was at least eight people working. Over all I do not suggest going here go to taco bell instead. read more

I've come to this location many times but today in particular I ordered and the cashier made a mistake on my order. After informing the server I was asked to come up to the counter. Which caught me off guard. Then the cook comes out from the line and reprints my receipt and rudely says "This is what was rang up!". Her hands were also shaking as if she was angry with me. I told her "I don't really care. I will just eat the food. I don't need you to get angry at me. " and she starts snapping back at me so I just walked away. I work in customer service and I hate having customers who are rude to us when we make a mistake so I always handle situations like this calmly and with respect for the workers. But she did not seem to do the same for her customer. I will not be returning to this location ever again. read more

I usually like Taco Time but this one disappointed. Maybe it was because it was 8 pm on a Friday night. Maybe this location usually does better. We stopped for dinner on our way home to the Seattle area. The tables were dirty, the garbage cans overflowing, and the bathrooms marginal. The food was slow to arrive, perhaps partly because they clearly messed up the order of the "to go" person a couple of spots in line in front of us. The counter person was apologetic and said things had been "hectic". It actually was very quiet with only 3 tables in use while we were there. But maybe earlier... The food was fine once it arrived. Taco Time has an odd menu that I like. It is a healthy take on mexican food - so it isn't quite mexican food. I had the salad with chicken with medium salsa for a dressing. This place is usually good, but tonight they had issues. Ordered my favorite Mexi Meal Platter through drive-up. I live 30 minutes away. Arrived home and my meal is minus the taco, minus the dressing on the 'salad' (just shredded iceberg lettuce & half a tomato slice), and the pinto beans....hard, dry and no shredded cheese. What a disappointment. I'm hoping this is just because an untrained new employee. Still a really disappointing dinner tonight. read more
