They insist on keeping the receipt, which is a challenge if you purchase multiple items and are only returning one or two items and still considering the remainder of the purchases. I returned a greeting card today and the cashier would not let me have the receipt back. I pointed out that I had another item on the receipt and that I was still deciding about whether or not to keep it, but she said they had to keep the receipt. This is rather inconvenient for the customer, so I hope they will consider changing this policy in the future.

I can't think of a better place to go with a group of people. I love having choices! My friends and I went for a walk at Titlow and decided to come to FHS for lunch. Parking used to be much harder before the parking garage was built for Sound Transit. Plenty of parking across the street now. There's Vietnamese, Mexican, Greek, Fish and Chips, Burgers, Indian, and others I can't remember. The Mexican was pretty typical but the Indian food was delicious! 5 stars for them. Next time, Greek for me. Please, owner/manager of Freighthouse, please create a marketing plan. Get the word out. There was hardly anyone there at noon on a beautiful Saturday. This could truly be Tacoma's Pike Place Market if you slapped a coat of paint on it and power washed a bunch of stuff. I don't want FHS to close and turn into expensive apartments/condos. We don't need that, we need FHS.
