Besides the regular shopping we did today, I went to the Optical Dept. to order new new pairs of…read moreglasses, one regular and a pair of sunglasses. I was lucky enough to have Teanna work with me. She's also worked with my wife and she is superb. She knows her stuff and you can absolutely trust her suggestions and advice. She's a reason why we only buy our prescription eyeglasses at Costco. She helped me pick out two sets of frames and even did a 'tune-up' on the pair of glasses I'm wearing until the new ones arrive. Teanna reminded me that we can always bring our glasses in for tune-ups like replacing worn nose pads and readjusting the frames fit on the ears and nose. This is the type of added value Costco provides for all prescription eyeglass purchases.

For our household I am not exactly sure getting utilizing it to it's fullest entirely works because…read moreour household is fairly small. But not just that we are fairly new to Costco and we kind of need to adjust accordingly to this kind of bulk shopping and zero in on things we need bulk of and not focus on this kind of a store like Fred Meyer is. Although I acknowledge larger families could probably use it as an equivalent. We were told the Gig Harbor location was less chaotic and while it was slightly less so it's still a very fast paced place. Nothing too much different than the one in our own town however they seemed to get people through the check outs at amazing speed. I'd definitely would return should a Costco need arise and we were in the Gig Harbor area. If you aren't used to the area however I'd recommend coming in and out with GPS as it can be very confusing with what feels like a large amount of stores clustered off of one road along with it's roundabouts.

We dined @ Yaki Raki . The food was "tasty" & very "delicious" !!! The restaurant was clean & inviting ! The lady @ the counter was very welcoming !! It was our 1st time here & we enjoyed it very much !!! Also, we shopped @ Hobby Lobby & this was the 1st time here 2 . We both enjoyed shopping here 2 !!! My husband, who's normally not much of a shopper, enjoyed shopping here . All in all, this was such an enjoyable time being @ this specific mall !!!

Went at 10:30am on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy. Everyone is coming to check it out. Store employees were super nice. Moderate size store with good selection, but some racks were empty or needed to be refreshed. I don't know if that's because they are short-handed (which they are), or because they haven't had a chance to get to things with the crazy crowds they've had. Either way, I found some items to buy, and will definitely come back.

I've been shopping for 30 years at Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack. The reason I shop there is their…read morecustomer service, the quality of their items, and their return policy. I had to purchase a pair of dress shoes, and I specifically asked the salesperson when I told her that they were a little tight, but was assured that they would loosen up upon wear and if they didn't, that I could return them. I thought, "that's why I love Nordstrom's." Fast forward two hours, and I had a huge blister on the inside of my big toe. I had to remove the shoes and switch into tennis shoes, which did not match my suit at all. But, I knew I could return the shoes, so I was OK with that. I took the shoes back and was told by a sales clerk and by the manager, "Finn," that I could not return the shoes because they had been worn outside. I explained to her that I specifically asked that when I purchased them earlier and was assured that I could. She said that didn't matter because there were scuffs on the sole of the shoe. I said I would take store credit and she said "aren't you listening, I said we could not take them back." I would avoid this Nordstrom's rack, find another or better yet, just skip them altogether - they are not what they used to be, they do not stand behind their products, and they do not stand behind their word.

Don't go to the big box stores, support this local family owned gem. I have never seen so many Lego…read morekits in such a small space. Pricing is comparable to buying from Amazon yet you're supporting something small and local.

Just one thing - if you haven't been there or at least not recently, it has apparently split into two businesses - the storefront where there used to be the Lego shop is now Sasquatch model airplane parts. It still has the Sasquatch logo on the window. I thought they had simply converted until the lady asked "Were you looking for the Lego store?", which it turns out has moved to the back corner of the same building, a few hundred feet away and not visible from the street. FYI.

We all need things, day to day, and the employees at Target was still happy as ever! I haven't met a rude associate at this target, everyone always seems to be in just a good mood. They even made customers excited that Starbucks was back open. :) Surprisingly their shelf's were always stocked with what I needed.
