This place don't deserve a single star. I found them on Google and went because of the positive reviews plus their $2 taco online special. I ordered 4 tacos (carne asada) tacos not only they advertise wrong prices but also their food taste nasty! I got greased up tortillas that had a weird flavor and the meat had no flavor whatsoever. Also got watered down salsa in small plastic containers barely halfway filled. Waste of time and money. My order went straight to the garbage! go buy tacos somewhere else this place is not it.

Steak Taco

The steak tacos are delicious with lots of flavor. Make sure you get cilantro and onions.

This is one of the best taco spots I've been too! The sizes of the tacos are a bit bigger than the usual street tacos. I got three tacos two chicken and one al pastor for $8. The only downside is that I wish the al pastor had pineapples on it. Other than that, these tacos were flavorful and filling! I didn't wait too long to get them and I went on a Saturday around noon ish. The employees were nice and efficient. 5/5 recommendation!

Best tacos I've had in ages! Flavorful and fresh at a reasonable price: $2.5 each. Had 3 of the steak tacos and left full. Will be back again!

Amazing! These are delicious, authentic, Mexican tacos! You must try the al pastor and chorizo tacos. It's a food truck in a gas station parking lot off of Glenwood. I park my car along the side and get out to pay. Currently, you can't tip on a card, so I'd bring cash for a tip. The tacos are $2.50 (I haven't had any of their other food items). I've been a few times and can't wait to get back!

This place was a little too authentic for me with the texture of the homemade shells but I definitely appreciate the price @ $2 a taco

There's only one place in Raleigh that's so good I'll eat it in the front seat of my car, parked in a gas station parking lot _ Tacos Abarca. It's a food truck that's typically parked in front of the Valero at 6200 Glenwood Ave. in Northwest Raleigh. I would never call myself a taco truck expert, but this is the best of several where I have eaten in Durham or Raleigh. The pastor and asada both stand up to the corn tortillas, cilantro, onions and other toppings to make the flavor of the meat come bursting through. The prices are reasonable _ $2 per taco _ and posted on the side of the truck so you know exactly what you're getting. The service is fast and friendly, and it usually attracts a line of customers at lunch time. Its positioning on Glenwood Avenue has given me a good alternative to other restaurants near my office. And even if I'm heading toward Chipotle or Chili's on the same side of the road, chances are I'll stop at Abarca before I get to the next place! The same owners appear to also operate a second truck emblazoned with "Taqueria Abarca." My photos of the Glenwood location show some of the lunch crowd approaching to place their order!

This is a food truck on Glenwood Avenue. I came across this randomly while I was stopping for gas. I was actually heading to get something to eat but I needed gas. Killed two birds with one stone. $2 tacos. CASH only. The tacos were really good. I got 3 deluxe tacos asada. Regular tacos come with cilantro and onions. The deluxe tacos are 50 cents more and include cilantro, onions, cream cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheese. Full of flavor!

I visited Little Rey for the first time recently for lunch with a few friends. It is located in…read moreIron Works, so be mindful of parking. When we went on a Friday at lunch it wasn't initially too crowded but quickly got busy at 12/12:30. You order at the counter. I grabbed chips and salsa, the El Diablo taco and Steak Al Cabron taco, and a soft drink. In total, I think was around $20. As I mentioned, the place got busy quick so it took a little bit to get our food out to us but no worries because we had our chips and drinks to enjoy. I found the tacos to be amazing and hefty. I am torn about paying $6 for a single taco. That being said, I would pay for these $6 tacos again. Definitely a fun little spot to grab lunch with friends. I would encourage you though to give yourself 1.5 - 2 hours in case you come during a busier time like we did.

My new obsession is this restaurant. I always came by the area to have coffee or a sandwich and…read morefinally decided to come in and try the food. I went for a half chicken with the rice, beans, and a side of corn. This also comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. I also got 3 tacos- chicken, steak, and shrimp. I had everything with flour tortillas. The total for all- which could've fed 2-3 people, was around $45. The quality of the food was AMAZING. The steak and chicken tacos were sooo juicy and good that I've been wanting to go back just to get it again. If you try any taco, get the steak. There is also a salsa bar, and the first greenish/white sauce (cilantro crema?) was so good on everything so don't forget to grab a cup or 2. I later had the chicken with rice, beans, and corn and was extremely satisfied. I probably won't eat at another chicken spot other than this now. In addition to great food and good service- the restaurant is so pretty and modern inside. It was surprisingly empty and had so much seating inside and outside.
