Since I'm a pilot, I fly into Watsonville airport relatively often and I come here for this place! They have amazing quesobarria tacos and the sauce is really good! I've brought a couple students here and they love the food here too. The place is cute inside, there are picnic tables to eat at outside, and it's clean inside. This restaurant is along the strip across the street from the Watsonville airport, so it is next to other eateries/breweries. They don't have a menu up on the wall; instead, they have individual menus that you can take to a table and then you go up to order at the register when you're ready. I inquired about beers they had on tap which they didn't know off the top of their head. I was not exactly a fan of the price. I ordered two of the taco combo plate that comes with 2 tacos, beans and rice which cost about $18.5 each for two plates, and a glass of beer. The total came out to $50 and didn't include the tip. They don't have real silverware, instead you're given disposable wooden utensils which I did not like. Apparently in an effort to continue to be sustainable, if you want salsa or other sides for your tacos, you're supposed to take your plate to their self-service condiments area to put it on your plate. The staff were also weird about just providing the small salsa containers. The handmade tortillas and rice were delicious, but I've definitely had tastier tacos for a fraction of the cost at other places. The staff were attentive in picking our plates once we had finished eating, so that was nice. All in all, I am sure there are better places that are more inexpensive than this place. read more

We ordered this to go and it was pretty good! I got the grilled shrimp taco and a supper chicken burrito. My partner got the stuff and turf burrito and we got 4 regular chicken tacos. It was pretty pricy ($79) But the burritos are a good size and the shrimp taco had a lot of flavor! I believe the chicken they use is thighs. I had a couple tough pieces in my burrito.. But overall pretty good! The phone service was nice and quick! Or food was ready pretty quick as well. Literally! The best Mexican food I've had in years. We placed a big order because we were camping at KOA. Their tacos and burritos had the perfect ratio of everything. Tried this place when visiting the nearby tap room. Son got asada burrito, I got surf and turf burrito, and wife got asada nachos. The cashier said she would deliver it to us since we wanted to head down to the tap room outdoor patio. I thought that was very nice of her. Condiment station had some good salsas available too. I was excited to try this spot. I have been to this collection of restaurants near the airport before. It's very quaint, modern and a great spot to hang out with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Note that parking is a major pain in the area. I was trying to save time so wanted to call in my order before picking up. However, despite calling like 5 times, no one responded which was kinda annoying. When I got to the restaurant, there was one lady who was on the phone facing the other way. After waiting patiently for a while to place my order, I finally had to speak up to get her attention. She was super nice once she engaged though I was still irked overall since the food took 20 minutes to get ready after that and I ended up spending a lot more time than I had intended to. The food at this spot is great! We came curios to know if they had a taco Tuesday deal and they do! The tortillas are handmade and the salsas are really good. I like how there's indoor and outdoor seating and it's near a brewery so its a nice ambiance. Service was also great, we sat outside the brewery and they brought the food to us. My boyfriend got the impossible meat taco and it was charred to perfection with great seasoning and fresh onions + cilantro with an avocado sauce of some sort on top with the corn quesadilla. I got the avocado taco which is fried in beer batter with a red sauce and lots of fresh toppings.
