Love this place! The carne asada quesadillas are so delicious. Love how the cabbage comes cut up really small. So tasty.

This is a great taco shop and an extension of their food truck location down the road. The quesadillas and papanchas are good and they have a ton of indoor seating space. You take a seat at a table and one of the waitresses comes by to take your order. They have all been nice and quick the two times we have gone. I've been used to the food truck but we tried the restaurant. It is a no frills place that is family ran so it has a good homemade vide. The location is a little sketchy based on the area and the parking lot is missing markings and has potholes, but the food is good. They have a variety of things on the menu along with Mexican soda and Cebada and Jamaica. I plan to come again, but I do prefer the food truck since it's OG. The taco meat for asada and adobada is great but the cabeza is not as good. Overall not bad for a local taco shop that is family ran. I do prefer the taco truck but this is not a bad alternative. read more

This is a pretty hard review for me to write because the tacos were good and so were the salsas but the service was so awful. I would've been totally fine ordering my food at a window and eating but you are required to have a server. They do not post their prices so they choose what to charge you based on what they decide. (It seems like the evaluate what they think they can get from you based on clothes . The table behind us was charged 2$ per taco and we were told the tacos for 4$ a taco. We were also told the cokes were $5 a piece but again the table behind us was charged 2.50$ for a coke. The server (blonde hair lady with big lips) was extremely rude and did not speak any English which is totally fine because most of our party spoke Spanish but the constant eye rolls, rude comments were really were not necessary. We were polite and super friendly but it seems like others had an issue with her as well. Our server was sitting down eating most of the time and hanging out with friends. We did not see any of the servers wash their hands once after eating with their hands which seems like a huge health concern. We had to constantly ask our server for things like forks, salsas, adding more food but she was irritated because she was busy hanging out with friends and we had to wait for her to be done hanging out. Also the area is super sketchy, we had a man run at us when we were leaving to where we literally had to hold down our horn to scare him off. I do not think the risk and treatment is worth the good tacos. read more

I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for a taste of tacos from Mexico I 100% recommend this taco truck. Outside seating and it definitely gets busy from all the regulars around the area. They're open till midnight during the week not too sure about the weekend. I've probably tried about every taco from here but this is what I recently ordered carne asada tacos and a carne asada vampiro . The cabeza tacos are so good. The salsas are SOOOOO TASTY green avocado one and the other is a chunky salsa that's made with grilled tomatoes and chiles not too hot either. The service is great this place only accepts cash or Zelle. I'd ask for prices and a detailed receipt before you pay though. It's in a rough neighborhood lol I'm used to it though. Parking isn't the greatest so I'd park at the business to the right side of the taco truck bc to the left it's a very narrow road and difficult to get out of it. There's also women/men that hang around selling snacks, breads cheeses from Mexico I definitely recommend supporting them I always try and grab something when I can like a sweet bread or piece of cheese to take home and cook with bc they're honestly so good. You can't really just get it anywhere. They have music playing and a lady there that sings great. this will hands down always be my favorite taco truck bc their tacos are prepared like in Mexico. 100% recommend this place. read more

First time going to a food truck and this place was crowded and even had a line. it shows just how much people are willing to wait for the food. They give out large water bottles for free and they have tables set up and waiters and waitresses to clean the table and deliver ur food. Its not like a restaurant at all but its a pretty dainty food truck. Their bathrooms are clean and their food is bombbbbb I ordered 3 al pastor and 3 carne asada tacos and mm... idk what they put in there but the spices were so bomb. They also provide you with hot sauce and guac as well... if i didnt live so far away id come here all the time. And its a plus that they open till like 12am Came here on accident just bcuz all the other restaurants were closed at 9pm and im kinda glad that happened because i discovered a favorite food truck place ^~^ read more

Just moved from Cali and I pass this place everyday on my way to my pad and it's always packed. Decided to come here for dinner today. I read reviews of how bomb and authentic this place is to Cali and TJ tacos. What a fucking joke. These tacos are disgusting to say the least. I ordered 2 asada and 2 al pastor with a large horchata. First off who puts cabbage in tacos? And no onion and cilantro? The salsas and horchata lacked flavor. There's nothing great about these tacos. Everything was flavorless and taste nothing like tacos from TJ. If this is supposably the best taco stand in AZ then that's the end of my taco search. People out here either have no taste buds or never had the real deal. The tacos are also small and over priced at $2.50 a taco and up. This is our go-to spot to hit up for tacos, even though it is a 45 minute drive from the East valley - this is a spot we will always make the drive for (even at these gas prices).
