Jalapeño Bites - 8.9 / 10 A lot of people hold Jack-in-the-Box's Stuffed Jalapeños as the "Gold Standard" of the cheese-filled capsicum. I would offer that Arby's makes competitive stuffed jalapeño. Crispy breaded on the outside, tender pepper stuffed with melty cream cheese. The kicker here is the Bronco Berry sauce. There's nothing like it & no other establishment offers anything close to it. Who knew that sweet (berry) matched perfectly with the spice + dairy? I was pleasantly surprised how busy this place was on a cool, Sunday evening. Props to the friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to visit this location in the nearby future. Also, high, high marks for not having an open drink station & sauce station. The burger was nicely toasted with korean bbq meat inside (it was more like bulgogi than kalbi so a bit of a letdown there) with a mayo type slaw. It was hearty and greasy in all the best ways, a bit on the sweeter side for a kbbq glaze, but eating just half already filled me up. Just as we were about to leave, we did notice that the owner walked in and we remembered that since it was still in the time slot advertised, we could ask for some ice cream if we dined in. He graciously went to the back and shortly after came back with some strawberry ice cream scoops. It was a good contrast to the fatty/salty meal we just had (and did suspiciosuly taste like Thrifty's ice cream).
