We happened to stumble upon this restaurant as we were staying at the hotel across the street. It's safe to say we were not disappointed in the food! From the time we walked in, there was a line of people waiting to order and a smell of delicious food! We knew if there were people waiting - it must be good! The staff was friendly from the time we ordered till we departed. I also noticed the people working in the kitchen and in front were all females! It gave a nice touch to the Mexican hospitality. We had Floriano's cater our party this weekend for 50 and the team was great and the food was very tasty. All of our guests commented on how good the tacos and quesedilla's were. The Friday BBQ chicken dinner! Where do I start: The chicken was so dry I think it may have been raised without water. Seriously speaking, it was so dry that I needed a glass of water on standby and ranch dressing to ease it going down. The Aquachille dinner was served on a plate with insufficient food for the price. When I asked if they made it incorrectly due to the lack of food on a nearly flat plate; I received a weird look and "that's the way it is" as an answer. If you want to waste your money on meals with little to no care for taste, preparation, presentation or value this is the poor excuse for food that you should throw it away on. My kids are super picky, and they actually ate everything. That's saying a lot! The people were friendly, and the service was great. I want to start off by saying I do door dash sometimes and I've gotten many florianos orders to drop off. Always smells amazing. Big, clean and even has an area to buy meat. It's always peaked my interest and so I got a discount code from door dash and my husband and I thought hey why not finally try florianos? We were super excited he got a lengua burrito and I got a chile relleno burrito. He ordered his with some jalapeno salsa and I added on mine some jalapeños as a free add on. We're very much fans of spicy food but when I tell you that they put so much spice I mean it was almost a punishment more than a meal. I first tried my husbands thinking it was mine and as much as it was good it immediately was disturbingly spicy. But I was like hey whatever he asked for the jalapeno salsa I mean we didn't say how much to put on. So I ignored it trying to stay unbiased because like I said I was eager to eat here for a while. I started eating my burrito and noticed it didn't have meat and honestly for $12 it's a bit wild in my opinion to charged that much for a burrito with no meat. But hey whatever I thought. Times are crazy inflation is high. Also I looked back on the app and it was a $3 charge for meat that I had missed when I was getting my order together so I blamed myself for that. The first half where the chile was, was good. A couple jalapeños here and there not too bad. I liked it the beans were good the rice was good but then I got to the second half of my burrito and I noticed a crazy amount of jalapeños. I started pulling them out and in the picture it shows how many jalapeños I pulled from just that part of the burrito. Keep in mind I've already ate a good amount of jalapeños already. It's like they poured a small can of jalepenos on my burrito. I stopped eating it and my husband tried finishing it for me without the jalapeños in it. Service was good. Food was meh. My friend got the veggie burrito and said it was really dry. I got the shredded chicken burrito with tomatillo sauce and it had zero flavor. They brought me a side of sour cream but it was really watery and ended up just going on the plate and off the burrito. Prefer El Toro Burrito for sure. read more

Arrived in town, looking for a solid meal. This place was perfect. We placed our order, paid for it and sat down. 10 minutes later our food arrived. We opted for the shrimp ceviche tostado which was full of plump shrimp. Everything was well seasoned. We also had the beef tongue taco salad, which was full of tender tongue. We had the children's taco order (2) carnitas which came with beans and rice. Very tasty and proportioned nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed sampling the salsa bar. Stop what you're doing, as you need this place!! Order at the counter, helpful staff. I tried the (big bowl) of spicy green posole (one of the specials) which was incredible! It came with a large platter of accompaniments--fresh finely diced onions, cilantro, radishes, tortilla chips, little containers of what I think was dried epazote or oregano and fresh red chile paste, as well as wedges of lemon and lime. The pork was cooked to tender shreds, and the soup had a generous amount of it. I definitely want to return for the mild red posole or menudo. There is a salsa bar with at least 6 choices, everything was good. They have soda, tea, and fountain agua frescas at a help yourself station. Tamarindo is my favorite. Husband had a platter of carne asada street tacos which he liked. Also a butcher counter up front to purchase fresh meat. The seating includes large comfy booths and tables. Your food is delivered to your table. I wasn't very hungry after a day of travel, but the food was so flavorful, I ate it all. Very affordable prices, too. read more

I've always found it funny how we have to come to Lompoc to find good Mexican food considering we live in LA.. Floriano's is now a good option for us when we come to Lompoc.. the agua frescas are good and the food is fresh. They even have vegetarian options... they bring your food to you after calling your name so be mindful of that. There was a couple dorks that forgot their own names and the waitress was standing there looking confused.. so pay attention folks. Came here with a group of friends and everyone liked the food. I got the shrimp tacos and the filling was very tasty but the tortillas were bland and not toasted. The grilled meat plate was very good. The Aguas Frescas were not that good. They gave us chips and there is a complimentary salsa bar with some super hot sauces. Service was fairly fast. Food was authentic and tasty. My meal did not take long to prepare and the wait people were friendly.

I personally did not enjoy how self served this place was. You had to get your own menus, order your food at the counter, serve your own drinks. When coffees were brought we had to ask for the creamer and the sugar. Perhaps we are really pampered in other restaurants but I certainly wasn't expecting a sit down place to be like this. Then when we were served the lady didn't even which plate didn't have what asked to excludes. Though I have to say Alex was an incredible server he was very attentive otherwise. Food was good though no complaints there.
