We sat out on the patio, which was actually really nice, but unfortunately the service didn't match the setting. The café de olla was a big disappointment extremely sweet, undrinkable, and served self‑serve in thermo containers, which is not real café de olla. The food itself was good. I had the chorizo burrito, my brother ordered the huevos rancheros, and my sister got the French toast. Everything tasted solid, but it took quite a while for our plates to come out. The location is eh. The parking lot is small and neighborhood parking is a bit difficult to find. However, they have a very nice outdoor seating space, which I loved. The service could be improved. Was in the neighborhood and found this gem of a taco store. I had the three carne asada tacos plate and my wife got the asada quesadilla. The tacos come with Guacamole and the asada was delicious and tender. The red salsa is pretty hot but it completes the tacos. My wife loved the quesadilla. First off I want to acknowledge all of the staff were absolutely wonderful and took extra time to explain the different ways I could order and the ingredients and then I think they were surprised I spoke in Spanish as an older Caucasian blonde lady, and really were so very nice, then to taste their shrimp tacos made my 3pm snack stop experience absolute perfection. I usually expect street-sized tacos on corn tortillas, but was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the flour tortilla paired with shrimp, cheese, cabbage, radish, and pico de gallo. The generous portion of shrimp, cooked to perfection with a hint of garlic, exceeded my expectations. Dismissing claims of undercooked shrimp, I suspect some may be accustomed to overcooked varieties. I highly recommend these delightful shrimp tacos! read more

I ordered a cali burrito which was supposed to have pico and guac, but alas, no pico, no guac. Just a bunch of rice and beans and some rubbery meat. Fries undercooked. Salsas didn't help much, just the basic red and green. Why try to do anything unique or interesting or better when you can just do the same old boring thing only worse? Don't ask them to cut in half unless you mean closer to 3/4 & 1/4! This place was good. Just good. Nothing exciting. I think what they're going for is less greasy tacos, which kind of takes away from the overall flavor. I understand that they're probably trying to go for a more healthy approach, but the flavor was sub par. I tried the birria burrito, and it was kind of bland. I couldn't really taste the birria-ness to it, but they do give a solid amount of shredded beef. But, it just wasn't nothing exciting about it. The full four stars go to the carne asada tacos. I think the tortillas were homemade which were super moist and delicious, making it even better. The carne asada was really good. They add a little guacamole to it to give it a delicious kick. Overall, I'd stay clear from the birria if you've tried birria from other spots. But those tortillas with carne asada had me wanting more. read more

Glad I found this yummy new place! I got the birria burrito and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The birria was tasty and the beans and rice in the burrito were perfectly cooked. I was craving the kind of food I would eat at a Mexican party and this really hit the spot. They have a red and a green salsa. Both have a great flavor but the green is a mild salsa, while the red is more spicy. I combined one little salsa container of each flavor and found this to be the right level of flavor and spicy for one burrito. If you like food very spicy, you might need more of the red salsa. I also ordered an agua de piña (pineapple water) and it was delicious! The place is quite small and there's not much seating so it's more of an "order for takeout" kind of place. However, it's very neat and clean and since I was the only one there (noonish on a Wednesday) I was quite comfortable eating there. The service is great! Staff is super friendly.
