I am not one to say no to a new taco place. Now Tacos Diablo is a taco food truck parked in front of the old Trolley Line Diner in the Town of Nassau. I order a carnitas burrito which is basically a pulled pork burrito. The portion was large, tasty and flavorful. They have a decent menu, I am going to try an elote next time. Tacos Diablo had their grand opening last night, and their hours are 1 to 7. That my change. Cant wait to eat their food again. read more

Amazing flavor and quality! We had quesadillas and every aspect was delicious- crispy tortilla, flavorful meat and a variety of yummy sides. Price was higher than a typical Mexican joint, but no complaints other than that, and in the current climate it's probably justified. Overall a very good meal, would recommend!!! read more

Tacos Diablo offers a short menu and a very informal setting. They have a very nice picnic area outside, with numerous tables, and though the choices are limited to tacos and burritos, the food was very good, the service friendly and prompt, and the vibe "chill". The guacamoles was fresh and delicious, and the choice of "mexican" style soft drinks was a fun addition. There are few dining locations in the village of Nassau, so it was nice to see this shop open. They are located very close to the new rail trail, which makes it a nice pit stop if your riding. read more

Ay Dios Mio!!! We are so thrilled about Tacos Diablo in Nassau, NY. Mi esposa and I both had a Bowlrito... one with chorizo, one with chicken. Both were dynamite!! I've enjoyed Mexican food from South California, to Arizona, to Mexico and this is some of the best I've ever tasted. Ingredients just pop with freshness. Homemade salsa, chips, and tamales too? Legitimately the best tacos I have had in years if not ever. Did pickup and they were perfectly on time. Churros were delicious as well!

Their food truck was at S and S Brewery last night. Big crowd and the second food truck didn't show, so there was a long line. it still took 45 minutes from the time I ordered to prepare my food. They give you a pager for when your order is ready but it never went off. After an hour I went to the truck when I saw the person in line ahead of me pick up his food. The proprietor said he had been calling my name for 15 minutes; I asked him what the pager was for and he accused me of breaking it. I told him if it took him that long to prepare food he wouldn't be in business for long and he told me to F myself. It's too bad, because the food is excellent, but I'll never purchase it again from the truck or the restaurant. read more

These folks are super and really care about that they are doing. Everything is great -- we are big fans and get takeout once a week.

What a great surprise! Enjoyed a terrific meal of tacos, salad, mex corn and the awesome jalapeño lemonade. Not sure what's going on with Blue Plate (they're using the kitchen there), but super quality, great ingredients and flavors. We are so excited that we have this new addition to the neighborhood. The tacos were all delicious and fresh. The pick up process was extremely easy and safe during this pandemic.
