2 tacos, 1 tripa, 1 chorizo. Grilled onions and jalapeños, sides of habanero salsa

Dont really ever review anything, but yall gota try the Tripe here if yall a fan of it. The meat isn't crunchy, this thing is somehow flaky, and I've never had tripe with this texture before. It's amazing. Get the habanero sauce if you like a nice kick. The chorizo is also amazing, as well.

$5 for 2 tasty chicken tacos

On Wednesday, July 24th, I paid $5.00 for two tasty chicken tacos. Delicious! (see picture).

Carne asada on point! The service was quick, just ring the bell! It is not yet established, so lines are short.

This place is very good the sauces are fire multiple flavors and the meat ain't dry has juice but not to much just right I come to this place every time I don't want to cook thank you for the food

3 tacos de Asada, 3 tacos de Chorizo. The tacos were so good! The spicy spicy salsa was actually spicy which was good!

The Asada was so good, it's so easy to mess up on that meat but they didn't. It was nice and different that the tortillas weren't warmed up in grease for anyone who needs that! They offered a "really spicy" sauce which was actually spicy! Good place!

The carne asada is so good here. Their salsa isn't as good as other spots, but the meat here is fire.

Quite literally the best tacos I've ever had. Not sure if they marinate or season it but they're amazing.

Some of their most popular dishes include Asada Burritos, Super Fries, and Tlayudas. I recently attended an event at my son's school where Chanos was a vendor. It was my first time seeing them there, and I was glad to see them, as they've replaced other vendors in the past. I had already eaten, but who can resist a burrito?! My son was getting hungry, so I ordered an Asada Burrito for us to share. It was pretty good; the tortilla was excellent. I wasn't a fan of their rice and beans, but the asada was not bad. They had a few salsas to try. They used those tiny salsa containers, which everyone knows. Restaurants use them to prevent over-indulgence, but it takes a while to get enough salsa because they're so small. I understand it's a cost-saving measure. They were also serving Churros ($3), and I got two. They were okay, a bit doughy in the middle, making me think they were undercooked. The guys working the booth were super friendly and attentive. I appreciate them! Realistically, the burrito was a 3/5, but with the good service and their community support, I'm rounding it up to a 4. Until next time, Chanos! Gracias!

I was starving. I parked and went in. I ordered 2 fish tacos and the cook instantly got 2 FRESH (not frozen) larger than expected, fish fillets, THEN dipped them into HOMEMADE BATTER right in front of me and dropped them into the fry basket. Where will you ever see that nowadays? They were ready almost instantly, and were done perfect Baja style, with lots of that good salty mayo+crema white sauce. THEY WERE AWESOME. And BIG. And would have cost WAY MORE at any other place...for $5. Really satisfying, I was NOT hungry after 2 of them. Since then I have probably been there 7 times, the quality has never varied. And they make all their own salsas, etc. I have even taken jobs down in that area just so I can eat there! ;-) The only other thing I have tried is taco de lengua, it was equally excellent, with LOTS of meat, not some skimpy little street taco thing. But just go there and see what $5 will get you with the fish tacos, this has to be the best deal in today's food world that I have found and I work all over the San Gabriel Valley and eat at dozens of places. Its not fancy though, old school with lots of handmade cardboard signs showing lots of other dishes, but this is the ambiance you will find in some of the BEST mom and pop type cafe's. The ratio of deliciousness and quality to price is insanely in favor of the customer!!

This place has been serving the community since 1979. Street parking only. Service is friendly, prompt. No frills but appears authentic enough. There are about 20 indoor seating (booths & tables). The cafe is fairly clean. Our order was ready in a jiffy. Got fresh salsa from the counter along with pickled carrots, onions & jalapeños. Not bad but the menudo lacked depth & richness, so did the albondigas. Overall a good experience at least once.
