I am a firm believer that the best tacos you'll have in Los Angeles county come from trucks, not restaurants. I was recommended by my dad to check this place out. I got a variety of tacos and none of them disappointed me. I think my favorite was the Al pastor taco. I also had my eyes on their drinks, and their burritos. The clerk was also very nice recommending me what I should order as it was my first visit. He also encouraged me to get some sauces and lemons to add to my tacos. There is no outdoor seating as it's literally parked on the side of the street, so it's best to walk across the street to TC park. This is one of my regular taco trucks in the area. There's not too many choices in the area, but this one is by far the best one. My regular order? Al pastor "gringas." They have tacos, tortas, and other creations. They have your regular meats, beef, chicken, and on occasion beef tongue and head (more tender parts). It's funny how the closest places that you live by are the ones you don't eat at. This taco truck is on Las Tunas practically every day starting in the afternoon. My dad was craving tacos (specifically buche) on a Saturday night so we decided to go. The workers were super friendly and gave us recommendations. We ordered the following items: 1. Pollo taco (6/10) - pretty standard chicken taco! I appreciated how it was seasoned well and not too chewy/overcooked. 2. Buche taco (8/10) - meat was cooked just right, perhaps my dad hasn't had buche taco in a while he was really craving it 3. Al pastor taco (10/10) - super delicious! Probably the best al pastor taco I've had which says a lot. The sweetness from the pineapples really complemented the saltiness of the pork. Overall solid taco stand and definitely will come back! Tacos are now $2.50, quesadillas $9 and they recently starting selling fish tacos ($3.50) which is pretty good and big portion but could use a little more sauce. They'll ask if you want cilantro and onions on the tacos, sauces are on the table. I can't take much spicy but I like the darker red salsa because of the smoky flavor. A sincronizada is a quesadilla but with ham, yes it's simple but it tastes like home to me. The staff is so friendly and fun to chat with. I've come here several times in the past. Not sure what happened to my previous review. Today, I definitely like the lengua tacos and the al pastor tacos. The carne asada was just okay. We also got the Jamaica and it tasted great. I was savouring it for a day and really wanted a refill. Service is pretty quick if there isn't too many people ahead of you but many times this taco place has many people lined up for their good tacos. Definitely come by and check them out. They are parked across the street from the Temple City park on Las Tunas. No seating available so you can either stand and eat or take it to go. Good taco truck by City Hall! We got a mix of mulitas and tacos - both are solid choices (although mulitas are bigger and cost more). In terms of meat, I felt that the pastor (despite the name of the truck) was mediocre and that the brisket and cabeza were my favorite. We also liked the buche and tripe. The lengua is a single full piece instead of being broken into small pieces, so be aware that it's quite chewy. Overall a good taco truck and we will be back! read more

I was looking to find a good taco spot that was near Arcadia and stumbled upon this place. It was parked right next to this parking lot so you never have to worry about parking when coming here. I want to mention that I really love the trays they use, it's just so much better. There's no tables so you do have to eat at your car. As of 12/24/2023, the tacos are 2.50 but they may be subject to change. I ordered 6 tacos of various meats. I also put the bright green avocado salsa(?) on all tacos with limes. I'll list them out below of what I think about it. Suadero - 10/10. Absolutely delicious, it was meaty and also fatty. Not too chewy and pretty tender. Probably one of the best suadero's I've had. I'd get it again Cabeza - 10/10. Seriously so tender and fatty. It just shreds apart and is not oily. Compared to other places, I'd say this place has the BEST cabeza thus far. I'd say the cabeza at Tacos La Dona is not as tasty as super tacos Lengua - 8.8/10. It was a very delicious lengua taco, nice and meaty but I really wish that it was chopped up so that it was easier to eat. Chorizo - 7.8/10. Needed to be more meaty and in chunks. This one was in bits but was crunchy so I liked that. I would probably get it again once in a blue moon Asada - 4/10. It was really just lacking flavor. No unique smokiness or savoriness. It was just underwhelming. With the salsa, it really just tasted like I was eating a salsa taco despite not putting much. I would for sure not get this again. Al Pastor - 5/10. It was also lacking flavor. No smokiness or sweetness except from the pineapple. With the salsa, I couldn't really taste the meat that much. I wouldn't get this again. Overall, an amazing place to eat at and probably going to be my go-to taco spot from now on in the 626. I'd recommend getting everything but the al pastor and asada. tl;dr: super tacos indeed! Great meats all around; suadero stood out the most, and the alambre is excellent. Tacos from $1.75-2 depending on the meat. Asada was just okay in my opinion. Pretty standard taste, has the right amount of saltiness, but didn't taste that beefy to me. Seems like cheap cuts of beef w/ average marinade. It was almost cooked like it was steamed (like too much meat on the grill at once). Maybe that's why it's last on their menu... Loganiza is pretty great! It's interesting they don't call it 'chorizo' maybe because it seems different/exotic? Anyways, it looks just like chorizo and tastes like it too but also it's own thing. I had longaniza tacos before and they be different from this one. It does not have the typical chorizo taste from taco stands/trucks; definitely more spices/herbs in the mix. The taste almost reminds me of Indian food in a weirdly good way; complex taste with a hint of aromatics. It seems like they mix this themselves instead of buying for the meat store or market because I have eaten a lot of chorizos (yes I love sausage food) and I haven't had a flavor quite like this; would get it again. Pastor comes with pineapple. I like their meat since it was leaner than usual pastors; there's definitely a less greasy mouth taste and it has a decent marinade. It's not overly salty, not that sweet, and provides enough flavors to be satisfying. Tripas definitely has a great flavor (if not, one of the best I had around SGV), chewy/gamey for some people. I've eaten tripas at countless stands, and this is one is like chewing funny textures to extract bomb flavors. I can see why some people wouldn't like organ meat, but this is delicious. Maybe ask them to grill xtra if you'd like to dampen the chewy texture of your tripas. Suadero is where it's all; packed with flavor and a bite. The seasoning is light so you taste all the beef flavor. The texture is above their asada; there's a nice bouncy and grilled bite taste to it. The fact that it is stewed meat grilled after stewing, makes it very tasty (yall gotta understand how underrated suadero is while there's a birria shop popping every block). I think this is their highlight meat for all the 7 I've tried. Maybe that's why it's first on the menu... Cabeza is meaty and chopped in big chunks; really juicy and soft like it's tendon soup lol. Add a bit of salt to this and you'll realized stewed meat tacos are the shit. Would get again. The alambre is delicious! So much meat and cheese (for $13), this is a meat-lover's delight for sure. A good amount of bell peppers, grilled onion, pineapple (I got the pastor), jamon (ham), bistec (steak), tocino (bacon), make it full of flavors. Yes, it was obviously a bit on the greasy and salty end (all that combination of meats), but it is addicting and filling. Le cheese goes so well with theese and it comes with 3 medium-sized flour tortillas. Honestly, this seems like a better value than 6-7 tacos (at same price) for the amount of meat and cheese they give! A definite shareable portion for two, but some dares. Champurrado is delicious and perfect for those cold nights, eating in the parking lot. Definitely sets the mood for the simplicity of a late-night quick eats. It has a great balance of sweetness, thickness, chocolate, and cornflour taste :) It's basically hot corn cocoa imo. I'd much rather get this than horchata. Worth $3 Their light yellow-colored salsa spicy and has a great smokiness to it. It tastes complex but can dull at some point. I liked this but the spiciness might make you order an horchata. Red-colored salsa is really good here. The smokiness and umami hitting your tongue will make you want more despite the spiciness. Salsa verde is full of tomatillos flavor and has a nice little kick to it. Not a bad sauce if you like it a bit less spicy. Tastes decent enough to do its job. Now to the food, it was the most funky, smelly and rancid tasting food I've ever had. All the tacos tasted the same with that nasty flavor. Known for their pastor, they have a large piece of grilling meat in the window where you can see them freshly cutting it. I order the el pastor, tripa and asada. All were good, with lots of meat. The tripa was my favorite as it had tons of flavor and seasoning. I was a little disappointed with my el pastor and I didn't see or taste any pineapple. However, it still did taste good. My husband thought the el pastor burrito was okay and kind if small. Their fixings were different than other taco places I go to. They had cucumber slices and shredded radish. The green salsa is very hot! Woo wee! Although I was sweating, I was still enjoying the taste. The taco truck seems very clean and the people there are very nice.
