First time coming here what can I say customer service they need to work on I think they were upset because we came a little bit late. I didn't really know what time they close so the customer service really needs to improve. I ordered two out of tacos and one pasta and My Daughter ended up getting two Asada and some rice on the side Does have flavor. The meat was nice and tender. The green sauce needed a little bit more flavor overall week I give the tacos a 6.5. Tacos were definitely not good. No, the tortillas weren't handmade as claimed to be. The packs of store-bought tortillas were sitting near the grill for all to see. The tortillas were hard like they'd been sitting out for a while. Would not go back. read more

Such an amazing mom and pop spot, the moment you walk in it has that warmth as if you were walking into your grandparents home and the staff is super nice as well! My baby shower was this weekend . I placed an order on Wednesday over the phone for 3 trays of carne asada which feeds 30-40 ppl or so he said and it came with salsa and some tortillas and limes for $30 a tray =$90 total . With all commotion from the party I did not get a chance to take a picture of it but the meat was warm , tender and chopped into small pieces . It was perfect and there was an entire tray left over . Now heading back home to Vegas but next time I'm at my sisters I will be placing an order from here . Thank you !!! Update : 2019 December. Called to order in advance for my daughters birthday they took order and the price had gone up significantly. Day before : I called no answer all day .So I went in and the lady said yes they have my order will be ready at 12 pm . So I decided to bring my girl some lunch before work and looked for a taco shop on the way there. I then came across this little gem. Went in and was treated very nicely and my order was taken quick! While I was getting my salsa my tacos were done and ready to go! Hands down some of the best tacos around. My girl loved them and the red sauce. They don't have fountain drinks or an ice machine so that totally sucks. In a hot ass room a cold can soda won't last long. They didn't take long to give us our food I will say that. My burrito was mediocre, it was full of rice and beans, a little bit of cheese and a piece of avocado somewhere inside. I hardly got any carne asada. Disappointing! I think there was more meat in the mulita that my wife ordered! The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because my wife liked her mulitas and my mother in law liked her tacos. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. 1. Got my order completely wrong! 2. We let the lady know what we ordered then is persistent we did not order that. Upon checking the receipt turns out we INDEED ORDER THAT. 3. Doesn't fix the issue 4. Gives us another persons order 5. Tells us "order was already made so we have to eat it" 6. Order took about 40 minutes to make only for it not to be our order. 7. Extra charge for salsa? Shouldn't it be included with the over priced meal? 8. They are nice to all the older people that walked in but extremely rude to the younger ones? I'm offended! Maybe it's because I'm a pocha?! Lol Maybe this restaurant is a gamble... On my way home from school, I was craving tacos. Like those real, authentic, Mexican style tacos. And oh my, I'm so glad I found Don Ramons on Yelp! Their menu is minimal, including tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas and mulitas. They have 10 meats to choose from: asada, carnitas, al pastor, pollo, chorizo, tripa, buche, cabeza, lengua and estilo-viagra(all meats mixed.) I ordered 2 tacos de al pastor, 1 chicken and 1 carnitas. And a carne asada mulita with a horchata. All their meats I tasted were really juicy and flavorful. The mulita was done with a thicker sope type tortilla and it was like heaven in my mouth. The asada may be a little fatty, but I found that when I paired it with their green sauce, it was still delicious. They have cilantro, onions, lemons, cucumbers and salsas all to the side to add onto your food per your taste. I noticed someone said their meat lacked salt in a previous review, but there was also salt packets available when I came in. I don't know if that was put as a direct reaction to the review though! I will definitely be back! I'm curious to try the Viagra mix since I've never heard of it. Also, the atmosphere feels homey and very welcoming. My dad has been telling us about this place for about 2 weeks now so we decided to try it out. We (husband and I) both got burritos and tacos. I don't like rice in my burrito so that was the only differences with his and mine. And my burrito was pretty bland. I was quite disappointed. He tried it and said oh wow. His burrito had more flavor because of the rice. As for the tacos I got 1 lengua, 1 cabeza and 1 al pastor. Lengua was ok, needed some salt. But I definitely like the other two better. I really want to give this place another shot. Maybe it was just one of those days where they just needed a little more salt in their food. I'm looking forward to next time. Hands down favorite place to get tacos and burritos. I was introduced to this place by my brother, who had been coming to Tacos Don Ramon since they were a taco stand. I'm so glad they have a store front location now. So I usually get a burrito with the estilo-viagra (all meats mixed). I like to put grilled onion, the spicy red hot sauce, and the green avocado salsa on my burritos. I don't usually go out there because I live in OC, but I would make a special trip out to Tacos Don Ramon just to eat these burritos. I would highly recommend coming here. read more

The food is great and delicious. I ordered online and personally requested napkins and extra salsa and they didn't include either. With greasy finger foods and juicy tacos, I should have received napkins especially if I asked for them. Their salsa also comes it baggies that have to be cut open so it is likely to spill everywhere. They should invest in some little containers for the salsa. read more
