Wow!! Just wow.. this year like most of my overweight crew.. we started this year with a diet. Low card of course because thats what's trendy. Last night i tried Tacos El Afro for the first time. I ordered 3 asada keto tacos. What a big mistake. Now im out here in the desert waiting for their truck to show up. These tacos were so darn good! The tacos were fair, they serve pinto beans instead of refried and the rice was not authentic at all and not cooked all the way, so it was crunchy and dry. The selection of Mexican taco trucks is scarce so it's important for me to tell you that although the burrito was good, the rice was undercooked. There was a cilantro leaf or two,at best. I recommend fully cooking the rice and having a higher ratio of cilantro/onion to the other fillings. That would make it to bump up from "good" to "definitely must try". I've ordered form here a few times in door dash and the food was so good so when I was driving around one day and wanted to stop and get food I saw the truck so I stopped to get food. I was immediately greeted by who I believe was the owner. Very polite and welcoming. He directed me to take my order at the other end of the truck. Another man comes to the truck and firstly refuses to speak Spanish to me even though Spanish is my native language (typical for me as a Morenita) second when he repeated my order to me he said it under his breath and super fast so I couldn't understand anything. He didn't get the two orders of rice I ordered for ny daughter and I so when I got my food I had to go back and order again. When I went back to get the rice he argued with me and was rude instead of saying "oh I'm sorry I didn't get that let me add it for you" or something.
