We visited on Tues, for dinner, with a party of two and it was a nice experience. We arrived and seated ourselves at a table, the place was empty. The dining area is medium sized and very clean. The host/server came out and took orders. They serve beer & wine. We had Chips & Salsa (not complementary), then Alambre Volcan, and Enchiladas. The Alambre was excellent, it is basically fajitas with 6 different types of meats, covered with cheese. Both entrees were huge portions and their habanero salsa had a kick. We got the chilaquiles divorciados and the birria combo, and boy was this so good! Probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had so far! The chips are sauced to perfection; sauce is so flavorful and has nice kick of spice they have that nice balance of crunch and softness. The birria melts in your mouth and pairs nicely with the handmade tortillas. The service was quick and the people working here are attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. I'm so glad I gave them a try, I went back the next day for more. I ordered the handmade tacos and the street tacos, they were tasty. I also tried their champurrado, it was yummy. The salsas were tasty and I ordered a burrito and menudo which are great portion sizes and the menudo came with 3 handmade tortillas. We are very disappointed in our order with Azteca! We decided to order the food via Postmates. We requested in our order to get salsa (which should be a no brainer in Mexican food as it compliments the food) and received NO salsa. So we had to eat our burrito and taco with Tapatio which is unfortunate when you spend over $50 on a burrito, two tacos and a Birria plate. Then our birria came with tortillas which had a green like mold on them! We are dissatisfied with our order, the service although the food tasted okay it would have been better with fresh tortillas and salsa. This is not the first time they provided an order with no salsa and this time we have chosen to never again dine with them as they have shown to have no regards for their costumers! If you want to enjoy a good quality Mexican place and have no issues, it's best to try some where else when there's so many in town. read more

Just ordered through uber eats for dinner tonight. I got the Birria plate with rice and beans, and it came with hand made corn tortillas. My boyfriend got the wet burrito and two street tacos. A little disappointed in the service, as we requested extra red and green salsa and only received one of each. They gave me a lot of meat, however it was a little bland and also badly needed salt. Also the meat was a little fattier than I like. My boyfriend liked his pollo tacos, but found the asada chewy. The handmade tortillas were really good. Me and my Mom came in on a Monday evening around 7pm, the restaurant was empty but we wanted Mexican food. Our server was by himself (besides the cook) but he was attentive and kind. We asked if the 5$ Mimosas were still be offered and he replied "yes", so naturally we each order one. Our meals were cooked to order (at least the proteins) & were solid...Issue came when our bill arrived and we were charged regular price for the drinks in which our server (although an apology was offered) stated he thought we meant "could I(he) still make the mimosas". I was there about 6 months back and I had ordered 2 menudos. I had placed it over the phone. Considering that I only live about 10-15 minutes away from the restaurant, presiding with the order I asked about wait time and I was told that it'll take about 30 minutes. Got there 40 minutes after the order, I still waited 10 minutes more. For some reason they decided not to tell me they had it ready they were going to prepare the food as I was waiting. Fortunately one of the staff members pointed out my order. It was sitting on a shelf. I thought that it was going to be cold, but heck no. The food is always delicious and consistent. Their Pastor tacos and Torta are delicious.. if you're craving a breakfast burrito their chorizo breakfast burrito is hands down the best breakfast burrito I've ever hand. We tried finding an authentic Mexican restaurant with good drinks azteca completely disappointed. We ordered micheladas they did not know how to prep them. For food we ordered a mocajete. I've never had mocajete with beans instead of salsa the chicken looked undercooked as well as the meat. The shrimp was over cooked and tasted like rubber. Would not recommend at all. I'm giving them three stars solely because we were a large party (12) and they got everyone's order correct. Other than that it was mediocre. The food was ok and service was less than. I'm not sure If our server was new but she wasn't very friendly and gave some major attitude. When asked if we could order food at the same time as our drink order I was told "can you wait". Before we ordered we asked if we could split the bill and were told yes only to find out that we could only split into three equal amounts.
