Found this gem when we were in town for our daughter's state softball tournament. It truly was such a vibe - there was loud music playing, nice atmosphere and tons of people. We tried the aguachiles, shrimp cocktail and we had to try their famous carrot cake! Everything was delicious and more than we expected. Our server was very friendly and kind. I can't believe this hidden gem is located so close to me. The fish tacos were delicious and the service was great. I was told that people drive here from all over the AV and now I understand why. It's not loud and overwhelming like the other seafood restaurant down the road (that I didn't like). I like the private booths here. read more

Menudo was mid, not very flavorful. Staff was nice but they charged $9 for a side of chorizo. Literally cost more than our coffees. Insane

This little gem in Palmdale was great. The ambience was great for family meals. The michelada was savory, salty and the right amount of spice. It was my first time coming here and the food was absolutely amazing! I forgot to put a review in when I had gone 2 weeks ago and have been thinking about this restaurant since, that should tell you all you need to know. I am a super picky eater when it comes to Mexican food but this place made me feel so at home. I got the 7 mares soup and it was so delicious. I would post a picture but I took one bite of the shrimp with the broth and completely forgot to. The staff was so attentive and incredibly kind. We had the pleasure of returning to try their Menudo. The broth was clean, what I mean is that it was not greasy and the menudo did not have that terrible aftertaste that some other places have trouble removing. Their menudo includes hominy and I was able to distinguish the ingredients used in this hearty broth. The meal came with what I like to call "the works" (oregano, diced onion, cilantro, and roasted chile de arbol) and tortillas. At first sight, the bowl didn't appear to be big, but while eating, it felt like I wasn't even putting a dent in it. 3.5 I had the camarones a la diabla, didn't like them, the tomato flavor is overpowering and only had 6 shrimps in it. Also tried the aguachiles, those were better, came with 8 shrimps. The fajitas were decent, but they only bring you 2 tortillas, 3 shrimps. The cocktails were good, the small one came with 6 shrimps and large with 7 shrimps. I also tried the salmon, wasn't very flavorful, just tasted like fish, needed seasoning. Some of the plates needed salt so we added salt to the aguachile and cocktails, but it's better then it being salty. The fajitas were a bit salty. The flan was way to sweet, it was creamy but way to sweet. Hibiscus water was good. The drinks were ok, michelada and mango margarita. Current Menu prices on pictures below. The place is decent, good vibes. The restrooms were smelly and place needs a remodel or better cleaning, since theres food stains on the walls and so. Was passing through and wanted a burrito and was about to go to Carl's Jr when I spotted this place. As soon as I walked in I immediately loved the smell and the look! I hate to use the word "authentic" so I'll just say this place is real! So, first impression was good. Next I found out they use chicken breast in the burritos...another great thing to know! I only eat chicken breast so this made me super happy! Then I got my food and I loved it! I'm a simple dude so I don't like wet burritos, so a basic burrito as big as my face is what I like. Ordered the menudo. I'm mostly picky about ordering menudo at restaurants but this place didn't disappoint. The menudo was clean. No weird taste. They added all the necessary toppings and I had a pick up order. I liked that they add a side of chips and salsa. The order came with your choice of flower or corn tortillas. Toppings of limes, salt, oregano, Chile de Arbol and onion/cilantro. All for $16. Ordered over the phone and the place had three diff door, I finally got it the third time lol. Went up to the front and stated I had preordered. They shouted "phone order" I sat down and before I can even open app to play a game my food was ready. My wife and I have seen this place across from Carl's forever. We were always curious but it wasn't till recently that we decided to give them a try. I don't think we have gone more than 2 weeks before ordering their food. Their Baja tacos are just too good, street tacos are full and great flavors, along with everything else we tried. Even their margaritas are amazing, not one of those syrupy and overly sweet. Their star berry margarita is something I just can't get enough of. Overall, this place is just astounding! Their service and quality is incredible and their menu is really just a testament to their quality, not to mention their prices are extremely reasonable.
