This is my go-to truck for street tacos because they're consistently delicious and quick. I keep cash on hand mainly so I could get these tacos at any time! All of the tacos are fantastic-- the asada and al pastor are my favorites.

I really liked their tacos. We got some de carne asada, al pastor and carnitas. They came w onions and cilantro on the side and limes. PLUS was the grilled jalapeños and the cooked onions. They wrapped it all in foil individually. Tacos were very delicious and tasty. They are a bit small so I would go w one more than normal for it to fill you up. It matches the street tacos vibe! Enjoyed it would come back. $2 TACOS! They even gave us some beans while we waited. Food came out fast and the waiter was nice. Location was good too and they were busy but still got out tacos out in 15 mins. They also answered their phone when I called to confirm their location and see if they were open and I appreciate that since we got a curfew and all!

    Nicely light truck

Location is a bit discreet and a bit low lit, but the food is amazing. I paid $10 and the food was better then you would find at some high end restaurants. Service was quick and really nice. Most definitely a rare find in San Antonio

Me + the fam are here every Friday night. I cook all week and we eat out on the weekends, it's the key to a happy life, for real. We order carne asada tacos + Mexican Cokes for "here". Here being your car with the a/c on + bumping your favorite jams. Cause we like to enjoy our tacos while they are hot. Bring cash!

The carnitas burrito is awesome, the staff is super nice, and the free beans are great! (Especially when it's chilly outside)

Best mini tacos in San Antonio, the beans reminded me of Mexico and my mom likes the hamburger. The salsa was great not to spicy but spicy.

Me and my husband love late night food runs and this place is perfect because they are always open late. There is never a long wait (as long as you get there before the bar crowds let out) and food is always fresh. St Mary's is a busy area but that just adds to the food truck experience. They will always have a customer in me!

My wife and I use to frequent this place YEARS ago, the service was good and the food was good,…read moreyears later we decided to go back & mannn the food quality & service has went down terribly! Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!
