This is my go-to truck for street tacos because they're consistently delicious and quick. I keep cash on hand mainly so I could get these tacos at any time! All of the tacos are fantastic-- the asada and al pastor are my favorites.

I really liked their tacos. We got some de carne asada, al pastor and carnitas. They came w onions and cilantro on the side and limes. PLUS was the grilled jalapeños and the cooked onions. They wrapped it all in foil individually. Tacos were very delicious and tasty. They are a bit small so I would go w one more than normal for it to fill you up. It matches the street tacos vibe! Enjoyed it would come back. $2 TACOS! They even gave us some beans while we waited. Food came out fast and the waiter was nice. Location was good too and they were busy but still got out tacos out in 15 mins. They also answered their phone when I called to confirm their location and see if they were open and I appreciate that since we got a curfew and all!

Been coming for years. We call it dinner under the stars. We use to bring our German, Austrian and Norwegian exchange students. When they come to visit this is one of their favorite places to revisit. Beans are delicious and the taquitos are all great. Eespecially like the Barilitos sodas. The salsas and chiles toreados are tasty addition to the tacos and tortas. read more

For late night food craving this food truck is great. I only had three items from their menu and I can't order any other item cause the three I order are so good. Try their burrito, I love the hell out of them and guess what? I'm not a burrito guy. I never eat burritos. But the burritos here are near perfect. Thumbs up on their tacos and salsa too. For the years that I have been here in San Antonio, I had been searching for awesome street tacos and never could find any until now! :) This food truck is a good distance from where I live but well worth the drive. I truly love their tacos and Mexican burger. I really recommend anyone looking for amazing street tacos to come here. read more

This is the best food truck I have ever been to. Everything is so delicious I normally get the hamburger. So DELICIOUS. They recently put quesadillas on the menu and that's also really good. Sometimes they get a little tight with the cheese but they stuff it with meat. They give you a small cup of beans while you wait. I do recommend. read more

Amazing food! Great costumer service! The gentlemen were very nice to help me order my dinner. I do not understand Spanish but they help me with my order understanding the meat options they had. Holy moly, your life will never be the same. I first heard about this taco truck from my dad... How he found out about it, I don't know but I am so glad he did! I usually get the Asada tacos. The meat has such a great flavor and is phenomenal on corn tortilla with onions and cilantro. Every time I go I have to get a pineapple soda to go with it. Not only are their tacos the shiz, but the guys who work back there are super nice and patient with someone who doesn't know Spanish! And they're prices are awesome. I will never look for a better taco truck. P.s. They do call in orders! read more

Tried it for the first time. Pretty good. Service was quick. Went around 10pm. They had a line going. The guy was nice enough to break 100 dollar bill. The cup of beans weren't really heated. But I guess that's what microwaves are for. Good tacos read more

This place hit the spot after a day of driving from Amarillo to San Antonio. The service was great and everyone in our group (15 people) enjoyed the food. I had the asada burrito. The salsa and generous amounts of grilled onions with the order made it extra good. You even get a small cup of charro beans to enjoy while you wait. read more

I am so glad that someone posted a picture of their card! I called in my order for three asada tacos on corn and they did not disappoint. The tacos were so good! PERFECT size and they come with cilantro and onion. They also gave me a red sauce and green sauce...I'm green sauce girl. They also gave me these awesome cooked onions and a cooked or roasted maybe, jalapeño but I was to chicken to try it. I will return. Awesome prices but bring cash. read more

Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!

As I said, everything was phenomenal. Unfortunately, there is one issue we cannot look past, although we have tried. The bagels are delicious, but they are the absolute wettest, slippery and slidey-est bagels I've ever had in my life. The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. Delicious, but.... we must bid you farewell, Boss Bagel. Godspeed.

All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.
