Jeniece & JJ gave us some awesome service. I'll come back again because service like this isn't easy to find. The food is great too, famous Philly is solid, I'll have to get a large next time since the regular wasn't enough food. Wonderful kid play area, basketball hoop, playground, cornhole, etc.!

I have been eating Malik's Philly's Phamous Cheesesteak for years. They never fail to deliver quality cheesesteaks! Always loved the outdoor vibe at the Rose Bush but the inside seating is great. If you have never tried it! It's a big must, a 100% best cheesesteak in Texas!

This place was recommended to me by a local person for the best Philly Cheesesteak in San Antonio. I took my son to it. He said it was very good and wants to go back on his next visit to town. Although I don't eat cheese, I tasted some of his meat and it was very tasty.

Saw this on SA Live & thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! I was prepared to be disappointed bc most cheesesteak places don't live up to expectations. But this sandwich was so delicious I can hardly wait to come back & have it again, though there's lots of choices. We ordered the large Malik & the parm herbed fries & both are large enough to split, probably between 3 people, but we were two and stuffed ourselves! The meat is thin sliced/chopped ribeye, soft, juicy, w virtually no fat or gristle on it. It seemed a double portion of meat, mixed w chopped grilled onions & mushrooms. We ordered w/o green peppers, but usually comes with it. Everything is cut the same size so every bite is a mixture of juicy flavors along with white melted American cheese underneath. The roll is toasted w just the right amount of juice from the meat to make it soft but not mushy. The fries? Perfect combination of herbed Parmesan cheese & hot, crispy hand cut potatoes. Plenty of topping...looked like it had snowed on them. Delicious! We've driven by many times, but given my experience w tasteless stringy fatty cheesesteaks in the past, figured this would be the same. No way! This was the real thing! Definitely planning a return trip soon! Everything is prepared to custom order so food is hot, service is great, and plenty of tables to sit at.

Found this place back in 2015 when I was flipping houses in the area, and they still have the same quality they did back then. Best cheese steaks I've had in San Antonio. Love that they have Philly Cheese fries, for those times I want a Philly and fries but don't know any all the bread. It's definitely a full meal by itself. Despite the fact that they put all the fixings on top of the fries, the fries are always super crisps!

This place used to be t spot to get fresh and hot cheesesteaks and other goodies. Their fries used to be crispy and well seasoned. This wasn't the case on my last visit. The cheesesteak was good, but the kids meal I got for my little one and the side of fries was not. The fries were full of grease and not crispy at all. The hot dog seemed old and the bun was hard. Very underwhelming for $8 kids meal. The side of fries were similar to the greasy ones pictured below. Just be sure to ask for fresh fries if you stop by. Hopefully it was an off day for them, but it was around opening time on a Sunday and they weren't busy.

The vibrancy of this food truck and area is amazing and perfect for nighttime eats! The food is fresh and delicious! They even have little ice cream type of refreshment! The service is quick and respectful. The nighttime is perfect for a little date with the lights on! It's a beautiful spot! They also have other trucks there if you like seafood! Very cool spot! Would definitely recommend to go by! If your a fries lover and of course a fan of Philly cheesesteaks! Not all that pricy either totally worth it!

This Philly cheesesteak place was really good... but the meat is extremely salty!!! But it was still good just very salty.

This cannot be beat. Get the American cheddar (and extra if you love cheese). Get extra red sauce (jalapeno salsa or something). I like my cheesesteak with mushrooms and jalapeños. This is definitely big enough to share unless you have a beast for a husband. Get 2 and put 1/2 in fridge for tomorrow. It gets a tad soggy, but it's almost even better the next day. So, when co-workers wanted to go yesterday, I jumped on it. Don't get me wrong. I love the vibe of this place. I LOVE their story. It's very NY/Northeastern deli feel (they're from Pittsburgh, but you get my drift, right!?). No nonsense. Small inside area. No tables inside. Just enough room to look at the menu, order, and go wait outside. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch on hoagie. What came out was a decent size sandwich, but incredibly messy and soggy. There was so much juice/ liquid the sandwich quickly became unmanageable and just disintegrated. Look, if you're going to serve a sandwich that messy, please upgrade your napkins. It was a one bite - two napkin ratio. The sandwich was good, but the mess and difficulty eating it just took away any enjoyment. Additionally, the flies outside rivaled the worst I've experienced. Do you remember the scene in the Lost World, Jurassic Park movie when the hunters found the Rex nest!? Okay, okay, maybe not that bad, but it was a lot. Hang some fly bags or strips or somethin'. Found price to be a little high. By the time I bought chips and a drink, plus tip: $22. Just FYI: my co-worker disagrees. He thought it was the BEST SANDWICH HE'D EVER HAD. So, yes, go give them a try, but bring a beach towel for clean up.

Usually Wagyu is known to be juicy and moist, but this tasted nothing like that caliber. It was disappointing but at least not very pricy. Fries were okay but pretty chopped up and not the style I prefer. Some of the other places looked promising like the ice cream and cafe. The poke/ceviche also sounded good on paper but when we walked by (maybe around 1.5-2 hours before closing), the quality of the raw fish didn't look too great and was a little discolored so we passed. Do yourself a favor and fight for street parking. I walked up to the outside counter Saturday night about 7:20. Never been here. The ladies behind the counter obviously could NOT have cared less. No nice welcome...no pleasantries. Nothing said. I spoke first, asking about seating availability inside (it was chilly), and they were rude - looked at me like I was from outer space and said they didn't know. They said they didn't know in that "yeah, good luck with that...it's Saturday at 7, dumbass" kinda way. How could you not know? And if you truly didn't know, which one of them should have gone to check for me. So I went and checked myself. Turns out: plenty of seating. Returned to the chilly duo and placed my order. Ordered the Wake and Bacon burger. I also ordered a Topo Chico, which was also met with a blank "are you from this planet?" stare. How do you not have Topo Chico or something similar !? The burger was just okay. Tiny, but tasty. Fries were so salty and over-seasoned as to be almost inedible. No one checked on me after bringing me my burger. Not one time.
