First off, we are so happy to find this food truck because we haven't had good Mexican food in our area for a while now until we discovered this place! Not sure when they opened but the 5 star reviews on yelp are justified!! My husband and I were lazy to cook for ourselves and the kids so we decided to give them a try and oh my god I'm so happy we did! The food tastes fresh, delicious and homemade! We couldn't wait and finished quesadillas on the way home. The guacamole and salsa it came with was so delicious and fresh that I even finished that although I usually wouldn't. Nothing was left on the plate at the end :) The owner was there with another person and they were both very kind and thoughtful! You can tell they put their heart and soul into it! I've been driving past this taco truck for months now waiting for the right time to tray it out. Today was that day. I decided on the tacos al pastor and my wife had the deluxe burrito (with chicken). I don't think she finished her first bite before saying it was one of the best burritos she's had. Full of chicken and flavor right up to the end. My tacos were juicy and full of flavor. I'm just now getting started on my al pastor journey (Journey al Pastor?) but if this is a good example, it's going to be a fun adventure. I look forward to coming back and trying some other favorites here. Perhaps a touch pricier than I was expecting, but that's the way of things these days. I recently ordered food here for the family since it was close to home & the reviews were good. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, but I personally loved the tacos al pastor. The meat was very flavorful and was complimented beautifully by some lime juice and a generous helping of the spicy salsa taquera. The truck, being adjacent to a quiet gas station on an otherwise busy highway, is easy to miss but is well worth it for those living in the area. A blue truck serving very tasty Mexican food. Owner is a very kind gentleman who always sports a smile. We drive all the way from Maple Valley just for their tacos and burritos. Steak burrito, steak tacos and Al-pastor tacos are always part of the order. The Al pastor tacos have grilled pineapple (unlike other places that just take it out of a can and serve it on your taco). Let's give a shout out for a taco truck! Ambience, if you like the side of a highway and noisy, this one has you covered. Parking is crap and competes with a gas station and a landscaping business. But if you stop, you will be rewarded with some amazing food that comes from a truck. Everything I've had here has tasted amazing. A very nice family run food truck off of Renton/Maple Valley Hwy. The few times I've been there usually one or the kids is at the window working the register and taking orders and either mom or dad are cooking. The food was made fresh and there wasn't a very long wait. Last time I ordered the 3 tacos which came with rice and beans, all we're prepared perfectly. Much better food here than some of the indoor dining establishments in town. Definitely worth a try, support local small businesses! read more

I was so excited when I found this place. Taco Time I trash. Taco Bell is not the flavor of Mexico and most chains cut so many corner's they might as well add a drive through. The first time I ate here, I was really impressed. The meat was spicy and flavorful and everything was served hot and fresh. I returned a few days later to try some other items, the food was not as good as before, but still good enough for me to be a fan. On my most recent visit, things went wrong. The food did not have as much flavor, the portion appeared smaller and the worst part is, I got food poisoning. This is something I take seriously and it's only happened to me a couple times in life. First time was as a teenager and when we reported it, the health department told us the restaurant in question had many complaints. I don't know if it was a handling issue, temperature issue or what, all I know is that next day was misery. I was there Saturday before close, and woke early am in pain and with an angry butt hole. In hindsight, I should have called my MOM, Milk of Magnesia, but when you got an angry exit hole, all you can think about is getting off the highway. I don't know what to tell you, but I don't think I'll be back. Paying for pain isn't my idea of fun and no taco is worth feeling like an angry midget is inside your guts. I recommend the carnitas tacos, perfect! Juicy and crispy just like they should be! They have tacos al pastor by the way, delicious!!! Pollo es delicious as well. Super friendly people and quick service. Only knock was our rice was dry but I would try it again as it was almost 7 when we stopped. I would recommend everybody try it! The Al Pastor tacos were delicious, this is the best taco truck I've found in the Maple Valley area. Definitely will return!
