FIRST TIME HERE! You cannot eat these tacos driving down the road... They will spill out onto your lap because they are stuffed full. They are so delicious. The hot sauce is hot, which I love. This place is better than taco time FOR SURE! Authentic, Mexican food that is absolutely fresh & delicious. They are also cheaper than taco time. The girl at the drive-through actually seems to love her job which was refreshing and darling. Bring cash to tip her. They accept tips. There is lots of parking here if you want to eat your tacos in your car like me. Let's Support Mexican restaurants... and come here. The food was delicious and fabulous especially for the price. I will be back for sure. Two tacos stuffed me. I am so full... Sitting here like a happy cat after eating my delicious Mexican food. I absolutely loved this place.

Subject: Ongoing Customer - Serious Drop in Food Quality Hi, I'm reaching out as a regular customer who orders from your location weekly. We've always enjoyed your fish tacos, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Today we ordered four fish tacos at $3.99 each, and the quality was far below your usual standard: The fish was burnt, dry, and overly "fishy" tasting There was little to no seasoning..completely lacking flavor The tacos were missing the cream/sauce that normally comes with them Overall presentation was sloppy and not reflective of what you typically serve We called to provide feedback, not even asking for a refund or replacement, but were told nothing could be done without a receipt. That response completely missed the point,we were simply trying to alert you that something is off in the kitchen. I've attached photos so you can clearly see the issue. This is not the quality we've come to expect from your establishment, and it's concerning enough to make us reconsider continuing to order. I strongly recommend reviewing your kitchen standards, especially regarding food prep consistency and quality control during shifts. We hope this is addressed, as we would prefer to continue supporting your business...but not at this level of quality. -- A regular customer

A place called "California Burrito" is expected to have a much better California Burrito than they actually make. I bought a California Burrito which does not even come with guacamole or sour cream, both of which added up to be $5 extra. I also asked for crispy fries which they did not make crispy at all. The tortilla was partially cold and the entire burrito was soggy. From the perspective of someone from San Diego where California Burritos were made, this place is pathetic, does not deserve any kind of recognition and should be required to change its name.

Great food, lovely ambiance, and a staff with helpful tips and guides you to really really good Mexican food. The Norris tacos will make your day (pro tip, split them as they are really good and filling-the cilantro and onions are on the side). Carne Assad fries are just super good.

Carne Asada Quesadilla, it's massive! Normally we dine in, but this time I took it home.

¡Ay Caramba! It's Muy Bueno! This is probably the 5th meal I've had at California Burrito. Portion sizes are large and the prices seem very reasonable. I also have to say that no matter when I come in, or who's working, service is prompt & their attitude is always friendly and cheerful. My only gripe is that their guacamole tastes surprisingly uninspired, but everything else is very tasty.

Grand opening 1/3/25 in a former KFC. The prices look pretty fair. It's half off on the grand opening and they had a mariachi band up front. The food is decent and I can't really complain when its deals to be honest will update after a few visits in the future.

Great customer service. I was greeted as I walked into the restaurant. There were lots of choices to choose from at reasonable prices. I got a beef enchiladas plate, which tasted great and had a good-sized serving. I will come again!

Shrimp plate and carne asada plate. Salsa bar is yummy as well!

The service was great--everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The menu is pretty extensive, especially when it comes to tacos, so there are plenty of options to choose from. I tried the asada, carnitas, birria, and adobada tacos. All were decent, with the birria being my favorite. The other meats weren't bad by any means, but they were a bit on the drier side compared to some other taco spots I've been to. The rice and beans were pretty standard--exactly what you'd expect, nothing particularly standout. One thing I really liked, though, was the self-serve salsa bar. It's always a plus being able to customize your flavors. One thing to note is that you do need to bus your own table, but considering the price and portion sizes, it feels fair and worth it. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal. I'll definitely be exploring more of this area of Renton--there seem to be a ton of authentic Mexican restaurants nearby. We went late at night, so options were a bit limited at the time, but this was a good find.

The space has been converted and feels that way, like the fingerprints of the previous tenant has not been erased. The menu is extensive with all the typical dishes we see in Mexican restaurants with very reasonable costs. They offer a few alcoholic drinks including margaritas, which I found to be splendid and perfectly balanced. The food also was tasty. I ate the enchiladas especial which seemed like fairly typical enchiladas and I mean that in the best of ways. The service also was great.
