Was in the area today and saw that this franchise took over this location from an old KFC. One of their biggest challenges to be honest is the left turn if you were coming down the hill from Fred Meyer towards the hospital. My advice would be to turn at the red light right by Fred Meyer and then exit the parking lot and come in here via the side entrance. They did a nice job refurbishing the interior and exterior. Interior was spotless and well-maintained. Post mix beverage dispensary is available in the lobby and they have a nice salsa bar with many different options. Drove by this almost everyday and decided to give it a try. They're located in a corner of a very busy street, so make sure you make the right turn!! I accidentally turned to early, but decided to park and walk there. Plenty of parking at the location and definitely tons of seating inside. Clean and bright, makes it welcoming when you're having lunch. I had the carne asada burrito and my boyfriend had the California burrito. Their salsa bar was stocked with options of mild-hot salsa and I love it! I wished they had cilantro, but the picked carrots and jalapenos were good enough. I truly enjoyed the carne asada burrito. The flavor was great and it was full of meat! Wish it was a bit hotter. On the other hand, my boyfriend's burrito was extremely hot! I think it was the cheese? He enjoyed it. FIRST TIME HERE! You cannot eat these tacos driving down the road... They will spill out onto your lap because they are stuffed full. They are so delicious. The hot sauce is hot, which I love. This place is better than taco time FOR SURE! Authentic, Mexican food that is absolutely fresh & delicious. They are also cheaper than taco time. Prior to this new location opening, we used to go up the hill to Aliberto's. But now, we come here for a few reasons. First of all, we don't eat red meat, and this location has more variety for us. Secondly, it's nice to receive your order correctly, and just as you ordered it. And with the former, it's a 50/50 shot that you'll get it. And here, I've personally never had an issue. I've always received my food hot and fresh. The service staff is lovely, and I never have to wait very long for my food. Bonus points for supplying more hot sauce than not enough. Finally, I love the bright lights around the building, and it makes it feel like a party. Whatever time of day you may come. I would definitely recommend coming to visit this location! read more

I bought a California Burrito which does not even come with guacamole or sour cream, both of which added up to be $5 extra. I also asked for crispy fries which they did not make crispy at all. I've ordered food here for quite a while, and it's always been good. Unfortunately, my experience today changed that. When I picked up a to-go order, I asked for a second bag. I was told no. I then asked if I could purchase an additional bag, and was again told no before the employee walked away. I ride a motorcycle, so a second bag is often necessary to keep sauces separate and transport the order safely. More than being denied the bag, the interaction made me feel dismissed and embarrassed for asking a reasonable question. I decided to circle back to see how time has treated this place. I was in the mood for a snack, so their value meal appeared to be a solid choice, in the end, despite the low price of $8, I was disappointed. For $7 plus tax, I got a bean and cheese burrito, chips, salsa and a soda. The burrito was small and was basically a serving spoon full of beans sprinkled with cheese, poorly wrapped in a tortilla. Unlike most places, there was no sauce. If it had some burrito sauce or enchilada sauce inside, it would have been more savory. You won't believe this, but the salsa was dry. It was a pico de gallo and more than likely is made once a day, so once cut, it's probably sitting in refrigeration, and that doesn't maintain the moisture. It also lacked flavor, so my suggestions would be to soak the salsa in a salt or MSG solution, that not only keeps the salsa fresh, but moist. After a taste, I threw it out. At first, the portion of chips looked small, but in the end, I didn't even finish them. They tasted good, but without something to dip them in, it just didn't have much purpose. They did have an impressive salsa bar, but as many have mentioned in their reviews, the salsa's have the consistency of water, which also equates to the flavor of water. They also had a selection of Pepsi products and I have no complaints. In the end, it was a $3 burrito at best. $2 of chips and a $2 soda. So, all said, it's really not a steal. Had the burrito had meat and maybe even some rice, then it would have been a steal, but charging $7 for $2 worth of goods isn't providing value. I've seen enough and don't plan to return. It's not good or quality Mexican food. read more

First time there, still Grand Opening status, and they forgot the very first item ordered on my receipt, (spent $80) got home, noticed child's food missing and had to go back. Was so unimpressed I have heard this spot was great so I was excited to try it. I got carne asada street tacos and they tasted like something someone could make at home. Not very authentic. On the plus side the tacos were a good size; larger than most street tacos. I may try it again and get a burrito or something else but still on the fence.
